“P226, 40S&W caliber. Oh, even equipped with night vision sights.”
The P226 pistol was made in the United States. With good performance and low price, it is the favorite amongst SEALs and multinational special forces. The .40 caliber P226 can be switched to 9mm and .357Sig barrels, but the barrel cannot be changed for P226s with the 9mm barrel. However, the rear force control feels better with the 9mm.
This gun sells well in some oil refinery countries in the Middle East, where it is rich and war-torn. Su Bai's knowledge of Tang Xiao increased. Tang Xiao probably cooperates mainly with the United States, and always been smuggling arms to the Middle East.
Su Bai skillfully loaded the gun, aimed at the target and pulled the trigger.
Fifteen rounds of bullets were fired, eleven of them were hitting the chest, four of them deviated a little. Compared to Master Su's best performance, it was still not as good. For a body that has never touched a gun before, it was already very good. However, what Su Bai wanted was not “very good” but “perfect”.
“Would you like to try this?” Hair combed back to reveal knife-cut features, wearing long trousers and a waistcoat, Tang Xiao looked like a British aristocrat; round table, propped umbrella, strong coffee on the table with exquisite desserts.
Of course, there were also cigars and smoking pipes.
As if to attract Su Bai's attention, Tang Xiao smiled and pointed his FP-45 liberator pistol, which looked like a little bee, at Su Bai.
Ignoring Tang Xiao's ‘joke', Master Su put the P226 in his hand on the table, and took the pot and poured himself a cup of pure black coffee. He sat down on the chair.
“Can't believe it's a Deer Gun. I thought those CIA fools in the United States had destroyed all these cute little guys after the Vietnam War. Can they still be used?” Su Bai glanced at the small hairdryer-looking pistol in Tang Xiao's hand and drank a cup of coffee. The bitter taste filled his lips and seeped through his teeth.
“Of course.” Tang Xiao remained in his position on the chair and fired several shots in the direction of the target. The action was natural and smooth, with a sophisticated taste.
Su Bai's brows furrowed. The coffee was extremely bitter. He picked up a small star-shaped dessert and stuffed it into his mouth. The sweet but not greasy taste diluted the bitterness of the coffee. He felt much better.
“You can take it back and play with it if you'd like.” Tang Xiao turned around and handed the mini version of the ‘hairdryer' to Su Bai.
“Why are you looking for Simon D?” Su Bai fills the pipe skillfully. Everyone will be influenced by some people in some hobbies. Master Su remembered that when he was a child, his parents died early, so he was held in the arms of his grandfather.
At the age of four to five, other children were still crawling on the ground and building with blocks. Our little Su Bai was already sitting on the expensive carpet playing with guns, taking them apart and a.s.sembling them again. Su Bai's grandfather liked to lean against the chair, occasionally drank a big gla.s.s of Red Robe. Smoking on a pipe high above, the smell of the smoke gun was strong, but no one dared to say anything about it.
Little Su Bai occasionally looked at Grandpa's back, thinking that one day he too would sit on Grandpa's seat and smoke a cigarette pipe. This idea was buried in Su Bai's heart like a planted seed, all the way until little Su Bai was called “Master Su”, where he sat on his grandfather's seat, holding a white jade pipe in his hand.
“He has a microchip in his hands.” Tang Xiao lit a cigar and started to smoke together with Su Bai. Fortunately, it was not a closed room, and the wind blew the heavy smoke away.
“What chip?” Su Bai, who had been away from the path for too long, apparently missed out on some of the latest news.
“A division leader of T, the world's largest mercenary organization, died. Simon D accepted a client's commission to kill him. Unfortunately, Simon found a computer chip from the man's pile of possessions. Simon claimed that the chip contained clues to the ident.i.ty of the top leader of T, the mercenary organization.”
Tang Xiao looked at Su Bai, who seemed calm on the surface. “I want that chip, but I'm not sure Simon will sell it to me.”
T's top leader's status has always been a mystery. n.o.body knows whether he was a man or a woman except his code name, T. Given that T has worked secretly with many countries and special organizations, there would be a lot of people who wanted to know exactly how sacred T's top leader was. There are many who want to use T's real ident.i.ty to threaten the world's largest mercenary organization. There are also many people who have been targets of the mercenaries who want to kill T himself.
“I wonder with what reason do you want that chip.” Master Su gently tapped the cigar pipe on the table.
Tang Xiao narrowed his eyes. There was a deep blue that reflected in his eyes in the sunshine. He took a heavy breath of cigar and smoke spilled from his thin lips.
“They killed my fiancee.”
“Master Su, if you have ever loved someone deeply, you will understand why I must find Simon D and get that chip.” The pain in his eyes flew away in a flash.
Ever loved someone? Master Su lowered his head and took another sip of coffee, still bitter and astringent.
“You asked me before, why even though I had a good relationship with Ye Ziwu's several elders, yet Ye Ziwu always liked to trouble me. He seemed to follow me like a dog wherever I went.”
Tang Xiao looked up at Su Bai. “I thought you would not tell me, at least not so soon.”
Master Su squinted at the green hills bathed in the distant sunshine, as if he saw the beautiful child in a long gown and Tang suit, holding a folding fan in his hand and humming a tune, as if he had stepped out of a painting.
“He was a good child, but he almost shot me in the heart.” Su Bai patted himself gently on the chest. The gun failed to hit his heart, but pierced his lungs.
Su Bai's cigarette gun pointed to the Deer Gun that Tang Xiao put on the table and said in a plain tone, “With this insignificant little fellow.”
“What's his name?”
“Lin Fan, Ye Ziwu's first love.” Speaking of this, Master Su could not help but laugh and said ironically, “Lin Fan was an undercover spy. Even so, he died because of me. Ye Ziwu wants to avenge his first love.”
Yet just a month ago, Ye Ziwu kindly called him “Mr. Su.” If there was no such thing as Lin Fan, maybe he and Ye Ziwu would be good friends. Both Lin Fan and Ye Ziwu had the sunshine and vitality that Su Bai yearned for.
“Unexpected that Tang Zhong is a man with deep feelings.”
“In every man's heart, there will always be a special place for a special person.”
“What information does Tang always have about Simon?” Su Bai decided to pull back the topic. There was an indescribable strangeness with two elder gentlemen sitting here grieving for spring and autumn.
“Simon just let out the news that he didn't need money. He was willing to hand in the chip as long as anyone could provide an item that interested him.” Tang Xiao furrowed his brows slightly. “The problem is that he doesn't want to tell anyone what it is he wants.”
“I need to go back and sort out my thoughts.”
