Yue Chen Yin Chapter 8 Part1

"Qing Qing!" A hoa.r.s.e scream of fright can be heard from the back.

Being hung out of the battlement, I turn my head back with tears in my eyes. What enters my eyes is Mother whose garments become dirtied due to her grovelling on the ground with her hairdo messed up and tears in her eyes. The small-headed man behind her shows no mercy and pulls tightly onto mother's hair. He stepped on mother's body to pin her on the ground.

"Please, do not harm my daughter, I beg you~" A heartbreaking voice can be heard behind me, it is so sad that one can't bear to listen to it.

"Bai- Zi- Qi!" Hearing a furious howl, I try my best to look below the wall. Father slaps the back of the horse and rush out. The red crown above his helmet shakes along with his movement. With his glaive up straight besides him, murderous intent can be felt from his voice: "Hurry and let my daughter go!"

"Oh? Let go?" The brute with Bai in his name says so in a lightly and leisure manner. Out of a sudden, his tone changed drastically and his voice comes out coldly, "Then I shall do as what the General says!"

"No!" The grip on my leg disappears and what follows is the heartbroken scream of mother. I, just like a fallen leaf, plunges down into this cold autumn wind. "Dad!" I open my mouth in an astringing manner and tears begin to fall. My head b.u.mps into his embrace. At this moment, a great fear begins to submerge my heart. All sorts of emotions well up in my heart, making me feel complex. Different sorts of sour feelings slowly fills up my heart, and runs warmly within my blood.

"General Han really does have great skills!" Bai Zi Qi's brows slightly crease together and the corner of his mouth twitches. Appearing to be leisure and carefree,
