"Adrian, I am gonna knock your teeth out one of these days."
"Why don't you go ahead and try it!"
"So, who's the kid and what brings you to my neck of the woods?"
He plopped the bag onto the counter, "I need you to weigh this down and give me an estimate."
He looked at the contents of the bag, "This is good stuff. Where did you find this pretty boy?"
"Didn't exactly, Radley over here did. Radley this is my brother William, his an a.s.shole."
Radley nodded and said, "Pleasure to meet you."
William gave him a once over, "Tell me what level are you. You look rather young."
Radley remained silent, as Adrian interjected, "Level two. He is a f.u.c.king savant. Actually saw him take down this albino himself." Radley did a quick scan of the man. William, Lv. 12, serious nature.

"You are kidding, right? How does a level two take down a level five beast?"
"That's what I wanted to know."
"You're being serious?"
"What do I gain from lying?"
"You're my brother and have always been an a.s.shole yourself."
"Oh, right. In all seriousness. He really did take him down."
The two quibbled on as Radley looked around the place. It seemed the place was a jack of all trades.
He looked around for a water filtration system when a little girl stopped him, "h.e.l.lo mister."
Radley didn't know how to respond and looked behind him as if the girl was talking to someone else. He pointed to himself, "You're funny mister. Is there something you want to buy?"
She walked around him evaluating his gear, "You're gear needs fixing. You should also get proper camping gear. I see that you are eyeing the water filtration system. How can you be an adventurer without something so basic?…amateurs."
Radley nearly fell on his head. He was being spoken down to by a mere little girl. William laughed behind them, "I see you have met my daughter."
He picked her up, "Her name is Lucy. She said that she was going to take over my position as the owner of this here establishment."
Radley smiled, 'Well she definitely has a way with words."
"So they say…Go on, my b.u.mper knuckle. Go play with your toys."
She smiled at Radley and ran away.
William continued, "In any case. My brother said he was going to have fifty kilos of the meat."
"Yes, sir."
"Sir? You're making me feel old. I am only thirty-four you know."
"Oh? My apologies."
"So, the amount of meat weighed in at 176 kilos. I will pay you 25.95 a kilo. How does that sound."
That was more than he originally expected, "Yeah, thanks."
"As for the carapace. Well, you did get a big boy. It weighed about twenty-two kilos. The market price is about four hundred."
"Ah wait. I want to use some of that carapace to improve my armor."
William scanned his armor, "What about your wrists?"
"Oh, I just need to clean them up. They need proper cleaning."
William nodded, "Also, I was told you broke your weapon?"
Radley sighed and nodded. He produced his broken Axe.
"Adrian suggested that we should replace the handle with Roselium. Rosarium is a pretty common metal on this continent, but it will still cost you a pretty penny."
Radley didn't like where this was going. William continued, "Because you are someone my brother referred too. I will get it done for…750, how does that sound?"
Wait, what. That is actually pretty reasonable, "Yeah, thanks. I was expecting a pretty outlandish price."
"Well, I already have a piece that would be perfect. So I'm, not doing all that much. If I were to get you a brand new one that would have cost you about five thousand."
"Okay, I will take it."
"Excellent. I can also get your armor done. My wife is a leatherworker see."
"How much?"
"For the whole shebang. I would say about…Three thousand five hundred. I have already taken into account the amount of material you would need. That would bring the grand total to…5419 dollars and 70 cents."
There was way more money left than he antic.i.p.ated, "Could you through in some rope, a water filtration system and some camping gear."
"Ha, you actually listened to my daughter. Very well. The camping gear would be about 2000. The filtration system about 750 and the rope about fifty. That will leave you with 2619 dollars and 70 cents."
Radley smiled, "Great."
"Why don't you come by tomorrow. Everything should be done by then."
Radley removed all his gear and received the money. He kept his leather short on as well as his shirt.
Adrian gave him a questioning look, "Is that all you have to wear?"
"Yes, unfortunately, and I have no intention of buying more stuff. I need to be frugal with my money."
Adrian wrapped his arm around him, "Well you will probably need a place to stay. You see, my wife runs a little tavern on the east side. Because you are my guest I will charge you fifty dollars that include food. Won't get a better deal than that, I'm afraid."
Radley smiled and nodded. He just had his trusty wallet on him, which was prop full of cash now.
He turned around and waited at the door. Adrian hugged his brother and said, "You guys better be careful. There are rumors in east town that there might be a raid."
William sighed, "When will this end. I am getting tired of this. A man would swear we are uncivilized."
Adrian walked with Radley out the door, "You know you are going to become the laughing stock our humble little town."
Radley shrugged, "I ain't here to impress anyone."
"Bit late for that one don't you think?"
They luckily crossed the bridge without incident except for the occasional chuckle due to Radley's attire.
They finally arrived at the tavern when a popup suddenly came. Secondary quest accomplished: 1000 Invo points, 5 Diff points. Yes, he had exactly enough points to buy the next upgrade for his basic a.n.a.lysis.
