THE MORNING OF DEPARTURE

A few days have pa.s.sed since we came back to Pioneer City. Meanwhile, Rinne and I were walking around the city for sightseeing⸺err, an adventure. We went to the fort that's adjacent to an unexplored area nearby and while sightseeing, we defeated some magic beasts that suddenly attacked us. I think I spent a fulfilling day in the Pioneer City as I was able to receive some reward by selling the magic stones I acquired to the Alchemy Atelier. And then, this early in the morning, I was looking down on a map at a coffee shop on the first floor of the inn while eating breakfast with Rinne.

「Hmm, we've seen all the best place that's been written in the letter. We can leave this city in the afternoon, Rinne.」

「You're right, sensei. I really enjoyed walking around this city. Which city do you want to go next?」

「Hmm, it's best to go to south at this time of the year. The distance from here is quite close and we can quickly journey just as we see it in the map. Is there any place you want to go to Rinne?」

「I want to go wherever sensei wants to go.」
