Demon King App 6 Chapter 5

When Bryson hears that familiar voice, he hurriedly takes out his magi-phone from his pocket.

[h.e.l.lo human, ya miss me?] In the screen, he saw a familiar sight.

Bryson then stands up from the bench and scream. "s.h.i.t! I just deleted this app, haven't I?! How the f.u.c.k is it back?!"

When Bryson noticed what he just did, he hurriedly looks around, fortunately, he is the only one left loitering in the hospital's courtyard since it is already late. He then hurriedly rushes into his room, and when he is inside, he locks the door and sit on his bed looking on his magi-phone.

At the screen of his magi-phone, he once again saw a familiar child looking man hovering on the screen.

[So, human ya ready to talk?] The chibi demon king said while smirking at him.

"How the f.u.c.k are you back?! I made sure and double checked my phone when I deleted that dangerous app."

[HAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Look human, ya can't possibly run from me, for our soul are now connected]

"WHAT?!!" Shocked by the chibi Demon king's statement, Bryson let out a loud voice, but he hurriedly covers his mouth worried if someone hears him.

[Ya saw it right? On that day when this app is installed and activated, ya saw the word SOUL CONNECTION right?] The chibi Demon king's cute face is nowhere to be found, but instead is replaced by an evil smile that sends chill into Bryson's spine.

"You've got to be kidding me! How does an app have that kind of feature?! Even an MSA didn't have one! And you said OUR SOUL, right?! What, an app has a freaking SOUL?"

[To be precise, I am originally a soul, but to be compatible with the host which is this device, I rearranged myself.] Looking proud, the demon king puffs up his chest.

In all honesty, the chibi Demon king's action is frighteningly cute, but Bryson have more important things in his mind to even notice it. "What you're a soul that now has turned into an app?! How's that even possible?!"

[Like I said, I rearrange myself. Never mind that, GIVE ME YOUR BODY!] With an intimidating voice, he tries to make Bryson cower before him.

"HUUHHH?!! WHY WOULD I EVEN DO THAT?!" Bryson once again let out a loud voice.

[Why? Cause that's for the greater good of this world!!] The Demon king pump up his fist looking fired up.

"Huuhh?! The h.e.l.l are you talking about?!"

[It's none of your concern human! so just shut up and give me your body!]

Bryson finally calmed down a little after hearing that. "And you seriously thought that I would do that just because you ask? What are you an idiot?"

[That's where your wron human, whether you give your consent or not, sooner or later I would take over your body.] The chibi Demon king smile menacingly which cause Bryson to break into cold sweat.

"W-what do you mean by that?"

[I mean like that time when I control you to connect this device with that old computer.]

Hearing that, a flash of events that happened in the school's storage room surfaced into Bryson's mind which cause him to panic even more.

[Heeeeh, looks like you remember what happened. So, changed your mind now?] With a confident smile, theDemon king tries to provoke Bryson.

"In your dreams! How about I destroy this magi-phone huh? I can always just get a new one." With a stiff smile Bryson return the provocation.

[Oh, you can always try, but one thing I guarantee, when you hold another magi-phone, I will be back.] And the Demon king flash a victorious smile.

's.h.i.t!!!' Bryson curse at himself, and in desperation he said. "I would never give you my body! And somehow, someway I would get rid of you! Just you wait!" He said clinging to a faint glimmer of hope, he then throws his magi-phone into the bed and reach out to the food that his sister leaves him trying to ignore and take his mind of what just happened.

[We'll see.] The Demon king said with excitement in his voice.

When Alisha returned to his room, he saw a woman the she knows all too well.

"Welcome back, young miss. May I inquire as to where have you been?" The woman said with a scary looking smile.

"O-oh, Ava, hahahaha, I-I just take a tour on the hospital, d-don't worry I've been careful, hahaha." With a stiff smile, Alisha tries to pacify the raging Ava.

"Oh, really now? You also must have been really careful not to get caught by the body guards I leave you with huh?" Still smiling, Ava cross her arms into her ample chest and give a not so happy gaze at Alisha.

"H-hahahaha... S-sorry." Being pressured by the Ava's gaze, Alisha lower her head and apologize sincerely.

*Sigh* "I know that you would surely do this again given a chance so I would not ask you to stop, instead just promise me that when you do this again, you would ask for a permission so that we can at least have someone watch over you." Sighing, Ava hold out her hand and pat Alisha on the head while asking for a compromise.

"Y-yes! T-thank you very much Ava!" With a bright smile, Alisha thank Ava with great enthusiasm.

"Well then, it's already late so you must take a long rest, I'll be just out in the hospital's visitors' area since it is forbidden for visitors to stay in here in patient's area, if you need something you can find me there." Smiling, Ava bid goodnight to Alisha and left the room.

After Ava left the room, Alisha lie down on her bed and think about the man he met just this noon. The meeting with that man really stuck out from her mind not because he feels attracted to that man, but because when she speaks with him, she truly felt at ease, the words that she said to the man before they part ways are truly what she feel at that time.

'I wonder why I feel at ease talking to him? Maybe because talking to him feels like I'm talking to a comrade who goes to have the same experience as me? But unlike me he's neither plague with a disease nor have been caged his whole life. And that look he gave me when I told him my situation, it isn't a look of pity nor sympathy, it feels like he truly understands my feelings. What a truly fascinating man.'

Alisha continues to ruminate about these thoughts until she falls asleep.

Somewhere in the hospital, a nurse talks to a telepathic call using her magi-phone rather careful not to be found.

"So, how's the condition of the target?" The voice from the other side of the magi-phone ask.

"For now, the target is in good condition and is rather lively." The nurse answers the with a careful voice.

"So, we would be force to take her when she's still awake is it?"

"No, I believe we should wait a little longer, I'm sure a chance would come by if we watch with patience for a while longer."

"But with her being in that hospital is our only chance, right? It would be impossible to s.n.a.t.c.h her if she is taken to a lab run personally by her grandfather."

"I know, but taking the target in this condition is a terribly reckless move since the target is guarded by a powerful member of the collector's guild."

"It's not so surprising that the target's guard is that strong, I would instead be surprised if the a.s.signed guard is a weakling, but based on what you say...do you perhaps think that you can't win against the guard? If that's so, it's rather surprising." The voice said with a provocative tone.

"Don't kid yourself, of course I can! I'm just being careful." With a strong voice, the nurse insists.

"Really, it sounds like an excuse to me." The voice continues to provoke the nurse.

"I'm telling the truth here, I have no doubt that I can win against that guard, but it's a different story if were talking about the mission. If we act carelessly, we might fail to capture the target, you don't want that do you?" Laying out the facts, the nurse continues to convince the voice.

"Besides, trying not get found here is really hard because of that guard, I'm pretty sure that she would be able to notice that something is wrong if she even just takes a single glance at me."

"Hooo, that's quite a skilled and annoying opponent you have there." Amused by what the nursed have said, the voice praises the skill of their enemy.

"Yeah, and that makes the mission way more fun and satisfying to complete." The nurse said with a fierce smile.

"Well just be careful out there, we don't want this mission to fail, the boss might get angry at us." With slight hint of threat, the voice warns the nurse.

"I know, I know, besides I don't want the time that I spend in infiltrating this hospital to go to waste." The nurse a.s.sured the voice.

"Well then, Goodluck and be careful."

"I'll be, then I'm out."

The nurse then ends the call and leave that place without anyone noticing.
