Right now I'm all dressed up with the garment that my new maid slash guard has prepared. It's a long male dress with a belt tied in the middle, both in the colour of pale blue and pink. The colour look nice, even if it was a tad feminine to my taste. I let out a small smile and give the smiling maid a nod.

Putting the tray on the table, she guide me to the vanity table. It was the first time I'm seeing myself in this new body. While it is breathtaking, with pale, porcelain smooth skin, a striking blue eyes pair with crescent shaped brows and lush ruby lips, it have no resemblance whatsoever with my original face, and this makes me a bit regretful. All of the sudden, my thoughts flies to my life from the past.

A handsome prince was standing at the door, just outside the chamber, watching a maid donning up his Consort's hair. What intrigued him was the look on his Consort's face, lonely and distance. All of a sudden, his heart clench in pain as he sees such expression.

The Consort in question is thinking about his sisters and his friends back in his original life. He was wondering if any of them mourned his death when the maid excitedly claimed that he looks so beautiful with his new do.

Jae Hee look up in the mirror, wanting to see it himself when he notice, on the reflection, the Prince that he need to entice is standing behind and is staring back at him. Startled by this, he briskly stands up and turn around, accidentally knocking the poor maid down.

"Ah! Xiao Er, I'm sorry."

A sudden chuckle, coming from the Prince's mouth freezes all movement in the room. Noticing his act, he revert back to his normal facial expression and enters the chamber.

"Consort, I'm glad you are awake. How are you feeling?"

The maid have scrambled back on her feet and is standing a few step behind the Consort, bowing in respect. Blinking blankly, unknowingly creating a cute bunny image in a certain man's heart, Jae Hee's thought is running around, trying to find the best way to act in front of his husband, the Prince.

"Your Highness," he starts with a bow, "Thank you for your attention. I'm well now."

The chamber went silent for a while until a grumbling sound can be heard. The Consort's face turns red after realizing he is the source of such sound. Pulling down his head, trying to hide his embarra.s.sment, he fail to notice the warm smile on his husband's face.

"Come, my Consort. I'll join you for breakfast."

The Prince hold out his hand, making the Consort look up. Clearly dumbfounded with such event, the Prince step forward and grab a hold on his Consort's right hand, albeit gently, before tugging him to the table.

The piping hot breakfast has turn slightly warm by now, but, with steams that still lingers visibly above it, it looks much more appetizing. Especially towards a certain man that have fallen asleep without his dinner last night.

Jae Hee is practically salivating upon seeing the bowl of congee, serve with fresh scallion and some fried shallot. There are also freshly fried yutiao and a bowl of warm soy tofu. He almost pounce at the table, until he finally realized, his hand is still within the Prince grasp.

The handsome man let out a small chuckle, thinking how cute his newly wedded bride is acting. His heart is tickling as he saw the blush spread along his Consort's cheeks. The Prince then guide his bried to sit at the table before taking a seat beside him, but not before discreetly dismissing his shadow guard.

"Let's eat, my Consort."

Waaa... What happen here?

What am I doing? Did I just blush in front of the Prince? Why does my heart jumping around? Am I getting sick? Why it is so hot in here? Doesn't the system say it's winter now?

"Host, you are staring for too long."

I hastily blink and turn my gaze back to the table. I can see the Prince's smile. Argh, he must thinks I'm nuts. Jae, focus. Now it's time to eat. But...

"Your Highness... my- my hand."

I put my gaze on my hand, that was still in his grasp, unwilling to look at him again. A shiver run through my spine when his thumb brush the back of my hand, before releasing it.

Pulling back my hand, I instantly take the spoon on the table and scoop a mouthful of congee. Ah, the taste is a pure bliss. I'm not sure what they put inside it, but it is scrumptious.

"Host, aren't you forgetting something? Someone?"

Erk...

Awkwardly, me, being on my third scoop of congee, have to let my hand hang up in the air, glancing at a certain man that was now watching me eat. Prompting his elbow on the table, he lean his head upon it and stare at me, with a smile.

"Zero Three, why is the Prince smiling goofily like that? Didn't you tell me he is cold hearted?"

"..."

"What's wrong, my Consort? Is the meal not to your satisfaction? This Prince can ask the maid to replace it."

I didn't realize I'm staring, again. Since my system is not responding, I need to handle him by myself.

Sensing that the Prince is getting up, I stop him by reflect, taking a hold on his sleeve. His gaze falls on my hand, before turning it to me, as I hastily remove my hand from him.

"I... erm... you- ah, have... have you eaten, Your Highness? I only have... this... this one serving. Should I... Should I call for more?"

Argh.... Why am I stuttering like an idiot?

The Prince silently enjoy the pink blush that starts to taint his bride pale cheeks. He is having a hard time controlling himself from brushing his fingers upon it. He turn his eyes toward the pale ger ruby lips, adoring every sentence that come out from it, without hearing anything.

At the same time, in our soul-changed Consort's head, an announcement suddenly pop.
