He did not expect her to grab and forcefully absorb his flames. When he thought what just happened, he regretted coming this close.

In fact, he did not need to show his entire form, he could just speak with her in this s.p.a.ce and he could have just given her the small portion of his flame. But alas, he was stupid to let his guards down.

On the other hand, a demon fire can never pick his host. This was the curse placed by the heavens to their tribe. They can choose not to help their host like what the demon fire inside Aurora did but once they let their host die, they will just be transferred to another one and to another one and to another one.

This phenomenon is considered normal for them, but once they found a good host, like the Demon Lord, then they would certainly help him become powerful so he can challenge the heavens and release them from this curse.

However, on Aurora's case, the demon fire didn't try to help her because he thought she's a good seedling. He only did this because he felt his little brother's presence nearby. Also, because of the presence of spirit power and elements, this was the world with the most potential to challenge the heavens.

Five seconds... Ten seconds... Fifteen seconds... The last stupid human he remembered to try to absorb him only lasted this long.

Forty-five... All he could hear was Aurora shouting in pain.

"Th-this... this is bad for me." before he could utter another word, there was a force that took away his dark flames and he turned to a human shape. Then, countless chains slowly appeared and bound him.

"Y-you, you turned me to a mere human? You bi... aaaahrrgh!!!" he wanted to curse Aurora but the chains tightened.

For a proud demon fire who looked down on humans, it was a great humilation for him to be like this.

He noticed that whenever he wanted to curse or say bad things to Aurora, for some reason, the chains will detect it and will instantaneously tighten.

In reality, it was only a few seconds outside since Aurora completely turned to ice and Ren Shui and the Zhongguo Alliance left but inside the white s.p.a.ce, the time was like five times longer.

It specially felt longer for Aurora when she forcefully absorbed the demon fire. The pain she felt was unbelievable. It was like she accidentally drank lava and its burning her bones and organs.

She wanted to shout, "Whether you like it or not, your powers will be mine!!!". But because of the intense pain, what came out from her mouth was a roar.

A few seconds later, the pain subsided and she fell like a lump. She felt out of breath so other than heaving, she didn't move other parts of her body.

She smirked and spoke with the demon flame which is now bound by chains inside her, "You let us suffer from our enemies our entire life."

"Us?", the demon fire questioned her.

Suddenly, two figures appeared in front of him. No, it was two Auroras. One was looking at him with deep hatred but the other Aurora was naked and in a deep sleep. She was curled like a ball and has no signs of waking up.

"It was fine for you to just watch when we were in our previous world. But after we came to this unfamiliar world and were faced with multiple enemies, how were you able to just stay still?"

"You just watched from the sides and let those two guards humiliate us. You let those elders torture us however they want. You let people attack us...", after she spoke, she turned to the sleeping Aurora.

Her eyes became gentle and she carressed her cheeks. "You don't deserve these flames."

She turned back to face the demon fire. "Now, you will forever watch but your flames are now mine. You will suffer from those chains if you show any resistance. You will accompany her as I take my revenge outside."
