Although their grandfather is still alive he is in critical condition and there's no guarantee that he will wake up soon. If he does by then Qi Bai have already stabilized his position as the heir since her brother is still too young.

Qi Fan said while biting her nails as they arrived in her courtyard's receiving area. Qi Lei just stared at his sister before taking steps to leave but he heard another scream from her. "Qi Lei! You ungrateful b.a.s.t.a.r.d you shouldn't have been born if father didn't need a heir!"

Instead of walking towards Long Fu's gate Qi Lei went to Patriach Long's study and sees the housekeeper guarding it. "May I ask if Patriach Long will have few minutes to spare?"

"Let me check Young Master Qi." The housekeeper went inside the study and came out after few minutes. "Young Master Qi please..." the housekeeper respectfully gestured for Qi Lei to go inside the study room.

"Young Master Qi my condolences..." Patriach Long said as he gestured him to sit.

"Qi Lei you don't to ask for this as long as Qi Fan won't create troubles in Long Fu I will make sure that she is treated fairly."

When Qi Lei arrived at Qi Fu he was called by Qi Bai in the study. "Lei'er..." Qi Bai knows that Qi Lei isn't Qi Chang's son but always have a good impression of the boy.

Hearing no response from Qi Lei and seeing his shock expression Qi Bai can't help but chuckles. "Come on, let's go meet your mother and siblings they always wanted to have someone younger than them to pamper."

Qi Lei can only nod and follow as Qi Bai walks towards the main courtyard where his family moved.
