When Mu MingTang went back to her small room, she was followed by four female servants. Two of them were dowry maids from the Jiang family, and the other two were transferred from the Jin Manor. Mu MingTang pretended like she knew nothing, and continued on with her things. During that period, the maids had offered to help her change several times, but were all refused by Mu MingTang.

What a joke, the two were under Madam Jiang, and another two were under Xie Xuanji, she didn’t dare to instruct either one. Initially, she thought they would stop after she went to bed. However, she had fairly underestimated the maids that were trained in the capital. The maids from Jin Manor set the bedding and worked in shifts. One would sleep on the floor and another would sit on the stool and stare at Mu Mingtang.

In short, they were instructed to keep an eye on her at all times.

Mu Mingtang felt depressed when she closed her eyes. She even thought to herself, she might as well sleep by Xie Xuanchen’s. At least, no one would dare to stay around him.

One of them brought over some water, and another squeezed the water out of the napkin. Mu Mingtang had no choice but to forcefully accept the two maids’ service.

After rinsing herself, the maid brought over the mirror and tied up her hair. Mu Mingtang’s dressing table was in Xie Xuancheng’s room. As there were guards outside, it was inconvenient for her to head out without dressing her hair. Hence, the manor’s maid had no choice but to comb Mu Mingtang’s hair with what she had on hand.

“Sorry for the poor skills, do please forgive me, my dearest princess.”

How is this poor…… Mu Mingtang stretched out her hand and touched her hair, she held back her thoughts without saying a single word. She thought she had experienced the luxurious life of the rich families in the capital when she was with the Jin family for one year. The real princess would have at least 20 to 30 people around her every time she travelled, and would have 10 other maids around to specifically serve her.
