"what happened?"shu asked in a soothing tone but anger present in his voice

"the other kids said that I'm so weak im better off being forgotten and that my parents left me here and forgot me because of I'm weak" the boy cried "all of you only pity me and nothing else you all hate me and think im weak" the boy sobbed

the grandmaster was taken aback by the boy after a few moments of silence he sat next to the boy and said do you seek to be remembered?

the boy looked up from his hands slowly "do you seek to be looked up too?"shu continued the boy nodded his head and the man proclaimed "then what you seek is glory so that people may mention you glory of a difference you made if you want to always be remembered" he looked at the boy in the eyes now "then seek glory"

the boy sat there stunned at what he just heard and so he thought that this was true for one to be remembered you need glory "then i will find glory and become great and everyone will love me" the boy wore a smile ear to ear. the grand master chuckled and replied"settle down settle down, for now, you have to survive to be there when the chance is there ok "the boy sat down "...o..ok" a smile appeared on shu's lips "just promise you will stay alive to remember me ok?"

shins eyes shot open now filled with energy and one sentence repeated again and again "i will find glory no matter what" and with that, he hit his leg with the stone once more the bone crackled into place and shin put the stick next to his leg and tighten the broken piece of shirt around the leg and stick then used healing magic to stop the bleeding although it will only hold back the blood flow and not fully heal the leg and used an energy orb to light the room it was then he heard it a whisper coming from the darkness again and it said

"come to me and you will find what you seek, come here my child" it seemed to come from a corner of the room

shin got up and began to follow the voice into an opening across the room with some difficulty due to his leg down a pa.s.sageway with one hand on the wall supporting his walking and as he walked the whispers got closer and closer shin couldn't explain it he felt like he needed to go toward it and the whisper continued to beckon him closer until the pa.s.sage opened up into an ancient city with roman type pillars and houses he continued on longer walking across the whole city before appearing in front of a catacomb where he could see a small glowing blue light which seemed to be the source of the whisper and it said

"if you grasp me all you want will belong to your power, money, glory, it will be yours you need only grasp me" the orb flickered it blue base shining, but filled with the strange etchings all over it

shin shivered with excitement at the mere mention of the word glory, to be remembered shin went the orb and grabbed it with a shivering hand he brought it closer

"vrrrrrrr' it began to vibrate and found that it was turning into liquid and entering every pore of his body causing him to shake violently and feel immense pain the orb was completely in his body at this moment and shin began to run away trying to escape the pain

but he fell to the ground hit his head and knocked himself unconscious

2 hours later

shin woke up again scanned around the landscape and remarked

"how many times can i hit my head in the same cave d*mn it"

he got up and found something weird his leg has completely healed no scar, wound no nothing as if it was never there in the first place he then began to notice he could see clearer in the darkness than before this was all very weird to him he was dumbfounded by this development he was beginning to think it a dream until he heard a soothing voice

shin looked around trying to find the source

"i am prototype#1 i am connected to your cerebral cortex please state your name," it said coldly

shin didnt know what to do so he just stated his name just to see what would happen

"name tanda shin is now in the database now commencing information exchange i am prototype #1 i was made to enhance human capabilities beyond the normal standard in order to create better warriors and i have melded with your body and now we are linked forever i have already enhanced you"

shins head was spinning with awe and confusion he thought he may have gone crazy but he saw that he was healed and his vision was enhanced so, in other words, this thing is telling the truth and he just hit a jackpot

"what did you do to my body?" shin asked it while feeling a new sense of hope

it responded promptly "i have enhanced your vision, your musculature, as well as your mind and will affect your psychology "

"my phycology?" shin wonders what that would mean going forward but for now that was not at the forefront of his mind so he decided to focus on what's happening now

"ok well what can i do now?" shin asked

"well why don't you try it out" it replied
