Chapter 1854: Chapter 1854: Counting One by One, All Have Lost Their Lives
“Shut up!”
The Third Elder’s face was not looking good as his fierce gaze swept toward the disciple.
“Useless trash,” he cursed.
Indeed, to be defeated in the art of poisonous pills, which Poison Valley was most proficient in, by such a young fellow—how could he not be angry? Was there any dignity left for him not to let these people off?
Of course, what angered him even more was how the young fellow had so easily neutralized the poison he had administered.
How embarra.s.sing, it had hurt his pride. As the mighty Third Elder of Poison Valley, even the Valley Master would yield three points of respect to him. When had he ever faced such humiliation?
“Young man, where are you from? And where did you get those medicinal pills?”
“What’s it to you?”
Xie Qi was not the least bit courteous in his reply.
ReadNovelFull.comGiven the Third Elder’s manner, he was clearly not someone easy to deal with, was he? Did he really think that if he told the old man where he got his medicinal pills, he would let him go?
Don’t even think about it.
Didn’t he see the Poison Valley Disciples lying on the ground, yet the Third Elder’s expression remained unchanged, speaking indifferently to him? It was clear that the old man didn’t care at all about the lives of those disciples.
“Seeking death!”
The Third Elder, having been insulted, was instantly enraged.
He had initially thought to spare the young man for the sake of the medicinal pills, but now it seemed unnecessary.
With a powerful sweep of his wide sleeves, he launched an attack on Xie Qi, ready to kill him in one strike and thus a.s.sert his ability and reestablish his authority before his disciples.
“Young Master Xie, be careful!”
Zheng Qi shouted a warning when he saw the Third Elder move.
But he and Zhong Yue were already struggling to protect themselves. In terms of cultivation level, how could they possibly match the Third Elder, an old man who had lived a great many years?
They were completely overpowered, without even the strength to fight back.
“You really think I can be bullied?”
Xie Qi was not about to let himself be controlled. He frantically pulled out medicinal pills from his bag as if they cost nothing, and in the blink of an eye, he had thrown no fewer than three types of poisons in the direction of the Third Elder.
The Third Elder dodged twice but still got hit by one of the poisons. Fuming with anger, he was merciless with his movements.
“d.a.m.nable thing, your life ends now!”
Having been poisoned, he no longer cared about anything else and charged straight at Xie Qi.
Just as his hand was about to grasp Xie Qi’s throat, and Xie Qi’s eyes widened, bracing for that moment to be choked, a ma.s.sive pressure suddenly descended from mid-air.
Flowers and gra.s.s around the spot where they were standing were crushed and bent over.
“Puh!”
Sounds of vomiting blood could be heard.
The Poison Valley Disciples who had been poisoned were pressed down so hard they vomited blood. Without exception, each one of them lost their lives.
The Third Elder’s hand, just an inch away from Xie Qi, was suddenly unable to move forward, although just one more step would have ended Xie Qi’s life.
He tried to exert force to break through this oppressive feeling but to no avail.
“My lord!”
Xie Qi looked up and saw Qian Jiyun descending slowly from on high and standing not far from him.
He quickly ran over to him.
Zheng Qi and Zhong Yue followed suit, and as they pa.s.sed the Third Elder, both saw the veins throbbing on his forehead and his red-faced expression of vexation.
“You can’t even deal with this kind of person?” Qian Jiyun asked him coldly.
