Both Cliff and Ingrid kissed their son before he emerged from the car. The people who saw where Clark came out bring to a standstill what they're doing and stared at their direction.

Some of the men whistled at the sight of the luxurious black cars as though they're seeing a s.e.xy lady. Clifford did not took notice of what's happening outside because he's busy looking over his macbook.

They slowly drove away while the other car remained for Clark's use. However, that left Ingrid uneasy.

"Cliff, isn't it too flashy for Clark to arrive at school using one of your luxurious cars?" Ingrid asked her husband with concern as she notices the stares of the people outside.

Clifford moved his gaze to his wife. "Hmm… Why do you think so?"

Ingrid bit her lower lip before she answered. "I've notice some strange stares at our son and the car, it really makes me feel uneasy… especially having two bodyguards. Are we even practical?"

Clifford chuckled. "Oh love, you don't have to worry about those. After what happened, I couldn't be at ease. That's why I specifically chose that car because it's bulletproof. It gives me some cool state of mind knowing my son will be safe even if we're not around. Besides, all I have are yours and Clark's."

Ingrid did not protest but then she's still not convinced or maybe she's not used to living such luxurious life. Clifford squeezed her hand to a.s.sure her of uncertainty.

The car stopped in front of the company. Clifford emerged first to open the car door for his wife. He extended his hand to a.s.sist her as she comes out from the car.

"Is that really necessary?" she whispered.

"Yup, this is, from this day onwards…"

"But we haven't made some public statements–" Ingrid wanted to thrust away her husband's hand for fear that someone may post any malicious article again, but Clifford said the opposite.

"No buts, my love, I'm your husband now. Let other people think what they ought to think. We'll just plan some ways in announcing our marriage."

Ingrid takes hold of her husband's hands and they entered the company holding each other's hands.

"Hey! Look! Isn't that Mr. Briggs and Miss Howard? My, my! They're holding hands…" one of the receptionists announced.

All of those who heard her stopped on their tracks and stared at the entrance of the company. They're all astounded. The two looked strikingly stunning as they walk to the elevator, not minding the strange stares they get from their employees.

Clifford's gait is sure and confident as his hand clasps to Ingrid's who walks as though it's not a big deal for her. What surprises them more is the air that the two is showing. They're both confident that what they're showing just now is the most normal thing to do and that as though they've done it for so long now.

One of them female employee could not stop herself from nudging her co-worker.

"Am I the only one who notices that there's something fishy going on with our bosses? Look at the atmosphere they're giving us. I couldn't explain it. It gives me warm feeling, I feel giddy and excited over something good at the same time, like I have some b.u.t.terfly in my stomach. What is happening?"

"Ye-yeah, me too…" her co-worker agreed while her gaze is still locked on the couple. "…and they look in love… and you're right! What's happening?!"

Without delay, the news did not miss Freya and Daisy's hearing.

"Gosh, Daisy! Do you really have no idea what's happening with your boss' personal life? Is she dating our CEO?" Freya wanted to scold Daisy for being so nonchalant with the news.

"Sorry to disappoint you, Freya, but I'm not really good in that aspect.." though Daisy really wanted to know, too, but she could not find the courage to ask her boss.

"Hmmp!" Freya stood up and left Daisy.

The couple have no idea that by their simple gesture they are making huge waves within the company. As they stepped on the elevator for the CEO's use only, someone shouted while running.

"Hey! Wait up…!" the employees are all shocked when the man entered the elevator and almost pushed the bosses. The couple was baffled by the sudden appearance of this man and to the point that they're almost pushed aside.

"I'm so sorry about that, I'm in a hurry because I'm almost late with my appointment. I'm just new here, y'know." The man said without even looking at them.

The man has an athletic build, tall and seems he's fresh from taking a bath after spending some time in the gym because he only wore a white sleeveless shirt, sweatpants, and carried a bag. He has a long hair with an undercut hairstyle, he ties it up and it appeared like a messy man bun look.

They could only look his back since the couple were almost pushed aside by the man.

"WHO ARE YOU?" Clifford's voice rings danger that it echoed within the elevator. Any of his employees would quiver at the sound of his irritated voice.

But the man did not shy away but confidently faced them.

"I'm–" the man trailed off when he become aware of whom he's talking to.

"SHELDON?!" Ingrid whispered and her eyes widen.

"Ingrid??!"
