Life Of The Shadow King 2 The 5Th Floor

After a few hours of killing goblins he only managed to gain 15 ears. "This would have been easy if I could get both ears, but the quest said I needed the ones with earrings. And only a few of those showed up" he said. He was already on the 4th floor of the dungeon and is about to enter the 5th floor when he heard something screamed on the other side of the stairs. "A hobgoblin?!" he said. He never thought that he would encounter a hobgoblin this early. But he taught it made sense because the quest is a C rank quest but the goblins were only E rank monsters. He then went down the stairs and saw the hobgoblin. Within the few hours of fighting he was already hungry. Luckily the hobgoblin in front of him has food.

He grabbed his sword and rushed to the hobgoblin but before he could hit it, it swung it's club to him. He dodged the club by jumping backwards. Seeing that he was in a tight situation he used dark binding magic named Void Bind to hold the hobgoblin in place. He then jumped above it and yelled "Die!" as he chopped it's head off. He then took the food in the bad of the hobgoblin. While eating he decides to rest for a while.

A day has pa.s.sed and he was at 25 goblins ears already. As he was about to get to the next floor he then saw a giant red stone gate. He opened the door and saw a two headed dragon resting in a room like a cave with crystals. He was shocked seeing a dragon on a C rank quest. He then remembered that as they were about to accept the quest he read that it was submitted by the royal capital. "Well that explains the Demon Blade. But why want goblin ears?" he said. The dragon then opened it's eyes.

The dragon's heads had two colors. One was red and one was black. The red one breathed fire to him. He leaped off dodging the flames. The black one looked up and released a dark ball from it's mouth. "The same affinities as me huh?" he said. The dark ball missed him. He looked at the dragon and was shocked on what he saw. The dragon was combining dark and fire magic to produce black flames. The dragon launched the flames at him. He dodged it and looked behind him. "Whoa! Good thing I dodged it in time" he said. A large crater formed as a result of the black flames. He thought of a new way of using his magic thanks to the dragon. He combined both dark and fire magic. "I did it. My own magic... I'll call it h.e.l.l flame" he said. He held his sword tightly with two arms. He covered the blade with his magic. He rushed at the dragon chopping it's two heads off.

A pa.s.sage way then appeared with a sign saying " Seeing you defeated the guardian of the Demon Blade no more difficult monsters will appear on the upcoming floors". "So the ones who inspected the dungeon only went until the this floor huh? Camouflage, the spell that helped them see what was lying in the dungeon didn't help them here knowing that the only way to get past this floor is defeating the dragon" he said. He continued on for a few hours before resting once more. He looked at his ID and said "Status".

"It's really unhelpful not being able to see my vitality. But look at that I've gotten a lot stronger by fighting the dragon, hobgoblin, and over a hundred of goblins. My sword is really worn out as well but I'll manage" he said. He was already at the 7th floor. He discovered a goblin camp. He finished the goblins off and got 10 more goblin ears making 35 in total. He slept at the goblins camp.

It has been 2 days since he was trapped in the dungeon. He reached the 9th floor and was about to defeat the final goblin to finish the quest. After defeating the goblin he has finally completed the quest. He saw the pathway to the 10th floor.
