「Why is it here… it's rank is certainly above the lesser spirit's⸺the difficulty of this quest isn't D-Cla.s.s, it should be B-Cla.s.s or higher!」

Dominic was lost in his words as he witnessed the higher spirit transform from it's egg-shaped figure to a humanoid form right in front of him. There are spirits who changes their forms after their sleep so perhaps, this higher spirit was a dormat spirit. In a dormant state, the spirit's magic powers were suppressed that must be why the guild's scout observed it, they judged it's rank just above a lesser spirit.

We need a magician with Rank B or higher magic power to fight the higher spirit. But if they want to subjugate it, it wouldn't be possible with just a Rank A magician, they need a stronger magician that can rival it's magic powers.
