Vengeful Hero 6 Who's Alex?

The portrait was of a man along with a lady standing at the edge of a lake beside a tree. The man was leaning on the tree while the lady was resting her head on the chest of the man, they were looking at a kid who was fishing with smile on their faces. The leaves were falling from the tree and were floating with the breeze, depicting the autumn season. This portrait was showing Alex's feelings of how he wanted to have such an ordinary life with his parents and also something else which only Martha, George and Alex could understand.

"Why are you crying show it to me what is it" seeing Martha weeping George couldn't help but ask.

"Show us as well" Susan asked out of curiosity.

When George saw the painting he too got emotional but Jessica and Susan couldn't understand the hidden meaning behind the painting but seeing such a beautiful painting they were fascinated by it.

"Well is it good" asked Alex seeing the various types of reactions showed by all of them.

"Where did you get it painted from I want to get a painting of myself too" Jessica asked hurriedly

"Me too" Susan too agreed with Jessica, probably for the first time in a while.

"Umm.. if you want I can paint both of you but it might not be that good" Alex replied after a bit of hesitation.

"YOU!!" both Susan and Jessica cried out in surprise, even his parents looked shocked a bit.

"Yes I drew it, you don't have to look at me this way even I didn't knew I can draw I just thought of drawing and here it is" Alex replied casually trying to hide his embarra.s.sment.

"you are awesome so when are you going to do me?" Susan asked.

"What?" Alex asked dumbstruck.

"I mean when are you going to draw my painting" After realizing the meaning behind the wrong choice of her words Susan replied in embarra.s.sment.

"When I am free, I will surely tell you"

"And what about me?" seeing Alex agreeing to Susan, Jessica couldn't hold herself

"The same goes for you" Alex replied with a smile.

"I hope you remember your promise" Both Susan and Jessica said.

"Mom dad you have not said anything"Alex asked with a look of antic.i.p.ation.

"Well not too shabby" George replied with an emotionless face.

"Ohh.. I see" Hearing it Alex felt downhearted.

"I am thinking of a place where to hang it, where do you think we should hang it honey, in the living room or our room?"Alex said with a laughter, seeing Alex's face

"Let's place it in our room in place of that Pica.s.so painting and hang that in the living room. What do you think?"replied Martha with a grin.

"What you say goes, you are the in-charge boss" George replied with a bow.

"You sly old man" Martha replied coquettishly.

Cough! Cough!

"Aghh.. aghh.. well you should romance in your room you lovey-dovey couple we have guests in the house" hiding the embarra.s.sment Alex called his parents out of their flirting.

"Who's romancing we are just discussing" George replied shamelessly without a tinge of embarra.s.sment

"We had a great day today but now it's getting late we should take our leave now" Jessica asked for their permission to leave.

"Why don't you stay for a bit more?" Martha urged them to stay, she wanted to know more about them. She had a feeling that she had seen Jessica somewhere but can't remember it.

"No auntie we need to go office tomorrow , we will visit some other day" Susan replied

"fine then good night and be careful on your way home" George said

"Yeah if it's trouble Alex can drop you both, he can bring your car tomorrow"Martha interrupted once again, she wants to hook one of these girl with Alex.

"NO!" before Jessica can reply Susan interrupted.

"Huhhh..." everyone looked at Susan because of her weird behavior.

"I mean there is no need to trouble Alex Jessica will drop me on her way home, we live nearby" Susan explained

"Ohh.. it's fine then Alex show them out" George said

"Sure , let's go" Alex said leading the too girls out.

"I have seen Jessica somewhere but I can't remember"

"You are a doctor, she must have come to the hospital and you could have seen her there"

"I think so too, but the girls are so beautiful, it would be good if anyone of them becomes Alex's girlfriend don't you think?"

"I am happy with whatever Alex decides you don't have to think too much about it."

"Yeah.. come let's hang the painting in our room"

"I am sorry, both of you should not take my parents seriously, they like to talk nonsense all the time. They want me to find a girlfriend all the time" Alex apologized immediately after they left the house.

"You don't have to worry about it, they are very good to you and care about you a lot" Susan said with a smile.

"yeah.. even if I am not their child they love me dearly" Alex replied with a grateful look.

"Leave all the sad talks, tell me do you have a girlfriend?" Jessica interrupted and asked Alex curiously.

"No, not up till now" Alex denied

"So why don't you try having one" Jessica suggested

"I don't know whenever I think about it there is a face which keeps showing in my mind and even if it's not very clear, a feeling of longing emerges in my heart" Alex told her without any hesitation.

"She must be someone whom you knew before your accident" Jessica concluded

"Accident what accident?" Susan asked, she didn't know anything about it.

"The thing is..." Alex tried to explain

"I will tell her on the way you should go back and rest, tomorrow is your first day I do not think you want to be late on your first day" Jessica interrupted Alex and dragged Susan to the car

"OK be careful on your way home" Alex advised

"Alex!!" Suddenly someone called for Alex.

"Miss co.. I mean Margaret, you said you would be late" seeing the lady in front of him Alex stammered and asked her in a hurry. She was wearing a black short dress with a deep neck and m.u.f.fler around her neck, she looked like the incarnation of s.e.x G.o.ddess.

"My work wrapped up a bit sooner than I antic.i.p.ated" Margaret replied coming close to Alex

"So have you had your dinner? if not I can make some for you now" Alex replied but this time with a smile on his face and with a caring tone

"Th.. Tha..Thanks for the offer but I had my dinner you can treat me some other time" listening to Alex and seeing such a warm smile for the first time Margaret's heart skipped a beat, all the other time she would be the one teasing Alex but this time she was at loss of words

Seeing such intimacy between the two, both Susan & Jessica casted a meaningful gaze towards Margaret.

"Alex she is?" Susan couldn't control and ask

"Ohh.. sorry, I forgot to introduce she is Margaret, she lives next door and Margaret they are my colleagues Susan and Jessica" Alex replied casually not at all reading the atmosphere around him, but all the three ladies were sizing and giving meaningful gazes to each other.

"h.e.l.lo nice to meet"both Jessica and Susan greeted Margaret out of courtesy.

"The pleasure is all mine, I hope you will take good care of our Alex" Margaret greeted back with a meaningful smile

"Your Alex?" both Susan and Jessica almost jumped on their feet.

"Hehehe... well good to see you two I will be on my way now good night Alex" seeing such a reaction from both of them Margaret didn't reply to them instead walked towards Alex kissed his cheeks and bid good bye.

"Huhhh....." seeing the kiss the eyeb.a.l.l.s of both the girls almost left the socket.

"It's not like what you are thinking she likes to tease me a lot" Alex explained with a smile not thinking about it much.

"And it looks like you like being teased by her, hmph.. let's go Susan"Jessica angrily looked towards and dragged Susan to the car and drifted away.

"Arey... listen to me..." Alex called from behind but they left already.

"hmmm.. girls are too narrow-minded it's too hard to understand them, come to think of it why should I explain?" Alex thought to himself before returning home and retiring to his bed.
