  He hadn’t asked for clarity earlier since he wanted to avoid Fu Cao’s request, lest she force him to eat Dongpo meat again . However, he had a rough idea in his mind about what Fu Cao meant when she talked about full sleeved clothes .

    Everyone kept  some hidden cards to themselves . Zhang Zhongmin had long since discovered that Fu Cao seemed to know a lot of things .

Every time she brought down a pile of stuff from upstairs, he could feel something was fishy . Based on his observation, the area upstairs wasn’t that big,  includingFu Cao who slept upstairs . From the beginning to  present, what was  delivered to the school had long exceeded the amount that  could be accommodated upstairs .

    Zhang Zhongmin also understood that Fu Cao had no ill will towards them . Otherwise, when they were surrounded by zombies, Fu Cao wouldn’t have come to their aid .

    Although she didn’t really stand out , if not for her help, Zhang Zhongmin wondered if the people staying inside the school could still be so lucky to be alive and kicking .

    Zhang Zhongmin gave a report   of what happened at the restaurant to Lu Xuan .

   Because she  exerted her spiritual force outside the school, she could not feel his presence until Lu Xuan walked to the door .

    She revealed a sweet smile, ”What brings you here? Not training anymore?”

    Every time he saw Fu Cao smiling, Lu Xuan’s eyes would always fall uncontrollably on the dimples and pearly white teeth at the corner of Fu Cao’s mouth . He nodded, “Um, yes . I have something I’d like to ask you . ”

    With a quick glance, Fu Cao quickly ran into the kitchen, and took out the plate of meat from the s.p.a.ce . She pretended to serve it as if she took it right out of the pot .

   Placing the plate, she then drew out one side of the chopsticks and put it down in front of Lu Xuan: “Here, here, try it first . ”

    She smiled narrowly as she looked at Lu Xun with great antic.i.p.ation in her eyes .

    He peered at the vibrant looking, fragrant dongpo meat and Zhang Zhongmin’s words came to Lu Xuan’s mind . He could tell that when he warned him, he was very nervous, so what was it about this thing that made Zhang Zhangmin so scared?

    But even with Zhang Zhongmin’s instruction when Lu Xun looked at Fu Cao’s expectant eyes, nevertheless he still picked up the fatty, lean piece of the dongpo meat with chopsticks and took a small bite .

    It was fatty but not mushy, the meat was a little firm, maybe because it had been stewed for so long, he almost bit it off with a light bite, meanwhile the stew was also very smooth .

    Fu Cao had worked exactly according to the proportions mentioned in the recipe, the standard simply cannot be the standard anymore . She was about as sophisticated as a culinary master .

    The Dongpo meat made by Fu Cao only had four pieces, but those four pieces were not small at all . Although he chewed slowly, the food vanished fast . He also drank the instant noodle soup without leaving anything .

    “Have you eaten enough?” Fu Cao looked at Lu Xuan and thought it would have been better if she added an egg to his bowl just now . In  her opinion, this much food was more than enough for a young adult, but what she didn’t expect was for Lu Xuan to actually finish it completely .

    After he came to his senses, Lu Xuan found out that all he had been doing was gulping down everything with his head low in one swoop . He didn’t even know when Fu Cao sat across from him and started staring at him with her shining eyes .

    He ate everything here by himself while she didn’t even get to eat anything at all! 

    He blushed in embarra.s.sment and said, “Yeah and sorry…… . ”

    Fu Cao laughed: ”What are you sorry for? I’m so glad you ate everything so happily, but remember it was only free for this time, so next time you want to eat, I’ll charge you with the crystal nuclei . By the way, what did you want to ask me about?”

    His eyes darkened and Zhang Zhongmin roared angrily, ”Where are your ears!? Didn’t I tell you not to eat, NOT TO EAT ANYTHING SHE GIVES? Why did you still eat? Are you a starving ghost who’ll eat anything he is given . If not he’ll die, you…!!”

    “……………………………… . . ” He felt his ear drums blasting . Lu Xun looked at Zhang Zhongmin: ”Why can’t you eat? Fu Cao is not an outsider, if it wasn’t for her I would have died a long time ago, how could you think that she will harm me?”

    “She, Fu Cao has always exchanged grain only for crystal nuclei, and now she is suddenly giving it to you to eat it for free . Don’t you find it strange? And she even said she’d send us clothes as soon as we ate them, isn’t that even weirder, do you get it?”

    His words were not just a mere compliment, but he meant what he said . It was the best Dongpo meat he had ever eaten in his life and though he ate it till he was full, Lu Xuan felt that if another plate was given to him, it could still settle cleanly in his stomach .

    “…… . ” Zhang Zhongmin also felt that Fu Cao couldn’t possibly harm them, but the main thing was that Fu Cao’s actions today had been too strange . He couldn’t help but be vigilant and suspicious .

    Although, Zhang Zhongmin still had some doubts about the truthfulness in Lu Xuan’s words . In the end, he still felt a little heartbroken hearing his tone .
