Zhao Ying carried her child and said helplessly, “There’s nothing we can do about it. After all, Gu Jin has a lot of fans. Involving our child early on would secure his future. Li Ran tilted her head to look at the little guy and she smiled at him.

The child smiled back sweetly and thanked her, “Thank you, sister. My name is Gu Zhao, you can call me Zhao Zhao.”

“Okay, my name is Li Ran. You can just call me big sister!”

‘Such a charming child.’

Li Ran’s mood had already improved. She was not as depressed as she was before.

Bringing them along might not be a bad idea after all.

After everyone got into the car, Li Ran opened a bottle of mineral water and began rinsing her mouth. A sour taste was lingering due to her vomiting earlier.

Gu Jin watched with his mouth agape.

He did not expect to meet such a rich person!

She did not rinse her mouth once but three times and had already used half a bottle of water!

Li Ran raised her head and her eyes met Gu Jin’s. She chuckled and signaled to the back of the car with her eyes.

“There’s one more bottle of water in the car. Take it.”

“Really? But it’s the last bottle.”

Gu Jin’s eyes had already slipped into the direction of the bottled water. His desires were fully displayed on his face, but he did not take any action.

Li Ran said firmly, “Don’t worry. Just drink it. I still have half a bottle for myself.”

Gu Jin thanked her profusely. He picked up the bottle of water and handed it to Zhao Ying. She was delighted.

“We get to drink clean water!”

Li Ran had noticed that their lips were dry and cracked. It was obvious that they did not get much water to drink.

Zhao Ying took the bottle and carefully opened it. She took a sip and let out a sigh. Now that she had drunk some water, it made her feel even more thirsty. She really wanted to gobble up the entire bottle. Even then, it would not be enough!

Gu Zhao looked at the bottle of water eagerly.

The dimples on his face showed when he smiled, making him look even more adorable.
