The Concubine's Daughter Came Around Chapter 1: Fell Off The Cliff And Had A Time-Travel

Ouch!

The last memory in Dong Ling's mind was that she jumped off the cliff bravely and saved that guy without hesitation.

With a start, she opened her eyes in a split second, but was splashed with cold water from head to toe!

"Who are you?" asked she.

Before she finished, the chilling water was poured over her body again and again. She shivered and suddenly sprang forward.

"Ah!"

The maid, who was splashing Dong Ling, screamed when she fell on the ground. She gave Dong Ling a ferocious stare and threw the gourd ladle towards her.

"You're dead meat!" snapped Dong Ling when she dodged and raised her fists.

Come on. She was a professional fitness coach who knew some fighting skills. No one ever dared to bully her like this.

Having punched the maid down, Dong Ling shook her head to get rid of the cold water on her face. It wasn't until then that she saw clearly who had hurt her.  

It was a girl with a pale face. She had her hair in a bun with a hairpin through it and was dressed up like a maid in ancient China.

Dong Ling hesitated, debating whether to punch her again. And she looked around immediately.

This was a broken woodshed where cold wind blew in through the window and the door creaked.

Turning her gaze back at the girl who was playing dead on the ground, Dong Ling raised her hand again.

Slap!

"Ah! Stop slapping me! Stop! I'm sorry!" screamed the maid.

"Tell me! Where are we? Why did you kidnap me? What do you want?" asked Dong Ling. Someone dared to kidnap her? He must be risking his neck.

"Please spare me, Miss Ling! I confess," said the maid, "that Miss Feixue asked me to do so. Please spare me!"

The maid shouted, but Dong Ling was totally confused. She exclaimed, "Shut up! Stop talking nonsense! I'm asking where I am!"

"You're… you're in the woodshed!" stuttered the maid.

Dong Ling only remembered that she fell off the cliff, but why was she here? Thinking of what happened, her head ached.

Psst!

Immediately, abundant memories flooded into her head, b.u.mping against every pain nerve of hers. The pain she could feel was even stronger than what falling into pieces could possibly bring!

Dong Ling huddled up with her arms around her head. Her face nearly twisted.

The maid then crept up, struggling to run out of the broken woodshed. 

"You mustn't go! Stay!" Dong Ling gnashed her teeth, took up a stick and wielded it forward.

Bang!

"Ah!"

She hit the maid. But which part? She wasn't in the frame of mind to notice that.

In her mind, a girl who shared the same name with her popped out!

"Dong Ling" was the daughter of a concubine in the Dong family. Her mother was a dancing girl of humble origin. "Dong Ling", along with her mother, had been humiliated and tortured…

Nothing changed until one day an imperial edict came that the eldest daughter of the Dong family would be married to the eldest prince. A few months later, a strange combination of circ.u.mstances made him the crown prince.

The eldest daughter, "Dong Ling", became the future crown princess!

"Dong Lin" was over fourteen years old. Eight months later, she would reach the age of fifteen and get married. 

Finally, with a strong desire for great wealth, her younger sister Dong Feixue tried to kill her and replace her,

"Good! Great!" Dong Ling gnashed her teeth in anger.

The old "Dong Ling" used to be in poor health. After she was pushed into the pond in the middle of the winter, she pa.s.sed out. Then she was framed up by Dong Feixue and got locked in the woodshed.

In case she might survive, Dong Feixue even sent a maid to torture her! What a malicious sister!

Dong Ling glared. She wasn't a pushover.  

What happened to "Dong Ling" had nothing to do with her. She could let it go. But now she was in the body of "Dong Ling". If anyone dared to mess up with her, he would pay for that!

She looked up at the door. The maid had bad luck. She died when Dong Ling accidentally hit her head with the stick.

She paid for the evil thing she did. And she deserved little sympathy when she dared to hurt her lady.

Dong Ling sneered, "I meant to break your legs as a punishment. Unexpectedly, you died. That was what you deserved for your sin."
