Demon Prince Chapter 6

Chapter 6~ Ancient abyss 

It was the day of the third test to initiate. Felix was standing around a corner, all alone. He was excited to enter the ancient abyss. He wanted to fight strong beast so that he could improve. Only Life and Death situation can trigger hidden talent. At present he was at the peak of level one Phantom zone. If he could get some pointers while fighting a stronger beast that him, he could break through level two Phantom zone.

At this moment the elder which gave the intro of the exam came onto the stage and said~

“Welcome back, today you all will enter the ancient Abyss. It’s a place where you can find great opportunity to improve your skills. There are various beast which you can fight. As i said earlier, you have to bring 10 body part of different  beast as a proof. If you are unable to bring even a single proof less, you won’t be able to to take part in the fourth text. I warn you, know your limits. If you do something careless, you won’t even get a chance to regret. Ancient abyss is divided into  four region. For first region is for those who are below level eight Ignite mode, second region is only for those who is level nine Ignite mode and as for third region only those can go whose cultivation is level one Body strengthening and for the last, the fourth region is for none. It’s a region for people above level eight body strengthening. As you all know, no one has that kind of cultivation among you. I wish you good luck . you all can start entering the ancient abyss by the portal over there. It will send you to the respective region according to your cultivation. You may go now  ”

As the students heard this, they were scared but they could do nothing. So, they started entering the portal. One by one, each of them went inside the portal. Felix also went to the portal. As Felix cultivation was so high, he was teleported to the fourth region. Around his surrounding was dense forest. Forest which was made up of black wood tree. Form the depth of the forest came sounds of strong beast. Hearing all those sounds, felix was on cloud nine. He went toward the depths of the forest.It was only few meter which he travelled and he encountered a beast which looked like a serpent with five head. Felix had never seen such kind of beast. So, been excited he threw a casual punch at the serpent’s body. It was a solid impact to the body. It started bleeding from the spot where it had the impact. Seeing this, felix felt disappointment. He thought that the serpent could give him a fight but he was wrong. So to finish the c.r.a.p fight he took out the sword which he got from the chest. He made a solid slash toward the serpent’s body. It was sliced into two. For the proof, he took one of the head. As time went by, he came across many beast which were slayed by him. As he went deep inside the forest he heard somethings as~

“You seem to be pretty strong for your age.”

“Who are you? Come infront of me right now”

“I’m just a beast. I heard a mad man came into my territory and killing my kind. So I thought of teaching that madman a lesson but to my surprise, that madman happened to be kid. That to with the same strength as me. So do you want to fight with me?”

Hearing what this beast was saying, felix said~

“Sure, but I think you have to come in front of me first, then only we would be able to fight”

“You fool, I’m right in front you ” 

“Where?”

“Look down”

When felix looked down, he saw a black fog with two golden eyes staring at him. The beast had so small body. He started laughing. He thought that it was impossible for a beast with so small body could match him.

Seeing how lowly felix treated him.  The beast got angry and said ~

“Can you fight instead of laughing?”

“Sure, what If I kill you?”

“I will take as my lack of skills. Now shall we begin?”

“Sure”

The moment felix said that, the beast moved like a lightning bolt and  striked felix. Felix was knocked out in an instant. Felix didn’t even get a chance to attack. He was no match for the mysterious beast. He had no chance to regret now. He was covered with blood with a big hole in the chest. Seeing all the mesh, the beast said~

“I think I overestimated you. Rest in Peace”

Beast was about to leave when the wound of felix started healing. Just after 5 min of healing, felix was as new as before. Seeing the sudden change, the beast was shocked. He said!

“Are you human or not?”

“I don’t know”

“What do you mean by ‘i don’t know’ ”

“I don’t know my origins”

“Haha…..leaving all this stuff….you are no match for me. It seems it’s my time to laugh ”

“You attacked me suddenly”

“Is that so? Wanna  give it another try?”

“Yes”

Felix wanted to try once more but he lost again.  He fought and lost and recovered. This continued for a total of 29 days. At the end he came to know that he was no match for him. Actually, on 25th day of their fight, felix broke through level two Phantom zone. Even after that, he was only able to avoid his first attack and in the second one he lost again.

“Are You done now?”

“You are too powerful, how can you be this strong?”

“Are you not a kid with a monstrous strength? When we compare you with a same kid of your age, it would be same as heaven and earth. You know, i’m only 3 year old. By the time I reach your age, I would be in a realm which even you don’t know. Let me tell you one more secret, i’m not of this world. I accidently got here. ”

“I don’t want to hear your story. What will you do with me?”

“Kill you I guess”

“Really?”

“Do I look who would joke around?”

“I don’t want to die, i’ll do anything you say”

“Anything?”

“Anything ”

“Let me enter your Soul Place!”

“What’s that?”

“It’s a s.p.a.ce where your soul resides”

“Wouldn’t that make you take over my body. I know that you are stronger than me, so you can defeat my soul easily.”

“I won’t do that, well truth to be told, you don’t have a choice. You do it by your wishe or not. So what would be it?”

“Are you telling truth. You seriously don’t take over my body?”

“I won’t”

“Ok, do as you please”

After felix gave the confirmation, beast started doing some weird things. After sometime, the beast became a black ray and entered the  soul s.p.a.ce of felix. When the beast entered felix Soul s.p.a.ce, felix’s cultivation made three break through. Which made felix’s cultivation level 5 Phantom Zone. The tattoo which was behind felix back was glow and radiating weird light. After sometime it came to the normal state. Felix’s happiness knew no bound. He asked~

“Why my cultivation risen up?”

“It’s because of me. I‘m your soulmate. I’ll live with you and die with you. I’m like your new companion. As time pa.s.ses I’ll teach you about this. Do you know about the other soul which is in Your soul s.p.a.ce?  ”

“Yes, it’s there. It’s strength is growing day by day. If your soul gets weak, he can defeat your soul easily and take over your body!”

“What!? Destroy it then.”

“I can’t”

“Why?”

“Your soul is connected to it. If I destroy it, You die. So deal with it.”

“It means I have a time bomb in my soul s.p.a.ce?”

“It seems that way.”

“Is there a way to destroy it?”

“Destroy it? It’s a no but if you want to do something, never let anyone one use soul attack on you. If that happen, that unknown soul will devour your soul. So now you know what to do. Let’s leave this place”

“c.r.a.p! I totally forgot about the test.”   

“Test?”

“I’ll tell you later”

After that, felix headed toward the portal. He was back to the ground where everyone was. There were only 12 members left. Though it was nothing for felix but to the elders, it was a thing which never happened. It was the first time that their were 12 member who pa.s.sed the third trial, and the remaining students met their end. The elder came to the stage and said~

“You 12 have exceeded my expectations. Now it’s time for the fourth trial. It’s seems you need some rest. You may go now and come tomorrow for the last trial”

Everyone left so did felix. Just like the last time, he went to the same tree where he slept last time. Suddenly he heard the beast~

“You are going to fight there chicks?”

“Yeah”

“Why? You wanna kill them or what?”

“It’s a long story”

After that he explain about the test.

“What should I call you?”

“You choice”

“What about jinx?”

“Sounds Good”

“Now let me sleep jinx”

“Whaa….your so boring”

After that felix went to sleep. Night pa.s.sed quickly and sun was up. It was the time when the fourth trial was about to begin. The arena where the combat were to happen was crowded with people. They all wanted to see the who was the strongest.

All twelve student gathered around the arena. The elder also came and said~

“You twelve will fight in three group. Four in each, those who win from each group will fight against each other. The winner shall enter the academy. Now one by one come to the stage and pick one of the twelve plate. This will determine the group you will be placed in”

All the twelve of them went ahead and picked the plates. Felix happened to be in group one and Draco Sia in two and Draco Mi in the third. It was the time for group one to fight. Felix and the other two got onto the stage.

The other two seems to know each other, so they tried to attack felix in unison. Little did they know they were moving toward their death. Felix simply moved like a lightning bolt and threw two punch toward them. Which resulted in their defeat. Seeing this the crowd member were not able to believe what they just saw.

“Wasn’t he just level eight Ignite mode?”

“I know that, but how was he able to defeat them so easily?”

“G.o.d knows that”

These people just not ready to believe what they just saw. Regarding the second and third match, Sia and Mi won. So it was the time for the finale. The time when the strongest among them would be decided. Sia , Mi and Felix got onto the arena.

Draco Mi said ”I give up, I’m no match for either of them”

After saying that he got of the stage.

Seeing this, Sia said  ”it seem we have to fight but you are no match for me. You can leave while you have the time ”

“Is that so? Can we fight now?”

“Sure but don’t say I didn’t warn you!”

Felix wanted to shatter the arrogance of the girl who was standing in front of him. So, he simply took out his sword and swung it, which created a shock wave which was generated by a level five phantom level. It approach Sia in millisecond, seeing the strength behind the wave, she was ready for her end and regretted what she said before.  As she lost all the hopes, a figure appeared in front of her and broke the wave. That figure happened to be felix’s. She knew felix was not as simply as he looked and regrading his cultivation, only he and G.o.d knows.

Felix liked to make fun of other’s despair. So he said~

“I’m I no match for you?”

After saying that, he returned to his original position. He saved her for his own benefit. He didn’t want to create a scene by killing the princess of the Draco Kingdom. This all attacking and saving took a mere seconds. No one was able to see what happened, only few expert were able to see it. After all this, Sia came to know the huge gap between the strength. She was about to forfeit the match but before she could even say anything, felix said~

“I give up, i’m no match for her”

Hearing what Felix said, Sia wanted to say something but before she could say some something felix’s figure dissolved and vanished without any trace. The crowd were shocked to see what happened just now. Felix did something which was taught by Jinx. It was a cloaking technique. It makes the user presence disappear and make him invisible. Felix was standing at the same position but now one was able to see him. He forfeited the match for two reason, for the first was to make Sia feel great despair, he wanted to make her feel bad even after wining and for the second there were no one in the entire academy who can give him a match, which includes the elder too. He thought this was because jinx said that the elder with the highest cultivation was level four Phantom Zone. he wanted to find a place where he could find a place where he could find his match.A figure which was floating in the cloud was seeing all the scene unfolding. He never expected to see a young fellow with a huge cultivation. He made a plan to talk with him and take him to his place where he could meet of his kind, the strong kind.

After the match with Sia, Felix took his belonging and started to head towards the Kingdom’s gate. He began to search a place where he belongs. He was out of the Kingdom and was on the road when Jinx said~

“Someone is Following you and you are no match for him. He can kill you in an instance~~~”
