The Road To One Day Be The Strongest Volume 1 Chapter 3

There's one that…. Well, for some reason my imagination has run wild. To be honest, I'm already sure this is either a dream or a different world. Since I've started to think that way, I understand the first of the two t.i.tles, or I'm pretty sure I do. 

Frowning, I tapped the t.i.tle column and two explanations popped up.

This world is a different parallel world so, you're lost. Rarely a lost persons body may change.

Special skills: Starting status is lowered, accelerated growth, when you level up the status increases, automatic interpretation.

-One blessed by the creation G.o.d

Proof you've received the creation G.o.d's blessing. Able to use the creation skill. 

Special skills: when you level up, status receives a large increase.

“Uhm….yeah,ok.”

To put it simply, it's a: ” You suddenly have some cheats so, your status has been lowered. But hey relax, as you grow you'll get it all back, ok.” Kind of thing right? Die….

It's the creation G.o.d's blessing after all, I ended up expecting something. However, when I opened the t.i.tle box demerits practically came falling out. In this case, “the fact is you've accidentally become a vampire.” Would have had a greater impact. For now I want the power to leave this cave in peace, ‘great talent matures late' I don't have any use for that kind of thing. With those thoughts running through my head, I clapped my hands together trying to change my mood.

“Ok then.”

Feeling like my monologues have increased recently I decide to check out the items sleeping in the itembox. Finding a relatively clean spot on the cave floor I began to empty out the contents. Inside was a total of five items.

① a change of clothes

② a black dagger

③ a large dictionary with golden chains

④ a cloth sack filled with coins

⑤ food and a bottle of water

That's all, just those five things. Starting with the change of clothes, a short sleeve white undershirt, a pair of long black pants, a jet black overcoat hemmed to hang behind the knee, and a pair of boots. 

The coat had a bright red crest on the back that, if I had to describe it in one word, that word would be ‘chuuni'.[tn:chuuni is j.a.panese slang meaning the behavior children demonstrate in Jr high school. Interests and behavior that society considers abnormal.] The fact that deep inside I love it is a secret. 

I tried on the coat at once, the size was perfect, it wasn't restrictive at all. As it allowed for free range of movement, I could probably fight in this, but I don't want to…

Remembering the appraisal skill I decide to use it on the coat as I'm wearing it. Triggering the skill caused the appraisal results to appear before me. Seeing them I―

Grim reaper coat. Quality:SSS

A coat worn by a grim reaper.

The blood of a grim reaper clings to it in large amounts, cannot be explained by either magic or science. An ordinary coat with an auto repair function. Those that wear the coat usually die soon after. The perpetrator is most likely a grim reaper. 

―with zero hesitation, threw the coat off. I tried to put some distance between myself and the coat, wrapping my arms around my shoulders as a chill ran up my spine. 

It's, it's not that it was scary, I'm fine with the occult, seriously ghosts and stuff are fine. With that in my heart I reach out and touch the coat.

…….a few minutes pa.s.s.

The coat didn't change and, wouldn't the reaper be even angrier if I threw his coat away? We-,well it's not like I want to wear it, since I would be punished right?

Although, it's not that I don't want to wear it, but for now, yeah for now I'll just seal it in the-

“Maybe he has a good heart and will pretend not to notice.”

-pulling the coat on at the speed of light, I cast my gaze around. It doesn't seem like anyone is here. 

Although, I'm not imagining it am I? No it doesn't feel like I'm imagining it. In an atmosphere that felt as though I would be killed at any moment I….

“So, uhm, I'm going to wear this for now ok.”

With no one around, I declared that I was going to wear the coat. Trying to ignore the feeling I was going to be killed, I turned my attention to the black dagger. Using the appraisal skill caused the same screen to appear before me.

Blood knife. Quality:SSS

A legendary dagger that can only be used by vampires. A living blade with a high magical affinity, it grows alongside its user. It sucks blood, temporarily growing sharper and supplying blood to its owner. 

Indestructible.

“So what” 

After the impact the coat had, this is at a level where I can say that while I pick my nose. Although the quality is technically amazing.

Alright on to the last item.

In front of me lay a book. It had a black cover with gold fittings and other decorations. It looked as though it came right out of a fairytale, in front of such a book, I couldn't help but gulp in antic.i.p.ation. 

“This looks expensive.”

Picking it up, the book seemed to be thicker than a dictionary and in size it well exceeded it. Even holding it with both hands, it was easy to tell how heavy it was. 

The book was fitted with a golden lock but, I had no idea where the key to open such a thing could be.  Golden chains ran up the spine, making it the most unusual book I've ever seen.

“What in the world is this?”

That's when I heard it. The bright cheery voice of a little girl.

“h.e.l.lo~! Are you my master?”
