The Vampire Project 31 Who Are You?

Day one of the team building activities, both bosses and employees are excited to kick it off with a survival game early in the morning. Employees are group into partic.i.p.ants, game initiators, pit stops and safety personnels. There are only 50 partic.i.p.ants prioritizing their artists and bosses. All 5 of them are having different groups consist of 10 members each. The game is about who gets to the finish line wins with a twist. They're gonna explore the island and gather set of maps, there clues up to where the next map is located. Once all 7 maps are gathered it will point where the finish line is. There are bonus tasks where they will be rewarded with tools or buffs depending on the task itself. They have 8 hours to play the game. The winning group will be rewarded generously by the company. As for the groupings, Slacoviches team are consist of the employees under the PR department, Diego's team are from his department, Li's team are made up of the people from the HR department, while Tyler's team consist of the artists of their entertainment company and Ara's team are from the security department. All teams gathered in the starting area which is the beach. The leaders of the group has the first clue to the first piece of the map. Every group has their own cameraman who'll film their movements and conversation. As they heard the starting shot, all teams are ready to move out.

The first clue given to the teams are different to lead them to different maps until each team gets the clue that the other team has. Tyler's team have their clue which states that- "Underneath the burning heat, the raging waves that hits the rock scatters droplets of sea water." All of them pauses for a minute trying to figure out the clue. Tyler's team heads out to the rock formations at the far end of the beach. They're the first team to leave the starting point.

Slacovich's team receive their clue and brainstormed on it together. It says- "I can give you roof under the rain but be warned, I am filled with darkness and no one knows what's hidden in my deepest part." First thing that comes to mind is a cave. They al set out t search for a cave which is for sure it's inside the forest.

"Li's team already heading into the forest a bit ahead of Slacovich's team. Their clue states- "The tallest tree in the middle which one eye dares to look." Li saw a strange looking tree in front of the tallest tree when she was sending out the drone to look for preys. As she read the clue she figured it could be that tree.

Diego's team tries to sort out the clue which they find confusing. "When I look at the east I can see the cliff but when I look at the west the same cliff appears, where am I?" This clue gives them a hard time. From their position at the beach they can clearly see the cliff. Tyler's team is heading towards that direction but stops at the rock formation before it. He tells his team to just go to the cliff first and figure it on the way.

Lastly Ara's team moves out and heads south from the hotel. There's an area there where unused materials are stored. There's no stockroom for it and it's totally exposed. Their clue says- "I'm just lying around, you may step on me but you'll never notice yet you'll probably say this place needs tidying." They can only think of those pile of junks.

Each teams heads towards the areas where they think fits the clue. Tyler's team happily unfold the first piece of the map. To make the game last longer, they need to search for the second clue as well in the same location where they find the map piece. All members of his team search for it in every holes in the rocks, even dug out some sand within the area and moves rocks that can be moved. One of his member finds it under the rocks which touches the water. It's inside a small bottle. As they read their next clue for the second piece of the map all of them heads out to their next location. As they all tries to solve the clues and collect all 7 pieces of the map, someone in particular is already at the island waiting to strike. Whether he's an enemy or an ally they doesn't know yet. As Deigo's team starts searching on the cliff's surrounding, he looks at the clear sea water. He gazes on his reflection on the water then realizes that the map must be somewhere in between the water and the edge of the cliff. He hurried to the middle slowly climbing the stiff sides of the cliff. He sees a small folded paper inside a bottle and reach out to get it. But before he can even get a hold of it, he fell down into the waters. His team members screamed calling out his name. The safety personnel immediately rush to the area to check on him. Some men dives to save him but just for a few second he just disappeared as soon as he hit the water. The game was cancelled and all helped to find Diego. Minutes turned to hours but still no sign of him. The divers are exhausted but they can't see him under the waters. Slacovich knows that Diego won't just die on such an accident but they can't help but worry. They split in two teams and helped the others look for him. Li and Slacovich heads towards the top of the cliff to have a good view on the surroundings. It'll be easier for them to spot Diego's location from the top. Tyler and Ara follows the current of the water. It's direction may lead them to where the water took Diego. From above, Li spotted something unusual. She told Slacovich about it and both of them are wondering what it is.

"Slacovich, am I seeing things?"

"What do you mean?"

"Look at that." She pointed out a little circular light not too far away from their location. It seems moving and getting bigger by the moment.

"I don't really know what that is. Let's better ask Tyler about it." He called Tyler through his phone who at that time notices the same thing in the water. Before heading to their location, Tyler told the others that everything's fine. That Diego was carried by the current and just resting in a cottage not far away. They all went back to the hotel to rest. Tyler and Ara climbs the cliff pretty easily without anyone around. The four of them studied the light and tried to figure out what it is.

"Tyler any idea?" Ara asked worriedly.

"If I'm not mistaken, that's a vortex."

"A vortex? You mean portal to another world or such?" Li's eyes widens.

"I don't know why there's a vortex in here. But if that appears just in time as Diego disappeared. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the incident."

"What do we do now?" Slacovich steps at the edge of the cliff.

"One way to find out." Tyler grins in excitement. Since he was young he dreamt of inventing a portal which could connect him to other dimension. He was told that it's impossible but right now the light sparks hope in his heart. Whatever it is, whether a vortex or not he must find out where the souce is coming from. They all turned into a bat and flies towards the vortex. They stop above it giving it a closer look. All they can see is just white light.

"What now?" Ara asked with a tone of hesitation.

"I can sense Diego from there." Li moves closer to the vortex but as soon as she flies closer she was sucked up by it. Slacovich tries to pull her back but was also suck inside it. Tyler dives into it followed by Ara.

While inside the vortex they felt a sudden change of their body's figure. They're like water following the twirling flow of the vortex' energy. In a few second they arrived in a big laboratory. All of them are confined in a big cage. They feel groggy and weak after such experience. They saw Diego lying down on a bed in the middle of the plave they're in. Seems like he's ready to be tested. He's half naked and fully locked on the bed with different equipment surrounding him. They all called out his name but he seems unconscious.

"Diego! Deigo! Wake up!" No response from him. A voice catch their attention and they all went on guard.

"There's no sense on calling him. He can't hear you. He's in a very deep sleep as of the moment." A woman's voice so sweet yet so evil.

"Who are you and what do you want from us?" Ara bursted out.

"My, my what a tough girl." The woman steps out and they were stunned. She seems like the same age as Ara.

"You're also just a girl!"

"I'm not!" She presses a b.u.t.ton and the four of them gets electrified. Screaming from the pain but still are able to stand up.

"You need more than that to take us down." Slacovich glared at her making her terrified. She presses the b.u.t.ton again raising it up to its max capacity until the cage burst out. The thought of them on their knees makes her confident that she can contain them like a prisoner. But she's wrong. All four of them are still on their feet, wounded yet standing straight all glaring at her. She felt chills down to her spine and steps back.

"Stay on where you are! Or I'll kill your friend."

"Kill whom?" Diego removes everything that's attach to his body and break free from the locks. He slowly walks towards the girl with b.l.o.o.d.y eyes.

"You gotta be kidding me." She steps back with trembling knees causing her to lose her balance. Diego then catch her from behind but she pushes him away.

"You need to calm down. I bet your smart enough to play with fire." Tyler steps in and offers a hand. She's still speechless. She never thought that the information she gathered were all true and the evidences are right in front of her. Who is she? All of them wants to know the answer.
