Day 3

"I don't know what happened to you, Liza. But, are you sure that you are alright? First, your 'so-called' boyfriend broke up with you. Now, you are no longer in the TOP 3 in the online polls vote. But, I will tell you something. If you agree with my suggestion, I think a lot of people will change their perspective about you." sabi ni Rachel Enrique habang kinakausap niya si Liza Romero sa video chat.

"I am not sure if I can organize a soup kitchen for the less fortunate. I am not a good cook like my mom." sabi ni Liza.

"Oh c'mon, Liza. You are working with your family business since you were in high school. I believe you can do that." sabi ni Rachel.

Naikuwento kasi ni Liza ang problema niya kay Rachel na mukhang matatalo siya sa beauty pageant. And, Rachel is suggesting na mag-organize siya ng soup kitchen so other people would realized that she is not what they think she is.

"I know you are a good person, Liza. People easily judged you what they see. But, they don't know you from deep inside." sabi ni Rachel.

Then, Liza understood Rachel's suggestion. So, she teamed-up with her two buddies, Marvin Rodriguez and Jessie Madrid to organize a soup kitchen for the less fortunate. And, it happened.

Now, the school paper made an article about Liza's soup kitchen.

On the other hand, Maggie, the editor in chief, thinks this is just a front act.

"No. I don't think this is just a front act. Magastos kaya ang mag-organize ng soup kitchen." commento naman ng contributor na nagsulat ng article.

"I was in the beauty pageant before. I know what she is doing." sagot naman ni Maggie.

"Do you think that Liza is not sincere in helping the poor? I thought you are Liza's friend." taka ng contributor.

"Yes, I am Liza's friend. But, that move is obviously unacceptable. Parang binibili niya ang mga boto ng online voters. I have to talk to Liza about this." sabi ni Maggie.

At nilapitan nga ni Maggie si Liza para kausapin tungkol sa sinagawa nilang soup kitchen.

"No. It is not what you think it is." sabi naman ni Liza.

"Liza, listen to me. This is not about winning. If people think that you are different, that's their opinion. You should not do something to gain their votes. Liza, I know you tried your best. But, we can't change people." sabi naman ni Maggie.

"Iniisip mo ba, Maggie, na mali ang move na ginawa ni Liza?" tanong ni Jessie.

"Have you checked the polls votes recently?" mariin na sabi ni Maggie.

At nag-check si Marvin kung ano ang update result ng polls vote.

"Man! You're right, Maggie. That activity doesn't work to increase her votes." sabi ni Marvin.

Sa inis ni Liza, nag-walk-out siya. Gusto man habulin siya ni Maggie, pero pinigilan siya ni Marvin.

Sabi ni Marvin, "No. We are the one should talk to her. You've done your part."

At si Jessie na ang humabol kay Liza.

And, Maggie went to her car, so she can drive herself on her way to dormitory. She realized that she left something in school. Nang binalikan niya, naabutan niya doon si Mrs. Welch, reading at the current issue of the school paper.

Sabi ni Mrs. Welch, "Hmm... Liza's seems really nice recently. I never thought she could organize a soup kitchen. I remembered my former husband, Karen's father, organized a soup kitchen when we were in high school."

"Mrs. Welch, may kailangan po ba kayo?" taka ni Maggie.

"Good job, Maggie, for encouraging Liza for that activity. And, I had checked the online polls votes few minutes ago that she ranked as second's." sabi ni Mrs. Welch.

Nagtataka si Maggie. Dahil iba ang resulta ang nakita nila kanina.

Dagdag pa ni Mrs. Welch, "By the way, the I.T. did a maintenance on that website kaya hindi niyo agad nakita ang resulta. He texted me earlier. Do you have his number?"

"Um... I will get that number from Lisa." sabi ni Maggie.

"Oh, Maggie! I thought you will be like your mother who is fierce, intelligent and organized. But, I think you get your traits from your father. Well, I will be going to the Dean's office right now." sabi ni Mrs. Welch.

Nang umalis na si Mrs. Welch, tinawagan agad ni Maggie si Marvin.

"Marvin, please check the website. Meron palang maintenance kaya hindi updated ang results." sabi ni Maggie.

"Now, I get it!" sabi ni Marvin.

And, Jessie checked the website. He was surprised. Sinabihan niya agad si Liza.

Sabi naman ni Liza, "Hmm... Ok. Thanks for the update."

"What? Yun lang?" taka ni Jessie.

"Well, I am busy right now. Mamaya na tayo magusap. I am at my aunt's designer. Sinusukat ko ang pinatahi kong gown." sabi ni Liza.

While at the boutique, nandun din si Sophie na nagsusukat ng pinatahing gown.

"You looked fantastic, Liza!" sabi ni Sophie.

"Of course, I am a Romero. That's the reason I joined the pageant." sagot naman ni Liza.

"Oh! Do you think Karen deserves to be crowned in this pageant if she is still alive? If we go back in three years ago, what does Karen look like? Is she as a pretty as the original Theta member, Roselle Valiente?" sabi ni Sophie.

Natigilan si Liza. Narealized niya na malalamin din ni Sophie tungkol sa tsismis about Roselle Valiente.

"By the way, are you familiar with the gown I am wearing? It is the same design that Roselle has when she was crowned in beauty pageant three years ago. And, I think this gown serves as my lucky charm." dagdag pa ni Sophie.

"You know, girl? Sometimes, you are weird!" commento naman ni Liza.
