“It’s strange for you to treat me instead of your friend.” Gu Yan refused without thinking.

“What? Now you have become famous and don’t even care for a meal, right?” Qi Changfeng said with a little anger. He pretended to be sullen.

“Okay, I’ll come.” Gu Yan knew Qi Changfeng’s character. It was no use to decline him, so she agreed. As for Jiang Jingcheng… He didn’t talk too much today and gave her the chance to show herself. “Will you go with me, Jingcheng?” Gu Yan asked Jiang Jingcheng, who also planned to go. How could he let Gu Yan eat with Qi Changfeng alone? However, before he nodded, Qi Changfeng said first.

“Shall we go to the restaurant that we frequently go? The proprietress misses you so much, and she told me that she would forget you if you didn’t come. “Fine, I won’t inform him.” Gu Yan said and looked ahead. Qi Changfeng’s purpose was reached, so he remained silent and focused on driving.

Gu Yan was looking at the scenery through the window. Then she realized that the scenery was familiar to her. And she thought that Qi Changfeng didn’t lie. He did lead her to the dining-room that they used to go. Then they entered in a private room. Qi Changfeng ordered many foods that Gu Yan used to prefer.

After waiters went out, Qi Changfeng picked up the teapot on the table to pour the tea for Gu Yan, and then for himself. All dishes were served quickly because of its efficient service. There was a table of delicacies just for them, which was Qi Changfeng’s style.

“It’s been a long time since we last met. How are you?” Qi Changfeng looked at Gu Yan, who was staring blankly at the tea. Qi Changfeng shook his head and couldn’t help grinning that she was still easily distracted.

“I am fine. The worst time pa.s.sed, so whatever I get through, it is better than the past.” She was afraid that Qi Changfeng would misunderstand her, so she added, “I’m quite good. How about you?”

“Me? Just so-so.” Qi Changfeng didn’t want to extend the topic. So, he changed the topic while picking up food for Gu Yan, “How does Mo Yichen treat you? If he doesn’t treat you well, you can consider me.” Although he was like joking, he did mean it.

“He is good to me. Don’t worried about others. You should think about yourself, and I am looking forward to see your wife.” Gu Yan said.
