Chapter 84: Gap instance

There was no then. The Qi sphere in Lu Ping's hand had exploded again.

He bitterly looked at Chu Min.

It was another morning of his cultivation. The big Qi sphere became small, but it was not enough for advancement.

"Imagine, how do I need to imagine?" Lu Ping asked Chu Min.

"Imagine... and imagination process..." Chu Min said. She exposed her ability to express in her personal rude style. The content she described was quite vague.

"Because I couldn't do it." Chu Min answered.

"What?"

"His real power is so difficult to extract. Execution will lock his Power of soul. Even if I interfere, I would only harm him. I can't do it. " Chu Min said.

"You expect him to do an impossible thing by himself."

"Precisely"-Answered Chu Min to Xi Fan

"Well then, he needs to work hard."

Lu Ping looked at his hand disappointedly. He needed to try again, and again and again. There is no other way of accomplishing it!

If there was no other way, then he should try again and again, until the day he finally would complete this training.

Lu Ping thought about it and once again concentrated his Power of Soul.

He had found a gap to steal the Power of Soul from his Soul locking. He learned this skill in Zhai Feng school in the past.

During his first year in Zhai Feng, Lu Ping was an outsider in everything that was related to Power of Soul. He couldn't sense it at all. His body had no Power of Soul.

At first, he tried to find a teacher that could help him, but he failed. He quickly became the person with worst qualification in the whole Zhai Feng School. Lu Ping gave up this attempt and began to search for the method he should use himself. He became a useless student for the teacher. But he was hardworking.

Lu Ping did not care about people; he began his attempts of removing the Soul Lock. After constantly exploring his soul, and precepting it countless times, Lu Ping finally found a little gap in it.

He felt an unstoppable magical force floating through this gap! He never felt anything so powerful. However, it was just for a couple of seconds, and after that, the Power of Soul was gone again. . .

However, Lu Ping saw hope. He began to play hide-and-seek with this "Gap". He tried to find a way of unlocking this "gap" whenever he needed. And each time he was unlocking it, the small amount of Power of Soul has been absorbed by Lu Ping.

The number of times when the gap was opened increased, and the number of attempts to unlock it completely increased as well.

But Lu Ping always failed to extract the energy.

The gap was appearing for a short time-couple of seconds, only for a moment, there was no time to take out any energy. Lu Ping tried all the ways to control the Power of Soul, but it didn't work. It was too slow, too slow.

It took a whole year.

It took a whole year until Lu Ping finally succeeded.

Although the gap was unsustainable, Lu Ping was able to extract some of his Power of Soul once per ten times of his training.

It was not a lot of Power of Soul energy, but it was better than nothing!

This fact made Lu Ping feel excited and satisfied. Although, at that time, he had become the "Outcast of Zhai Feng school", it was his first grade. And attempting such a tricky training was equivalent to mastering the whole Six Soul Essences for other students!

With this successful experience, the progress will be faster and faster.

The second year was over, and Lu Ping`s Gap "hide-and-seek" game had become "hand-in-hand" cooperation, He was able to open the gap whenever he needed it. And the number of successes in Power of Soul extracting had increased.

The constant exploration of his body and soul made Lu Ping more and more aware of his own power. In the third year, he began to look for other ways of extracting his Power of Soul through the gap, such as: uninterrupted extracting and stealing Power of Soul from other sources as well.

In theory, he could possibly illuminate the Soul Lock!

But the attempt in that direction ended in failure. No matter, how many gaps Lu Ping was opening, it was just a gap. Gaps were closing no matter what, so Lu Ping was not able to collect and save enough Power of Soul.
