Early morning fog have not yet dissipated, morning dew on the tip of the forest floor was densely moist. Occasional partridge chirping call makes the quiet deep woodlands more terrifying. There was a remote and unusual village inside, its road connecting to the government lane*. It was a shortcut, but it was too remote so few people knows about it. But at this moment, a small squadron of troops on horse traverse this road to hasten their travel, all the while riding cautiously and protecting a s.p.a.cious but ordinary looking cart on all sides.

“Sha Sha” A loud rustling noise burst forth ahead in the jungle, then a flock of crows flew away from the branches like a rocket. The Imperial guards quickly reigned their horses. They unsheathed their swords from their belts, attentively watching the forest in front in vigilance.
“Hey! You d.a.m.n mongrels, why did you stop again? Do you want knock your highness down?” A young n.o.bility of approximately 17 – 18 years old opened the carriage door while stroking his tiny redden forehead, his eyes wide open, and his face scrunched up as he furiously yelled.
Only visible to see is a golden crown imbued with precious jades. On his body was a cream coloured silk robe, with a dark reddish purple sash tied on his waist. On his feet are padded gold coloured shoes. A very wealthy and intimidating young man with an expression of arrogance and tyranny that makes other not dare to express admiration.

“Your highness, something is strange up ahead, I’m afraid there’s an ambush.” The captain of the imperial guard respectfully reported.
“Nonsense! You already said the same thing ten seconds ago. How is this one a real ambush?” The young man furiously reprimanded.
“Subordinate awaits his punishment.” The imperial guard panickly accepts his fault.
“Of course you should be punished. If only able to, your highness will right away behead you. Still not departing quickly?”
“As you command, but his majesty still needs to be very careful….” The imperial guard mumbles.
“That’s right! Your majesty.” The other imperial guards repeated like a parrot.
“Such courage, do you all want to disobey?” The young man was enrage to no end.

This young man, is a prince of the a current dynasty, in addition he is a potential heir to the throne. He is a little rebellious to his parents, thus he was p.r.o.ne in attracting the misfortune of a.s.sa.s.sination for his life. Moreover, the route they now took to retreat is decided by a high ranking military officer. With no other way, the imperial guards had no choice but to proceed with their horses, continuing forward…

dash;—-” Startled horses lifted their front hoofs and stood backwards. A fully armed soldiers from Chu Jing Kingdom jumps out and to block the forest. More men gathered and surrounded them.
The imperial guards rapidly took out their weapons and lead the horse’s head, tightly closing in on the cart to protect it.
“You b.a.s.t.a.r.ds, your highness will surely cut you all down….” the young man extended his head out while swearing, only to see the dire situation where all daggers are drawn. He was scared witless and went mute, then shrink his head back in, and soon after speaks while trembling in fear, “Po-Protect the cart, and quickly kill them all, your highness will reward you an awful lot of money, a-as well as women….”
“Clang” the battle has already started, and the imperial guards are too busy to hear his nonsense.
The captain of the guards carried the young prince on his shoulder, not caring if he had offended his liege. He then placed the prince on a horseback, while deflecting attacks from his side with his double edge sword. He ordered his companions at his side: “Everyone, counterattack!——“
The scene was an utter chaos. The young prince was frightened till his complexion turned pale, a sharp slash of air came from the back of his ears. How could a pampered and well protected prince not tremble in fear?
Even if these imperial guards martial arts are not weak, they were outnumbered and is quickly falling in disadvantage.
With a painful groan, the imperial guards behind the prince was wounded once again. But after a long time having sword strikes at their neck, they finally declared —— The rescue mission failed!
