So, this time I will make curry paste and curry powder together for later usage.
I arrived at the kitchen with Craig while brings some ingredients makes the cooks that just finished having their breakfast surprised ?.
"Young master Henry, we just finished make sliced potatoes as your order, but that sliced potatoes haven't been soaked in salt water for too long"
"It's okay, I come for another purpose, but let me see that sliced potato"
A cook brings a big basin with sliced potatoes soaked in salt water inside it. I take a taste on the salt water to test if that water is salty enough to make potato chip.
"How much salt you pour in this basin?"
"3 spoons full of salt, young master"
"Too little, add a half jar of salt t this basin and keep the potato soaked in water until lunchtime"
"Yes young master"
After that cook carried out what I ask for him, I told to the cooks my intention of my visit this time.
"Gentlemen, I want to teach you another recipe. This recipe also uses potato as the main ingredient. So please prepare some potato, washed and diced into a small cube. Also, grind these ingredients I brought into powder and paste"

I start making potato curry with the portion that enough for 4 servings.
Ingredients that I need to make potato curry are:
• 3 medium potatoes, washed, peeled and cut into small cubes
• 1 tbsp garlic paste
• 1 tbsp red chili powder
• ½ tbsp c.u.min powder
• ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 bunch coriander, finely chopped
• salt, to taste
• 3 tbsp cooking oil
• 2 cups of water
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start by peeling and cutting the potatoes into small cubes.
2. In a pan with medium heat on the stove, add the cooking oil and garlic paste. Cook for 30 seconds and then add the potato pieces. Cook for 2 mins.
3. Quickly after this, add in the spices, stir for 10 seconds and add in the water. The potatoes should be almost completely submerged in water.
4. Leave the potatoes to cook on low heat for 20 mins or until the water has evaporated and the curry has thickened. Stir occasionally. Check to see if the potatoes are cooked all the way through and are soft, if not then add one cup more water and let it cook some more.
5. Once the curry is of the right consistency and the potatoes are cooked all the way through, add in the coriander and cook for 30 seconds more.
6. Serve fresh with bread or rice.
This dish does not need a long time to prepared, within around 30 minutes I already finish make this potato curry dish. The steams with rich spicy flavor come out from the pot when I open the lid.
"Smells good! So rich with spice aroma!"
"Unbelievable! Just from potato can come such dishes"
Well, I think I can get accustomed to their praise every time I make a new dish in the kitchen. I ask three bowls to put the curry for my father and sister to try. I left the rest for the cooks to taste it.
"Do we still have some bread left?"
"Yes, young master"
A cook takes some bread and presents it to me. I put it with the curry bowl in the tray, now I need to make some fruit and vegetable craving before sending this dish to my father and my sister.
