The door opened to the courtyard and a small little maid about 16 years old walked in. "Young master Qin Lan, the lord requests your audience." the maid said humbly.

They finally arrived in front of a large wooden door that had been eloquently carved, and had a dim light glowing from the cracks between the door and the floor.

Qin Lan walked in the room pushing open the door slowly while it creaked. He saw a cold looking man sitting in a chair staring at him.

"Father? You wanted to see me?"said Qin Lan puzzled about what his father wants.

"Yes, I have decided to let you go onto the wilderness, and hunt. A true warrior has to have life or death battles to grow strong."

Qin Lan could barely contain his excitement, he had been waiting for this moment for years.

"I will send an elite hunting squad with you, because after all in the future you will become the pillar of the family, and we can't have you dying on us, now can we?" Qin Lans father said with his eyebrows raised, and his cold eyes seemed like they pierced into his soul.

"Yes father" Qin Lan said as he got chills run down his spine.

"You will set out tomorrow morning and hunt some magical beasts in the forest."

Qin Lan saw a magical beast War-hog. Qin Lan jumped down into the hogs territory. The hog turned its head around abruptly, enraged that a mere human dared to trespa.s.s on its territory, enraged the hog ran towards Qin Lan who just sighed and said "The dumb animals get enraged so easily."

as the hog was about to hit qin lan he swiftly dodged, at the same time bringing his sword down onto its neck.

The blade got stopped by the hogs powerful muscles. The hog now truly enraged turned around and ran. Qin Lan just grinned "Seems like i'll have to use this move after all." He filled his blade with his Qi and his blade started glowing a dim blue. At that moment the hog turned around and charged at Qin Lan, while Qin Lan was charging at the hog.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Their paths met, and a dim blue glow could be seen as a light flashed through the hogs neck. At the same time one of the hogs huge tusks cut across Qin Lans chest.

The head of the hog flew off and a geyser of crimson blood sprayed out of its neck lying the ground red with blood.

The hunters watching this were all shocked. "So this is a legendary warrior!" "I never imagined they were so powerful!" A myriad of praise could be heard for Qin Lan.
