"Madam Chen, despite your age, you still look so young. Why don't you try getting into the entertainment industry? With your mere looks, you can easily win countless awards!" Lin Min flattered Ye Zhouyan as she messaged her shoulders. 

"True! I have catered to many ladies at your age. Among all of them, your skin is the most natural and the youngest." The woman who was currently performing a manicure procedure on her nails said.

"No wonder all those ladies in the upper circles are jealous of you." Lin Min smiled.

After all, Ye Zhouyan's husband had notable shares in the Fu entertainment. If Lin Min could get a word or two from Ye Zhouyan's side, she could be scouted by some nice manager in that big entertainment industry.

It was her final year at the university, soon she will have to find an agent and she wanted to enter the industry through a famous agency.

At present, Fu Entertainment was among the top in the food chain.

And let's not talk about the engagement Ye Zhouyan's daughter had with the CEO of the company, Fu Jianguo.

Minding everything, it was best for Lin Min's career to get on Ye Zhouyan's good side. For that purpose, she had been constantly sucking up to Chen Ying and would frequently come to the Chen family luxurious Manor to offer her company to Madam Chen.

Hearing Lin Min's words, Ye Zhouyan looked pleased. However, she was long used to be praised by people. Ever since her husband older brother and his wife pa.s.sed away, she had been enjoying all the privileges they used to.

"You must be joking with me. Even though I do not look old, this thing is still better left for the younger generation. How about this? I talk to Fu Jianguo regarding you. I have seen you have quite some looks too."

Lin Min's eyes brightened. "Then I will have to thank Madam Chen." She bowed deeply.

At this point, house butler Zhen rushed to them. "Madam Chen, there is someone at the main gate."

Ye Zhouyan frowned, looking somewhat unsatisfied. 

Who was here to come uninvited and spoiling her time?

"Tell them I won't entertain any uninvited guest." Ye Zhouyan said with a proud face.

Since Elder Chen pa.s.sed away, the number of people who would come to get her favor was no less in any means. If she didn't express some pride and welcomed everyone with open arms, what was the use of all this wealth they painstakingly obtained?

"But Madam Chen..." The butler appeared to be hesitant to leave.

"Did you not listen to what Madam Chen said? Do you think she can entertain just any person who walks out from the streets?" Lin Min criticized loudly. Ye Zhouyan's eyes widened immediately. "By second Miss, you mean..."

"Miss Chen Yi."

Following his words, silence ensued for a while. Ye Zhouyan frowned. "What is she doing here? If she is here to as us for charity, you can directly kick her out. After what she did, it was enough tolerance from our side that we didn't report her to the authorities."

"Miss Chen Yi said she is here to discuss something."

When Lin Min heard Chen Yi's name, she was reminded of the incident back in that high-end restaurant. Hate and resentment emerged from the depth of her heart. "Madam Chen, that Chen Yi is really shameless. Ever since she was disowned by you guys, she has fallen so low to engage in all sorts of shameless activities just to gather some wealth."

"Is that so?" Ye Zhouyan appeared to be delighted and wanted to hear about the dest.i.tute state Chen Yi was in. 

"Yes. The other day I was out, she had seduced and slept with a man from the management staff in the restaurant. Using that, she humiliated me and Hua Jin."

"What can we do? As my husband had once said... A good upbringing would bear fruit if the seed is rancid. Even her parents would be cursing her from heavens."

Lin Min's lips pursed. Her eyes glinted with evil intent. She found an opportunity to give vent to her frustration after suffering humiliation from that vixen's hand that day at the restaurant. "How about this? Madam Chen, you go and teach that witch a lesson?" She suggested.

Hearing her words, Ye Zhouyan seemed to be contemplating for a while. "I don't think that's a bad idea. As her elder, I must discipline her." Inwardly, she also wanted to see with her own eyes just what dest.i.tute state Chen Yi had been reduced to.

That vixen, Chen Yi, always used to outshine her precious Chen Ying.

Now that heavens had sent her the opportunity to witness that Chen Yi at her lowest in her life, why would Ye Zhouyan hesitate?

Her speculation was that Chen Yi was here to beg for money.

After all, since the last Ye Zhouyan had heard about Chen Yi from Chen Ying, it was that Chen Yi was in a very poor state. 

Ye Zhouyan planned of making Chen Yi kneel and apologize for all the disrespect in the past. That would be her condition for helping her out.

Thinking about it, a smile formed on Ye Zhouyan's lips. "Let's go. Second Elder Miss has visited after a long time.. We shouldn't be keeping her waiting."
