Husband You're So Bad Chapter 15 Part2

She had to go to the hospital tomorrow. She held some responsibility for his condition.

Early the next morning, Lin Meng got up. She made some porridge, poured it in a thermos, and sent Huai'an to the kindergarten. She took a taxi to the hospital.

When she reached the hospital, she realized that Gu Yubai had been discharged last night. After seeing the shocking wound on his back Lin Meng was worried. The injury was so heavy,  why did he still insist on leaving the hospital?

Where could he be now?

Lin Meng stood at the entrance of the hospital for a while and remembered the place he once took her to. After much thought and consideration, she decided to go and see him. Although she had been there once she had a good memory. Going by taxi, she found the destination.

Qin Yue did not expect that she would find such a place. This woman had a conscience, then.

“Gu Shao is upstairs.” Opening the door, Qin Yue said to Lin Meng. He glanced at the thermos bottle in her hand.

Gu Yubai didn't eat anything from last night since he came back from the hospital.

He didn't live here much. So except for regular cleaning, it was not maintained. There are no ingredients to cook with. Besides eating out, food was not available in the home.

Gu Yubai refused to go back home even if there were doctors and servants at the main house.

Lin Meng found the kitchen. The utensils were clean. They looked new as if they had never been used.

She took a bowl, a spoon, and after cleaning them, poured the porridge from the thermos into a bowl. She then took it upstairs.

When she pushed the door, she saw Gu Yubai sitting on the bed reading some doc.u.ments. With injuries on his back, he leaned forward, avoiding contact with any surface. There were a lot of papers placed beside the bed.

Why work when sick? In recent years he had completely taken over his grandfather's company. He used to be busy when they were together; she could only a.s.sume that it was worse now.

“A Yue, go out, I will call you if I need something.” When he heard the door, Gu Yubai a.s.sumed it was Qin Yue who had entered. He did not raise his head. Recently, the company's workload had increased. Although there were many people to handle business, some matters required his involvement.

Lin Meng stood at the door. For a moment, she wanted to turn around and leave. She had been scared of him since the time they met again. She got anxious. Standing stunned, she did not move.
