Mea decided to make them something quickly before they hit the hay. Allen was gently rubbing his arm to sooth it. It was still aching if after all the repairs had been made.

He had to say that he was impressed. The level of damage he sustained on his arm was pretty bad. Seven fractures were detected, but it was all fixed within an hour. Man, he lived in a bizarrely primitive time.

manipulate at all) Rarity: Common. Threat: Extremely low

D = Basically the normal being. Rarity: Low

C = Beings capable of doing at least the basic ball type attacks. Rarity: Slightly uncommon.

Threat: Low to medium

B = Beings of some innate power. Is relatively good at manipulation. Rarity: Uncommon

Threat: Medium to High

A = Beings adapt at manipulation. Tends to have all sorts of boosts that they can employ.

Rarity: Fairly Rare. Threat: High

S = Beings that have the potential to disrupt a city. Needs specialised warriors to intervene.

Rarity: Rare. Threat: Very High

SS = Beings capable of severe city-wide disruption. Needs specialised warriors above the rank of S to

intervene. Rarity: Very Rare. Threat: Extremely High

SSS = Beings capable of City level destruction. Needs specialised warriors above the rank of SS to

Intervene. Rarity: Ultra Rare. Threat: City level threat

Demi = A being considered a national level disruption. Usually requires the aid of the 69 to

intervene. Rarity: 1 in 500 000. Threat: National level threat

t.i.tan = Beings capable of destroying countries. Usually requires the aid of the 69 to

intervene. Though some of the 69 is considered top tier t.i.tan level.

Rarity: 1 in 5 000 000. Threat: Country Destruction level threat

69 = Considered to be the pinnacle level threat, capable of destroying planets. Though some of the

weaker 69 are considered as top tier t.i.tan level. Requires the intervention of on of the top three

of the 69. Rarity: Only 69 exists. Threat: Planetary.

Allen looked at all the information. So, was he considered a double S?

"Well, no at least I know where I am."

A notification goes off in the flat, "Mister Andrew Cheres is at the door. Should I let him in?"

Mea frowned after hearing this news, "What's he doing here? Let him in."

Andrew saw Allen and Mea talking to each other as he smiled, "My dear Mea, are you ok?"

"What do you want dad? You didn't even show up last time and I nearly died back then?

Andrew sighed as he took a seat, "I heard you fought with an S cla.s.s a.s.sa.s.sin."

Allen shrugged, "Doubt that. a.s.sa.s.sins tends to hit from the shadows. These guys don't".

"But does that still mean you won?"

Allen shrugged, "Yeah, I guess so."

He hands over a small circular device the size of his thumbnail to Allen, but MeLing grabbed it even before he could take it, "Dad, he doesn't know how to run certain things."

Andrew taped his forehead, "Ah, of course I completely forgot about that."

MeLing placed her thumbs in the circle then on she placed it on the table.

A holo of a creature with horns covering its body appeared, "A SS rank beast. It has been making its round around the city perimeter. If that beast decides to attack this city, it will be in some serious trouble."

Allen studies the holo for a bit while he rubbed his hands, "Ooo, a puppy. I want a puppy!"

Mea pats Allen's head, "Sometime I wonder about you. So, what has this got to do with us?"

"Allen while you are not strictly cla.s.sified as a part of the 69. I would request you aid to help us in bringing this beast down."

Allen frowned, "No. I just came from a battle. Going into another one would just be straight up r.e.t.a.r.ded."

"We aren't expecting you to go kill him right now. We are still getting the necessary forces to deal with the smaller ones in the area. You should also know that you are the only guy in the city that is probably strong enough to fight this thing."

"Why does the person need to be a part of this city? We're all a part of a country after all."

"You don't know politics, do you?"

"Swallow your pride and ask for aid."

"Are you not a resident of this city?"

Allen shook his head, "Nope, I am apart of some lawless rinky-d.i.n.k ruin."

Mea sighed, "Father, Allen does have a point. He isn't here to promote your political movements."

Andrew furrowed his brow out of frustration, "So be it. Then for letting a S-rank wanted criminal go you are under arrest."

Allen flew into a rage. He grabbed Andrew by his collar and shoved him into a wall, and lifted him like he was nothing, "I DID IT FOR YOUR f.u.c.kING DAUGHTER! YOU STUPID PIECE OF s.h.i.t!"

AR49 chimed up, "Should I call the authorities miss MeLing?"

Mea immediately interceded, "No AR49. Allen, cool your jets!". Allen lets go of Andrew, "Thank f.u.c.k your daughter is here."

Andrew rubbed his throat, "And now for a.s.saulting a government official."

"THEN WHY DON'T I JUST SLAUGHTER EVERY GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL!"

This even ticked of Mea, "ALLEN! That's enough! Dad, this is a new low, even for you."

Andrew straightened his clothes, "My dear, we will be in a stronger position. Which would mean getting into a more respect. Which would allow us more governmental resources."

A vein popped up on Mea's head, "Dad, you are making a long-term enemy for a short-term alliance. Allen is the 70th Awakened! He will eventually become as strong as them. Then what are you going to do? The 69 will support him. Then what? We will all be screwed!"

Andrew raised his hand to stop her, "We can come to an agreement. I sc.r.a.p the 'criminal charge' against you. We will not abuse that authority ever. How does that sound."

Allen was fuming. All this c.r.a.p for doing the right thing! He looked at MeLing for guidance.

Mea was just as p.i.s.sed, "What choice do we have?"

Andrew smiled, "You can look at the light at the end of the tunnel. You will be earning quite the amount of respect."

Allen scowled at him, "I am supposed to keep a low profile."

"Well, yes, but we can keep your name out of the news."

Allen dug his nails into one of the sofas close to him, and begrudgingly said, "Call me one you're ready."

Mea Ling placed her hand on Allen's back to try and soothe him, "Dad I think you should leave."

Andrew nodded and made his way to the door, "For what its worth. I really am appreciative for your timely intervention with my daughter. I just really need a win. a.s.sa.s.sins infiltrating my city was already bad enough as it was."
