The Curious Play 56 The Hint!

A satisfied smiled curved in his lips, before leaving him in peace.

Along the way he'd meet his older brother, 

Tàizǐ dianxia. He saw him frowned but when his older brother saw him, his expression shifted. 

Now. .what he saw was a trace of victorious smiled that was plastered in his face.

"How was she?"

They both asked in chorus, Frowned and smiled afterwards.

"She's great!" Wu absentmindedly muttered.

"How would you like me to interpret it?" 

Tàizǐ asked him teasingly.

Wu chuckled. "That's defend on how you view things!" 

"Are you emphasizing that I don't  have such, experienced?"

"Have you?"

Wu asked his older brother in disbelief, he was known to be careful in woman. Not unless with his wife, Tàizǐ fēi.

"What do you think?" 

Was his reply, that made Wu laughed out lout! 

"Finally. .the great monk had gotten himself a G.o.ddess!"

They both laughed as they continued towards the dungeon were their younger brother Yu diànxià had summoned them.

When they reached in the dungeon, Yu diànxià and the leader of palace elite was already there, behind them was a woman. 

She was tied up in the chair, she was in a b.l.o.o.d.y mess and seems to be unconscious.

"What did you do to her?"

Tàizǐ diànxià asked Yu diànxià grimly.

"Her lips was d.a.m.n tight. .as so was she!" 

Both of the men groaned. They knew that Yu is the ruthless amongst them in handling captives, especially women!

"I think you just crossed the line!" Tàizǐ's

voice raised a bit, as he was controling his anger. 

"d.a.m.n it!" Yu cursed that made his two older brother look in each other. 

"She's just lucky I did not kill her!"

A smirked was form in his lips, the two men watched his face with a dark expression. There was a murderous aura in their younger brother that made them confused.

"How did you find her.?"

Yu suddenly looked at him, uncertain. He shook his head, before his facial expression finally calm down.

"Xin'er. !" 

The two men gasped. "She was with them, Ah'nuh diànxià was talking with Nana. .I mean Tàizǐ fēi, when she found this woman suspiciously!"

Yu sighed. "Xin'er already sense the danger as she could feel it everytime Tàizǐ fēi  . .

"How?" Wu asked confusedly.

"I don't know.!" Yu diànxià snapped, turning his back so they could not see his emotion.

"Xin'er is our sister!" 

They both turn arround when they heard Yan Jing's revelation, Wu diànxià gasped in surprised while Yu clenched his hand tightly.

"Xin'er is the biggest secret in our family!" Yan Jing gives a discreet laughed. 

"But she is our sister!"

"How did you know?" Yu diànxià asked him in surprised.

Yu diànxià already suspected it long before his brother, Tàizǐ diànxià had confirmed it, when he confronted duke yan.

There was something that common to all the members of Yan clan. .and it was genetic! 

Their grey eyes that like the last ashes of the fire.

"Xin'er was supposed to be the big Miss in our family, since Yue'er was an illegitimate child!" 

He said while nudging the woman's head. "But she was deprived with such!"

The three of them fell into a deep silence. Yan Jing voiced was calm but they had sense the danger that hides on it, He is a General after all. He was used to hides his real emotion in handling such crucial situation.

"Does Ye'er knew?" Tàizǐ asked him. "I a.s.sumed that your father already knew this?"

"It was known to him not long ago, but for Ye'er she doesn't have to know!"

"Why is that?" 

Yu asked him imperiously, Yan Jing glared at him. He was emphasizing that whatever relationship Yu had with Xin'er, he has a final word. The fact that the two girls is his sister, his family.

"You're putting the two of them in danger!"

He said meaningfully. "Xin'er has to be with Ye'er no matter what, protecting one of them is like protecting the others!"

"This is really. .a huge blow for us if someone else will knew this!" 

Tàizǐ diànxià concluded while Yu diànxià  fell into silence. If Xin'er has to be with Ye'er it means that she was bound to Ye'er till death?

He suddenly looked into his older brother's face blankly when he realized what just Yan Jing had said. .it means that Tàizǐ diànxià had to take Xin'er to be his concubine?

But Tàizǐ glared at him with a manner thats says "don't take me for a fool!" as he frowned to him.

But why Yan Jing suddenly spilled the beans to them, in this crucial situation? What was he up to.? Its not that he wanted to executes the woman, No need for such reason to do that! They will going to executes her, anyway.

Yan Jing must be hinting something, but what is it?

"Exactly.!" Yan Jing snapped, with a smile in his face. "Thats why this woman has to die!"

Tàizǐ gasped, he just realized that Yan Jing had cleverly manipulated them with out their knowledge. There was no enough reason for him to kill the woman but Yan Jing had provided it for them.

"Besides that she heard what we are talking, she also made a grave mistake,earlier.!" 

This time Yan Jing's expression darkened as he pulled the woman's hair up, she was awake with a wicked smile in her face. She was just pretending to be unconscious.

"She almost exposed the secrets of our family.!" 

The secret of their family? Yu thought, beside that Xin'er is his sister, what secret could that be?

Yan Jing's voice sound dreadful that makes the woman shivered in fear.

"You can do, whatever you want to do with her!" Tàizǐ diànxià said in approval. "Just make sure she'll sing a good song, before sending her down!"

Yan Jing smirked. "Hao!"

"Who do you think could do such despicable way to attacked you?"

Wu diànxià asked Tàizǐ diànxià after a while. Tàizǐ had made himself sit in the chair, with his usual posture. 

"Who ever he is, he should not be underestimated.! He answered lazily.

"He was clearly targeting me through Ah'nuh diànxià and Ye diànxià's presence was a divertion to confused us!"

"That someone had clearly plan everything ahead of time. .including the escaped goat as who's to be blame. If Ah'nuh diànxià was killed earlier, the blame should be shifted to Tàizǐ fēi. .and what about the northern prince?" 

Wu asked, he could not figure out what was the northern prince role in that foreplay.

"He wasn't a victim. .he was a decoy!" 

Tàizǐ said grimly. "Its either he was being fooled or he himself was a fool, but I rather believed the first one. .he's also caught between the struggle of the throne in their kingdom, he wont act rashly.!"

"Indeed!" Yan Jing interrupted. "But he was doubled crossed. .he was probably in some kind of bargaining, with that b.a.s.t.a.r.d. One thing he doesn't know was they meant to disposed him afterwards.!"

"Yan Jing de jiāngjūn was right.!" Tàizǐ snapped. "Disposing Ah'nuh diànxià and Ye diànxià will cost a great impact not only in me but to our kingdom, what will happened to us if we are attacked in both sides?"

"We will fall.!" Yan Jing said in a matter of fact, "That will most likely happened to you!" He warned him.

Tàizǐ starred at Yan Jing for a moment.

"That's correct!"He agreed. "But we could also lure the one behind this through him. .we just have to used someone as p.a.w.n!"

"Not Ye'er!" Yan Jing said imperiously, he was throwing a warning looked on him.

"Not one of my sisters!" 

"Not them!" He chuckles. "There's is someone else!"

He won't allow Ye'er to be a p.a.w.n in this dangerous game, though she was capable enough of turning the tables into a good side but it'll be dangerous for her knowing that the northern prince was smitten by her. 

and it was rather, too dangerous for the northern prince. .as he might end up on killing him,instead!

If his suspicion was correct then there is someone who is fit in this tasks.

"Spare Ah'nuh with your nonsense, Gē!" Wu said sourly, that makes Tàizǐ laughed out loud.

"Not Ah'nuh. !" He snapped. "We have to keep an eye with Ah'nuh also, till the very end and for that tasked. .I'll leave it on you Wu!" 

He shifted his gazed into Yan Jing who was frowning.

"You don't meant to used Xiang Gōngzhǔ. .

"Bingo.!" He grin. "Xiang is the most suitable for this as she was in neutral, side.!"

"d.a.m.ned you!" Yan Jing grits his teeth. "Why it has to be her?"

"Relaxed.!" Tàizǐ smiled in amus.e.m.e.nt, Yan Jing was clearly jealous and alarmed.

"We clearly knew Xiang is as stubborn as a mule. .if she did submit herself to you. .

Tàizǐ said, emphasizing the word "Submit!" that makes his two younger brother throws an accused look on Yan Jing.

"Which is no doubt about it. .then!" He paused while studying his expression, he was clearly taken aback by his bluntness.

"You will going to convinced her.!"

"Me.?" Yan Jing groaned." Are you nuts?"

He said defiantly. "How could I asked my woman to do such thing, you despicable b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"

Wu and Yu chuckles in Yan Jing's reaction, 

Tàizǐ diànxià was clearly prying something on him that he unknowingly took the bait.

If someone heard them they might misunderstood, as Yan Jing was cursing Tàizǐ diànxià.

Tàizǐ smiled triumphantly. "So when will be the wedding?"

"A what?"

Yan Jing suddenly paused when he realized what's going on.

"You.!" 

He said with embarra.s.sment as his face slightly turn red.

That made the three of them bark into laughters.

"Soon. .if my head will remained to where it is after this things over!"

He said sourly as he knew the crime he did for taking the princess out of his Majesty's consent.

"We will help you keep your head with your bulls intact!" Tàizǐ diànxià teased him. "But first lets end this game, with a sure win.!"

"Yeah. .as if I had a choice.!" 

He thought defiantly.
