Finding Glowing Beauty in Books Chapter 21 Part2

Time flies! It is already Thursday and tonight is my last night in Singapore for this trip. The 2 weeks training is finally ending&h.e.l.lip;. I am so glad to be heading home in less than 24 hours&h.e.l.lip;. Can’t wait to see my babies&h.e.l.lip;.

Another late night post today&h.e.l.lip;.. apologies to those whom may have been waiting for this post&h.e.l.lip;.. 

Lan Ning and Yan Ru Yu is back for a short read today. It has been a super tiring day and week for me&h.e.l.lip; Mentally exhausting as well. So, part 3 of Chapter 21 will be posted next week&h.e.l.lip; 

Whenever both of them are together, they seem to bicker so much&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;. a pretty entertaining read today&h.e.l.lip; so enjoy! And have a fantastic weekend ahead!

Chapter 21.2: 

Six o’clock in the morning. The whole city is still bathed in the darkness. Only the street light is exuding some lights. Lan Ning’s heart is really not sure what to do. Although Yan Ru Yu is not a stranger for her, but time both of them know each other has not been long.

She looked around at the street and asked: “Where are we going?”

“Didn’t I said that we are heading into the mountain forest? I thought you had said earlier that you can fight few rouges? You also know how to be worried ah? It will be three to four hours journey. I hope you have had your breakfast.”

“You don’t have to worry. I have brought something to eat.” She is the co-pilot. She is afraid of being hungry and that he will not want to stop and eat.

The journey have started for a while. Lan Ning gradually became sleep. She got up early this morning so now is feeling a little drowsy. She shook her head to wake herself up. She is worried that should she fall asleep, she would not know where she is heading. She felt that she should always be checking out the road ahead. But her colleagues know that she is out with Yan Ru Yu so if anything ever happened, he would be the first suspect ah. But then, he writes mystery novels, so maybe it will be done seamless&h.e.l.lip;..

Lan Ning thought about it however, gradually fell asleep&h.e.l.lip;..

When she opened her eyes, the day has brighten. Lan Ning heart jump. She turn sideways to look out of the window.

Obviously they are no longer in the city. Both sides of the road are the landscape of farmland and hills.

She looked at her watch to check the time. It is already eight o’clock.

“Where is this?” She turned to ask Yan Ru Yu.

He smiled and with a few words&h.e.l.lip; : “On the road&h.e.l.lip;.”

Lan Ning: &h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;

“Do not worry. Even if I sell you into the mountains and forests, you are only worth a few dollar.” Yan Ru Yu looked in front of the winding road while casually said.

“&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;” because he is driving, Lan Ning bit on her tongue. She took out a bottle of mineral water from the bag, open the bottle and drank a mouthful.

After sleeping for so long, she is now feeling much more refreshed. Her spirit is much better so now feeling the hunger in her stomach.

She took out the prepared snack from her bag, opened it up to eat.

Yan Ru Yu turned and looked at her with a gently frown.

Lan Ning saw this and said: “Do not worry, I will not leave sugar residue in your car.”

Yan Ru Yu did not speak. Lan Ning thought for a while and then smiled: “Or you want to eat?”

Yan Ru Yu asked: “So, you want to feed me?”

Lan Ning suddenly have the pleasure to sing: “I brought biscuits, jelly, chocolate, potato chips and beef jerky. What would you like to eat?”

Yan Ru Yu just keep quiet and turned to glance at her.

Lan Ning pulled out the beef jerky from the bag, opened a piece and put into her mouth. “Oh, all though this is not as good as the beef that you invited me to eat last time, this is still good ah.”

Yan Ru Yu laughed. “Do you know that the driver’s good or bad mood are closely linked to the probabililty of a car accident?”

Lan Ning chocked. Even for a piece of beef, he uses car accident to threatened her. How unreasonable!

She took out another piece of the beef jerky and sent it to the mouth of Yan Ru Yu. He was stunned for a moment and then took the beef into his mouth to eat.

Lan Ning re-track her hand. She tried to open the potato chips. She heard Yan Ru Yu asking: “You usually eat this kind of thing?”

Lan Ning: &h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;

Then you spit it out!
