Yato growled, in a way that the Hyuuga's would never do, as Ken stole his food, his precious food, that he had gotten after a tiring day of fighting two Jounins, he had engaged with them on Taijutsu for dozens of moments.

Ryu smiled as he ate his bowl of miso ramen, the favorite of his, and looked at the fight his teammates were in, the two didn't really lack energy even after using so much chakra, it was funny.

"Teuchi-san, can I have another one?" Ryu said as he finished his 15th bowl of ramen, making his teammates temporarily stop and look at him with awe at his eating capabilities, 15 bowls... that was enough to last for 3-4 days for some people!

A smile appeared in Teuchi's slightly wrinkled face, and he told his daughter to give him another bowl," You really remind me of Naruto,Ryu. He was also energetic at eating ramen, just like you are."

Ryu froze for a second before grinning," Onii-san did tell me he wanted to bring me to this place before, but didn't have time." Teuchi laughed," Your mother is also a customer of ours, she comes every odd day."

Ryu smiled,"You were in my dad's team after all." Teuchi was a former shin.o.bi, being part of Minato's genin team together with another person, jounin instructor being Jiraiya, the Toad Sage.

He only gave up on a shin.o.bi's life as a jounin when his daughter was born, wanting to protect her, and because he was talented in the art of making ramen, he created the Ichiraku Ramen, which was famous in Konoha.

"Your father was a prodigy, I wouldn't compare myself to him even in the beginning, he was younger than me and Kobi, Jiraiya was even amazed at his talent." Teuchi chuckled as he gave Ryu a bowl of ramen.

"My dad was awesome too! Don't listen to him!" Ayame popped out of nowhere and said with a grin. " He fought several foreign chunins and defeated them, and protected me, all alone !" She said.

Ryu had an expression of awe," You are amazing, Teuchi-san!" Ken and Yato were in the same position, who knew a random ramen restaurant's owner had such a deep history behind him? A former jounin!

Kushina growled at the sight of her son who had just returned home,"Where do you think you are going... Little grown man?" Besides her being 9 months pregnant, she was also very angry because her son had just been promoted to genin.

That day, Ryu remembered what it was like to risk making a mother angry. He would never repeat it, absolutely never, no way he'd repeat it, never, never, never!!!

Ryu woke up with a ma.s.sive pain in his ears, which were extremely swollen, and red in color. His mother had done a good job on him, he would remember this humiliation... And he'd probably do nothing about it.

He let a rogue tear out, before tying his headband to his forehead, and wearing his shin.o.bi clothes, he wore a black T-shirt and covered in with light leather armor, and black anbu pants. fixed his hair, brushed his teeth, and it was time to leave for Training Ground 7, to meet with his team and jounin instructors.

Who knew what kind of interesting missions they'd do together... But first was the bane of every shin.o.bi in the village, the cursed D Rank Missions...

He reached the Training Ground 7, after leaving his room through the window, still scared to meet his mother head on, pregnancy could do a lot of stuff to you, and Ryu did not want to meet her head-on for that.

He reached the Training Ground 7,earlier than his team so he decided to train his new elemental affinity 'wood'. He started with slamming his hands into the ground, creating several wood trees, which drained a bit of his chakra.

'My chakra reserves right now are comparable to a Kage, probably higher than Minato's, but I need to be careful on using it' Ryu said,' I've been increasing it daily, however it's a very low increase daily, from the time I am 10 years old, I'm going to increase my chakra by 2 to 5% daily.'

Ryu then noticed his team had arrived, and soon Hayate and Yugao had arrived too, this time with another person, Yamato. Ryu knew the person because he had seen him several times when he went to visit his father.

Ryu recognized him as an user of the Wood Element, probably from experiments done to him from Orochimaru, the chances of dying were quite high, but the kids had agreed to doing the experiment.

Tenzo, or also called Yamato was the only survivor, the rest while still alive, were in coma and didn't possess the Wood Element, meaning they were civilians, as their access to Chakra had either weakened or completely fallen apart.

The Hokage had promised he'd take care of all of them, and he was giving their families quite a high sum of money monthly, and judging by the condition of the kids, they'd wake up soon, however they would be the same age as they were when the experiment started due to side effects of it.

Yamato probably was here to teach him how to use his Wood Element.
