Gourmet Emperor: Master Of Culinary World 45 Cave In The Cliff

Currently, I bring my sword, my phone, and my identification stone. The latter two is a very important thing to me and I don't want to leave them without my sight. If the cave is dark at least I can use the flashlight on my phone to give some light there. And for identification stone, this magical storage is my walking warehouse. Even in the modern era, there no such thing that can compare with this identification stone.

I start to rack my brains for the banquet menu. Currently, I have frikadel for the appetizer, lobster, and fish for the main menu, and I still need something for soup and dessert. For dessert, I already have one but still, search for a better one. If what I'm suspecting available in the cave, the soup problem is solved. Ten minutes later, Claude and my uncle coming with some burly men with them.

"Henry! Are you out of your mind? I hear from Claude you want to climb down the cliff, is that true?"

"Yes uncle, that's true. And I'm not doing something for naught"

My uncle stares at me deeply, at the end he makes a sigh and gives up

I've tied the rope on my waist and slowly climb down the cliff. Its height is about 30 meters, equal with building with ten floors, if I'm falling from here, I definitely will die, and either drowns in the sea or smashed against the rock below me. I carefully pick my stepping and avoided sharp rock because the friction between sharp rocks and the rope can cut the rope later.

Step by step, I'm climbing down the cliff and in the middle of the cliff I see some caves there. The caves were varying in the diameter. Some of them not even can call a cave, a hole will more suit. I step down to the largest caves there with the diameter of the hole about 2 meters. The sunlight still can illuminate the cave entrance and some meter deeper, but this cave seems deeper because I only see dark things behind.

"Uncle! I'm already in the cave entrance and want to walk further to the deep cave. Please expand the rope"

My uncle is shouting back from above.

Several meters from cave entrance I haven't see anything special. I decide to walk further and lite up the flashlight on my phone. I hope my light didn't scare the birds inside. I can't imagine what will happen if birds swarms charge to me because surprised with the light.

Thank G.o.d, this thing is not to happen. I directed the light to the cave wall, and as I expected, I found what I'm thinking on the cave wall. It's the birds' nest. An expensive ingredient for Chinese cuisine called bird nest soup. And the amount is not just a dozen. There are hundreds or maybe thousands of them! I want to cry for overjoyed this time. Finally, I got the ingredient for my soup, with this material, the banquet's success is increased.

Because the cave seems to still have the deeper part, I decided to explore deeper before start picking the birds nest. Since the rope maybe not long enough to reach the deeper part, I untie the rope in my waist and tie it in the stone column in the cave.

Beside bird nest and bird s.h.i.t and feather, I'm not see anything else in this cave, but there's still another deeper part of the cave. I walk carefully not to stumble on the uneven rocks that become the cave bed.

I move forward step by step by throw light into every corner and crook in the cave by my flashlight in the phone. My step was halt when I see something white lied on the cave wall in the distance. When I come close enough, that white thing makes me startled because it's actually a human skeleton!

Oh my G.o.d! Why there's a human skeleton here? How he get here? What makes he died here? Is there any dangerous animal living in this cave, like a poisonous snake maybe? My hair is stand when thinking about these possibilities.
