After running for some time they stopped to catch their breathes.

"You think they'll be okay Jas?".

"I know they'll be okay Cathy. This was their home, they surely would be able to handle this soldiers" he said trying to rea.s.sure her.

"Sure, mother and Aunt can handle them. I'm just... " she was cut short by Jasper's finger on her lips.

"Shhhh... We can do it, we've been preparing all our life for this time. Isabel needs us, she out of all of us guardians haven't trained with her powers".

"I'm worried about her, she's out there alone. Not knowing where to go or whom to trust. How would she be able to fend for herself?".

"Catherine" he called her name, trying to calm her down.

"Jasper I am... ".

"Its going to be okay, don't panicked. You'll have a panic attack and we don't need that right now. I'm also worried about her... " he pauses as he sees Catherine giving him a suspicious smile.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked the mischievous girl.

"Hehhehhehhheee" she giggles while flashing him a shy smile.

"Come on out with it Cathy".

"You are worried about her..."

"Yes, so? Is it a bad thing?" He asked again.

"You like her".

"Of course I like her. We all do".

"No your's is different. You like like her".

He looks at Catherine feigning ignorance.

"Don't give me that look like you know nothing of what I'm talking about".

"Nah I don't".

"Yes you do you liar".

"I don't Cathy".

"You have feelings for her".

"Its in your head Cathy".

"But... "

He cuts her short, "Enough with that, we have to get going. At least you are better now, let's go".

Before she had the chance to argue, he drags her away and they continued running.

Isabel keeps walking North and finds a house hidden in the woods. She scanned the compound and saw some clothes hung to dry on a rope. She checked again and when she was sure no one was coming, she ran towards the clothes and picked a trouser, a shirt, a pair of gloves and a cloak. Then she turned to leave but q hand stops her.

"d.a.m.n it" she thought to herself.

"Where do you think you are going to with those?" The masculine voice said.

"Okay he is just one guy, you can take him on and run for your life" she whispered to herself.

"What did you say? I didn't get that" the voice asked her another question.

"Okay Isabel, on the count of three, you punch this dimwit and run. One, two... "

"Okay since you don't want to speak loud, I'll just... " as he tries turning her around.

"Three" she turns around and instantly lands a punch to his face and he falls down. About to run, she sees a sight that stuns her.

"Oh boy... ".

She looks in front of her and what she sees shocked her. There right in front of her were some teenagers, five boys and two girls. All looking at her with some weapons in their hands.

"The nerve" the red haired girl by her left said looking at her with distain.

"First you have the guts to steal from us and hit one of us"

"She really wants to regret it I tell you".

One by one they spoke to her.

"Wait" the other kept quiet when one of the guys spoke. He had a blonde hair, with a sword on his belt, he seemed not too muscular, a symmetric face and the way his hair fell loosely in his face made him look handsome. He seemed to be the leader of their group.

"What's with this wierd outfit?" He asked but they all burst into a round of laughter.

"I'm asking you a question thief" he said rather impatiently.

Isabel didn't reply, she just kept on staring at them.

"Or are you mute?" He asked again.

"I'm not a thief".

"Oh she speaks" they all laugh again.

"What's so funny about that?".

"You have the nerve asking questions. I do the asking here. Understood?".

"Well if you can ask, why can't I?" Isabel said defiantly.

"Ohhh stubborn I see. Okay, if you are not a thief, then what are you doing with those?".

"Borrowing it".

"And who did you tell?"

"You weren't home".

"What a liar. You are a liar and a thief b.i.t.c.h" the second girl with a brown hair spoke up. She had a s.e.xy figure, one that most guys would die for, with her long brown hair reaching her waist. She wore a trouser and a gray top with an iron in her hand.

".... " Isabel sighed looking at the girl.
