To experience Magic Card Billboards, the best place is Dong Shang Citadel’s1 most bustling commercial street – Gold Avenue.
Gold Avenue is one of the oldest streets in Dong Shang Citadel, having existed since the beginning. As the commercial centre of the city, Gold Street has skysc.r.a.pers towering everywhere, crowds of people surging about, and stores aplenty. Almost all the top businesses had a presence here. This is a very appropriate place to experience Magic Cards.
Every shop here, small or large, all had Magic Card Billboards. When evening came, the lights from all the Magic Card Billboards shined beautifully, making it seem like a fantasy world. Gold Street’s night scene was appreciated by locals and tourists alike.
Thinking carefully, Chen Mu was surprised to discover that this would be his first time entering Gold Street.
As one of the local attractions, Gold Street does not allow the homeless or beggars to enter. And after his homeless period, Chen Mu had always been obsessed with studying Cards; shopping for things beyond the necessities had never pa.s.sed his mind.
So many people!
This was the first feeling Chen Mu had entering into Gold Street. With everyone crowding about, he had to be careful as it was very easy to b.u.mp into others. This made him a little uncomfortable.
But very soon, he set his attention on the stores’ Magic Card Billboards.
Plump b.r.e.a.s.t.s and bountiful booty with a slim waist. Bright red lips, white teeth and smokey alluring eyes. Chen Mu was somewhat puzzled as he saw most of the billboards’ images were actually beauties. These beautiful ladies were either standing or bending forward, making a “please enter” gesture. Cleavage was on full display, tempting the viewers.
He even saw that as many pedestrians walked past a beauty, a hand will intentionally or unintentionally pa.s.s through the chest of that image.
Chen Mu was speechless. Is this what’s popular now?
As he kept walking, Chen Mu only glanced and then ignored all those Magic Card advertis.e.m.e.nts using beauties. Soon, he found that the bigger the business, the more creative and sophisticated their Magic Card advertis.e.m.e.nt was.
For example, the Magic Card Billboard he is currently looking at. The image it was displaying was very large, around two stories high.
Chen Mu just stupidly stood at the door of this business, his face staring upwards at the images playing on the billboard, losing himself in the illusion.
A dark night sky looked down upon a city with tall buildings all ablaze with light.
A solemn man in black stood on top of a tall building, beholding the view with indifference.
In a dark street corner, a blind man seemed to have detected something, his empty eyes faced towards the distant horizon.
In a moonlight room, a woman wearing tight brown leather was gently wiping the card on her left hand. Suddenly, she raised her head.
A series of aged, youthful, beautiful, or ugly faces were constantly flashing by.
The background music at this moment suddenly tensed. Looking down from the sky, multiple shadows could be seen jumping through the tall buildings; these people displaying great skill and agility. Their faces were serious with the heavy drums in the soundtrack causing people’s heart to clench.
More and more people appeared, all quickly running in the same direction.
A beast howl that Chen Mu had never heard before roared out, deep and heavy. And as if responding to that howl, a series of beasts cries was then heard, their sounds crashing forward.
Outside the city, beasts from everywhere started rushing frantically towards the city like a flood.
Those running sped up ever so slightly.
Finally, the two sides clashed together!
A fiery hot dragon, a wave of cold crescent light, a brilliant meteor shower ….
One by one they appear in this s.p.a.ce. The changes in colour and brightness dazzled the eye. Fierce collisions brought about numerous sparks were lighting up the night. The fighting felt almost suffocating in its intensity.
The man in black was surrounded by a flying fiery dragon. His every attack was heavy, sometimes bringing about explosions. Right now, he appeared just like a G.o.d of war.
The woman wearing tight brown leather deftly wove between the attacks of the wild beasts, while pale crescent blade lights spewed forth from her hands, accurately hitting every target. Awesomely cool.
The blind man had a bamboo cane in his hand and was pa.s.sing through the animals like a ghost. Every time the bamboo cane gently struck the ground, hundreds of dots of light would appear out of thin air behind him. Gently striking the ground again, these light dots would burst out in one direction, ripping through the beasts and leaving a trail of light like a meteor shower.
……
Undoubtedly, the humans won the battle in the end. But in the final close-up, a logo could be seen in the Cards of these heroes’ Instruments2 – Shuanghuan3 Card Shop.
Way too amazing!
Chen Mu could not help but be amazed. It was evident that the level of this Magic Card Billboard was not high, only two-stars. But its content was very rich, and the characters and buildings within were extremely realistic. Most importantly, its visual effects were very strong.
This is a very successful Magic Card Billboard, full of attraction!
Chen Mu could also guess, such a Magic Card Billboard’s price must be very expensive. Though the Magic Card was evidently not a high level one, the difficulty of producing it was quite high. With its rich amount of content, a single two-star Magic Card’s capacity was definitely not enough. The advertis.e.m.e.nt must use at least five Magic Cards, but its transition was so seamless that only Card Creators would notice.
This world really has some capable talents, ah! Producing a two-star Magic Card to this level wasn’t something anyone can do. At least, Chen Mu knows he is still far from this stage. This experience could be said to have widened Chen Mu’s knowledge.
The saleswoman inside Shuanghuan Card Shop was quite puzzled. This man staring at the Magic Card Billboard had been standing there for half an hour. This Magic Card Billboard was commissioned two years ago after spending a large sum of money and when it was released, a huge sensation swept through Dong Shang Citadel. Thinking back to the advertis.e.m.e.nt’s heyday, her heart is still filled with pride. Every day, large amounts of people gathered to view this ad. And from that time, the shop’s sales started increasing at an alarming rate.
But even the best advertis.e.m.e.nt would become stale after continuously playing for two years. Gradually, fewer and fewer people came to view the ad and nowadays, pretty much no one looks at it. Management had originally intended on replacing the Magic Card Billboard but the original Creator had pa.s.sed away. Though they asked other well-known Card Creators, the results were nowhere nearly as good as the original. Thus, the ad hasn’t been replaced. The lady was filled with emotion that there were still people interested in the advertis.e.m.e.nt these days! Really a rare specimen, ah.
After a while, that strange youth was still staring at the Magic Card Billboard. The Card saleslady felt that if he kept standing there business would be affected, so she took the initiative.
“h.e.l.lo, can I ask if you’re interested in buying something?”
Chen Mu startled, cleared his mind and then shook his head: “Not interested.” He understood the Card saleslady’s intent, so didn’t say anything else and turned to leave.
