"Gabriel," Alex says as they shake hands and hug the way they always do, a quick pat on the back.

"So, what is it that you seek from me?" I ask.

"Sakura sent her p.a.w.ns to attack us, she thinks we don't know," Gabriel spits in disgust as he adds on, "the wh.o.r.e thinks herself Queen."

"Does she now?" I can't help but bare my fangs at this.

"Yes," Tessa says as she retracts her claws and Crystel slides-down the wall. The hound has changed since last I saw her, both physically and internally. Her once waist length hair hangs loosely around her shoulders in intricate layers, and her eyes seem to be the cooler of emeralds with sparks of ruby.
