It's a horrible torture technique to acupuncture and slice at all the tender muscles, hearing him scream b.l.o.o.d.y murder while I placed his mind into an endless nightmare. There was something about the whole experience that made me feel... empty.
I know at a time I would have loved to torture and murder the man who hurt me, but I only felt worse after torturing him.
"Faye. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." Zavier softly touched my shoulder making me flinch back and walk forward emotionless. I knew I should have known that torturing him wouldn't have done anything other than make me look like a monster.
I hated this.
The stares of judgment.
The whispers of fear.
It was so overwhelming that I wished I could disappear from this world.

"Daughter. Don't leave yet."
〰 Zavier 〰
She looked so lifeless as if her soul had been sucked up from the terrors of what she'd done to Harold. I wasn't sure whether to be pleased or distraught at the sight of her knowing such brutal techniques.
The only thing I thought about was that she was sent to torture me much like that man who was living within a nightmare. It was horrible to watch, I couldn't even imagine what it felt to be on the receiving end.
Or even be the one taught such techniques.
A shiver ran through my body as I remembered the vision I saw and couldn't even think about my mate living in such a place and learning those things when she was supposed to be cared for by her parents.
The despicable leaders of this coven not even able to take care of their daughter that they tossed away. But I felt there was more to the story so I wouldn't judge... yet.
Her eyes were still shining a bright red when I reached out. "Faye. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." She cleaned her bloodied hands in the even more b.l.o.o.d.y rag which made no sense but I didn't question it. I only wanted her to feel better and not regret what she's done.
Though when she flinched from me, I couldn't keep the sinking feeling within me. Her reaction to me hurting me even more than I wanted it to but I couldn't help it.
We were mates and I never-
I growled at myself, clearly remembering when I harmed her in a fit of rage after finding out Faye and Xenon were the same person. I would never forgive myself for doing that to her.
She stumbled ahead while the crowd of mages moved away quickly not wanting to get in her way making my heart clench at the sight of her hopelessness walk. I was about to say something again but I was interrupted.
"Daughter. Don't leave yet." His words sliced through everyone's thoughts and caused Faye to stop, her body rigid and she knew that the words were pointed at her. If I thought this moment couldn't be even more f.u.c.ked up, Ivan officially won the award of the worst f.u.c.king comforter.
Maybe even the worst f.u.c.king father.
"Excuse me...?" She mumbled as her voice sounded raw and full with fury but apparently Ivan didn't take the hint and continued on.
"You've finally come home. After all these years you've made it back. I'm so-" She flinched away from his hand touching her arm, the pain and anger welling up in her eyes looking so painful that it hurt me even watching this.
This wasn't going to end well...
"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d." She snarls, shoving him hard and causing him to fall on his back. He stared up at her with a shocked expression when her breathing sped up making me step forward. "You f.u.c.king a.s.shole! You b.a.s.t.a.r.ds threw me aside like horrible! You expect me to love on you like the 'wonderful' father you've been?! You son of a b.i.t.c.h! I-"
"It's okay. Come on. Let's leave before anything gets out of h"
"No!" She threw my hand away from her, not allowing me to get her out of here before she could get more hurt. "This man threw me out when I was born yet kept his other children! Was I deformed or were you afraid of what I could become?! Huh?! I'm so sick of this! Repeatedly being disappointed and now that I finally feel at home, the league wants to tear me away from that! I can't do this!" Not a second later, she disapeared from our site and away from the issues that she's left behind.

Son of a b.i.t.c.h!
I threw my fist into the tree trying to release some of my anger for the despicable parents but it wasn't working at all. It only enraged me, even more, hurting myself rather than inflicting pain.
Everything within me throbbing in a certain anger and misery that all of my sane thoughts left my mind making me hit the tree again. I needed to hurt something really f.u.c.king bad.
Throwing another fist into the tree, the tree started to shake from the intensity of my violent hits. All the anger from Zavier never telling me we were mates and the revelation of Ivan- my father- coming out sent me into more anger than before.
It was useless to be angry over this all, that it never mattered whether I figured out who my family was. But now that I knew, it mattered because Ivan and Dawn acted as if it wasn't even their fault that I was abandoned.
And then Zavier keeping such information from me angers me even more, realizing that I wasn't trustworthy to him. He kept such information for a reason.

Whether he didn't trust me or he'd never planned to tell me.
I was angry and I couldn't help myself from hitting the tree again. Only this time I hurt my hand making me curse loudly.
"f.u.c.k! f.u.c.k f.u.c.k f.u.c.k f.u.c.k f.u.c.k!" I bellow, clutching onto my hand tightly as burned the tree that I was tearing apart and watched as the flames crawled up the tree. Destroying everything it touched much like how I am.
Ivan and Dawn...
My hands gripped in a tight fist when I felt a shiver of anger ripple through me.
I promised myself I'd get revenge on the people who threw me in the hands of the a.s.sa.s.sins. I've prayed for this moment all my life, to finally get the revenge and answers I've always begged for.
Now that I am faced with my parents in front of me, it only made me more upset which turned into anger quickly. Hating the way I was caring for my biological parents when they threw me aside.
My anger flew through me as I heard the storm above me brewing into the thunderous and traitorous pain I felt. It was hard keeping everything within me but I promised myself not to destroy the forest because of my anger.
Before I even realized what happened, I was slammed against the ground by a wolf as another few wolves came barling in behind. The wolf snarled down at me in warning when I launched it away from me with my legs.
The sharpness in its eyes mattered nothing to me as I slowly stood up and felt my power circle around me. The three wolves stood around me, prepared to f.u.c.king die before something increased their stamina and placed a shield on them.
"You won't be harming them with me around." A familiar voice alarms me when I spun around ready to throw a burst of flames but I was thrown to the ground, making the flame hit a nearby tree.
I spit out some of the blood welling in my mouth and pushed off the ground once again, giving the vampire a sharp glare while he stood in front of Claire.
"I won't be letting you harm my bride either." He snarls dangerously at me. I started to chuckle, but it turned into a s.a.d.i.s.tic laugh that made everyone look at one another.
After a few moments, my laughter died out and I wiped away a tear from my eye before throwing a whirlwind towards the lovely couple. They barked surprised while the vampire quickly collected Claire and sped out of the way in time.
"You won't be quick enough for long, little vampire." I snarl with a dark grin on my face, the vampire narrowing its eyes at me for a long moment.
"Don't do this, Faye. We are here to help you through this. Zaiver-"
"DON'T MENTION HIS NAME!" I roar, throwing electricity in her direction when the vampire sped away again. The storm above crackled in anger as hard raindrops started coming down from the skies.
They looked at me with shock in their eyes, clearly surprised that I enough power to generate that strong of a current. A wolf growled lowly at me and made me turn my attention to the brown-eyed beast.
It lunged towards me while I dodged out of the way and s.n.a.t.c.hed its tail through my fingers. I flung the wolf far enough to slam against the tree a few feet away, one of the other wolf's whimpering and diving for it. The other wolf took the chance to jump at me.
I was about to cast a spell but the vampire grabbed my hand and pointed it towards the sky, fire blazing above us when the wolf latched onto my stomach making me scream. In a flash of pain and anger, everything around me was thrown off of me in a surge of power.
My stomach clenched in new pain when I panted heavily and noticed the vampire against the tree with a branch breaching his stomach like the bite marks on mine. Claire was on the ground and groaned loudly, her head b.l.o.o.d.y from the impact.
There was a low growl as I spun around and saw another wolf, this one was large and authority came off it in waves. I watched while another wolf dove for the injured and shifted quickly to access their wounds. But my eyes stayed attached to the wolf trying to bend my will.
It was stupid to think a stare down was going to change my will to fight.
My side gave off a sharp pain making me wince but I ignored it and turned to see that Claire was holding her vampire closely, tears running down her face.
It was stupid that all the anger within me was going away at the sight of my hurt friends.
As the anger seeped out of my bones, I stumbled a little towards Claire and fell on the ground beside her. My side throbbing now that my adrenaline was seeping from my body as she flinched away from me.
"Don't f.u.c.king touch he-"
"Shh. Rest, kid." I ran my fingers over his eyes and forced him into sleep and ran my weak hand over his wound. Without warning, I pulled the branch through him making Claire choke on a sob that hurt me. "Sana," I whisper, a faint glow coming from my hands and st.i.tching his wound together before touching my side. "Translatio." I felt my blood come from my wound as I tilted his mouth open and made my blood go into his mouth.
Claire held her mate when I transferred enough blood to hear his steady breathing making me stop the spell. I stood up, nearly falling to the ground but I held onto a tree nearby me and clutched onto it.
The anger slowly crept back into me as I pressed my hand to one of my temples and whispered to myself. "Resit. Resit the anger and sorrow."
A soft hand rested on my shoulder making me jump and snap my gaze at Daniel, his dark eyes looking concerned as I held onto myself more. The small comfort was enough to send me into a spiral of self-pity.
"I'm sorry... I'm so so f.u.c.king sorry. I don't know what came over me. I-I was overtaken by the anger and darkness within me. It's no excuse and I understand if y-" My words were soon drowned out by the fierce hug Daniel gave me, his arms tightening around me for a moment. I held onto his arms with my shaking hands and choked on my emotion.
He was like a father that I've always wanted.
The father I've always needed.
"Daniel... I found my biological father, but I consider you as my true father." I confess feeling a tear run down my cheek while his arms tightened around me. More tears spilled from my eyes when I broke down and clutched onto him tightly. "I'm so sorry for everything!" My body trembled terribly as the people around gave small comfort and looked over their wounds.
The thoughts of harming them caused me even more pain than they even believed.
I felt my mind just shattering at the thought causing me to slump against Daniel, in seek of comfort.
