The lights flickered to life as the mana flowed into the gla.s.s...o...b... the light shined through the old lab that looked like it had been untouched for years. The lights slowly moved across the globes of gla.s.s til each was full. The entire lab came to life as the tubes that lined the wall. The door opened as two figures slowly made their way into the lab. One in a long black cloak that covered most of his body aside from his hand holding out a clipboard. The other was a man with short white hair and a scar over his right eye. The two checked things around the lab before walking towards the one tube that had something inside of it.

"Human.... the last 5 have all been human... Stretching out my DNA isn't working anymore." said the man in the cloak. Ti walked over to the screen the man was looking over. He tapped the screen a few times before sighing. "Master I warned you that stretching out your DNA like this would have adverse effects. Creating a clone takes a lot of the DNA and this one came out as a human. It can't use magic either well at least not magic seals. That means blood magic is still possible but... you don't have that magic yet to teach it." Said Ti.

"Then we will test out the black armor on him. Blood magic is the key and if he dies its no cost to me. a useless body is just that. besides if I needed to change into his body for whatever reason the armor would give me the strength to match a demon and the agility to beat them. If the armor works it will make all my clones at least a rank 1 in natural abilities, not including the magical abilities they hold. 15 will just be a good shield with amazing physical ability. Though we should grant the armor a bit of attack." Said the man who began typing on the screen. After a moment large needles slowly lowered into the tube full of green liquid. The man inside was struggling but due to the straps holding him. all he could do is wiggle a little before the needles plunged into his skin. The mask over his mouth m.u.f.fled his screams. Black ooze slowly slides down the tubes attached to the needles.

Ti was watching the work be done as he monitored his life force. "Sir his heart rate is skyrocketing. He's going to break under the stress of this operation," said Ti as he was about to reach for the shut-off switch. Just as his hand was about to touch it a blast of energy launched him against a wall shattering the desk.

"You dare touch my experiment? I will slaughter you myself Ti." said The cloaked man before turning back to the tube. The clone wasn't jerking about anymore. In the system, his heart had stopped. The man simply sighed before tapping the keyboard a few times signaling the system to dispense the wasted sample. The liquid drained out of the tube before flames quickly engulfed the tube. It was burning the body completely.

Ti quickly shot up from his seat tackling the man in the cloak down. It happened just in time as the gla.s.s from the tube shattered outwards. There inside the explosion was the clone enclosed in black armor. it covered every inch of the clone leaving no optimal weak point. The man in the cloak shoved Ti out of the way before rising up. He looked at the armored clone with a nod. "You are LS15... your job is to protect the city and the lab should I ever not exist." said the man in the cloak.

"This is the last one using my direct DNA code. I am going to work on a way to make more clones and gain greater magic." said the man in the cloak before walking to leave. He turned his head back to speak again. "Ti.... three days... we are going to give me a complete armor rather than the moderate suit he's wearing," he said before disappearing out the door.

Ti stood up looking at the black guardian. "you really are foolish... to think this thing is good enough to protect the city... something is missing." he said softly before leaving himself.
