Kushina was enraged at the prospect of being forced to stay in Uzushiogakure. She was sick of staying inside the pillars and reciting information she already knew. This had been going on for two weeks already.

"Don't worry, instead of staying inside and only reviewing general knowledge, you can experience how it feels like to be a shin.o.bi in Konoha and Uzushio."

"Yes!"

Unbeknownst to Kushina, Homura was sighing in pity for her foolishness while Jiro was grinning at the opportunity to mess with Kushina as he was planning on surprising her with a style of fighting that he thought would be very suitable for her.

"Ignore what your body is telling and see what is actually happening."

Kushina forced herself to stay still as Jiro's fist sailed towards her face. All her instincts were telling her to move at this instant, but she was trying to stay still. When it finally got too close for comfort, she flinched back slightly trying to make some distance, but the fist only closed in faster.

A fierce flick of the finger impacted against Kushina's forehead as she groaned at the pain emanating from her head.

"You want to try again?"

Kushina shook her head as she tried to shake the stars from her vision, but the stars seemed to keep on appearing. Remembering how Jiro liked to test both her and Homura senpai, Kushina concentrated on herself and circulated her Chakra trying to figure out if she was under a Genjutsu.

Jiro nodded approvingly as Kushina tried to find the area where the Genjutsu was being applied. She opened her eyes and immersed herself in the sensations trying to find some way some difference, but she couldn't tell anymore.

Resigning herself to the tested and true method for countering most Genjutsu, she p.r.i.c.ked herself with a kunai and the Genjutsu began to clear away. However, when she looked up from her hand, Jiro's face was replaced with that of Homura's.

"Is this transformation Jutsu flawless?"

"No."

"Good, you got it correctly this time. Did you guess this time or did you see the difference?"

"Homura senpai's face doesn't have eye bags."

"Your getting better at this Kushina. We can soon move onto finding a suitable fighting style for you."

Kushina looked up towards Jiro with curiosity. "I'm still not good enough?"

"Your good enough to notice the details, it is only for the head. I'm going to transform bit by bit and soon you'll be able to guess that I'm not Homura based on minor details."

"Now come over it's time to train for controlling your instincts."

Kushina walked over getting ready, but Jiro stopped her all of a sudden. His face was serious instead of his usual silly smile that seemed to promise mischief. A shadow clone of Homura also got up from the ground and stood nearby Kushina.

"Go to my house. Inside, there is going to a scroll inside the mattress that you have to tear open. Once it is torn, the house will automatically go into protection mode."

As the duo hurried off, the real Homura transformed back from being a leaf on Jiro's head into herself. She pulled out two kunai and held them in hand as she got ready to engage with whoever was coming from the outside. An alarm began to blare alerting the citizens to enter their homes. Several squads of shin.o.bi and sealers were running towards the area of the barrier that was lit up red.

Kakuzu tossed aside the body of a ninja with a head band that had a swirling symbol as he approached the barrier of Uzushiogakure. As he pulled out a scroll, he ran through the plan that he established earlier. He was going to break into Uzushiogakure and avoid provoking Jiro Uchiha in the process.

After breaking in, he would create enough chaos for the shin.o.bi from Kirigakure and k.u.mogakure to try and access the library that held a vast majority of Fuinjutsu techniques. As his water clone split off from himself to create chaos, Kakuzu's face darted upwards as he noticed a wave of killing intent headed towards him.

The shin.o.bi from Kiri and k.u.mo exchanged glances as a couple of them split off to help deal with the new threat. Others went to deal with the shin.o.bi and sealers while the rest headed straight towards the library.

A seal-master emerged from behind a building and began to guide the shin.o.bi towards the library while other seal-masters with ulterior motives misdirected a couple squads of shin.o.bi and sealers.

Just as Kakuzu looked up, he saw a body falling towards him. He dodged to the side, but attached to the body was a string of explosive tags. He disappeared as the explosion sent pieces of the Jounin from Kirigakure everywhere. A headband landed near Kakuzu as he began to carefully watch the surrounding area.

Kakuzu muttered under his breathe, "d.a.m.n. It's probably Jiro." Despite his complaint, he was already holding two kunai and prepared to run away and ditch the upcoming battle. He would naturally suffer a reputation drop, but he wouldn't completely risk his life for money.

Kakuzu turned immediately tried to stab the head band, but he was blocked by two other kunai that clashed with his. As sparks flew, Kakuzu immediately kicked the body that had appeared and Homura flew through the air before landing with a roll. She turned ready to fight, but Kakuzu was already gone along with his water clone.

Seeing that Kakuzu was gone, Jiro cancelled the transformation Jutsu and with a poof of smoke, he was back looking normal. His eyes turned red for a moment as Jiro looked for the Chakra signature of Homura and once he spotted it, he immediately took off.

Homura was dancing with a Jounin skillfully using her twin kunai to block the attacks the shin.o.bi was sending. She was concentrating on putting the Jounin under a Genjutsu, but the sound of the blaring alarm and the concentration she had to put into the fight was making it difficult. She was able to put the Jounin under a Genjutsu after a couple of seconds.

Just as she began to breathe a sigh of relief, she immediately vaulted backwards evading the Jounin who erupted from the ground. The Jounin threw several shuriken during that time and several were not blocked in time by Homura. Blood ran down her body as she got ready for round two.

Homura formed several hand seals in succession and shot a fireball right at the Jounin who sliced through it with a giant sword that was not being used earlier. Homura was instantly suppressed by the length of the sword as well as the power behind its blows which she was barely blocking with the kunai.

As the fight continued, the pair of kunai were being reduced to sc.r.a.ps so Homura decided to use them for a surprise attack. She threw both kunai at the Jounin who immediately blocked them before lunging at her. At that instant, the Jounin swiped, but hit nothing.

Homura who had swapped positions with the kunai used the Jutsu Jiro had taught her over the past few days to fire the laser of flames. The Jounin raised his sword in time to block the beam, but the flames began to melt the sword and heat it up which made him drop it. The Jounin was planning to evade, but his feet were entombed under a layer of rock.

It was only a small delay, but it was a delay that resulted in death. The flames that Homura fired instantly penetrated through the Jounin who fell to the floor with a smoking hole in his chest.

Homura felt her burnt lips and sighed as she realized she would have to practice more. As she waited for Jiro to arrive, she checked her Chakra reserves and was pleasantly surprised to find that she hadn't used up too much while reinforcing herself with Chakra in the earlier fight.

The water clone of Kakuzu looked at the lone body of Homura and was deciding whether to ambush her, but a strong sense of danger immediately triggered its instinct to turn into a puddle of water which Jiro evaporated with a fire Jutsu.

Homura looked towards the destroyed buildings as Jiro emerged from it looking completely fine except for some dust on his body. He turned to look at the dead Jounin and the lightly injured body of Homura. Jiro smiled at her in congratulations as well as praise.

"Good job. Let's go back now."

"We're not helping?"

"My clones will help the village take care of the rest of the intruders. In the meantime, it looks like you need to practice the Jutsu I taught you more often. Also, make sure to put on some cream for that burn."

Homura smiled as Jiro began to overbearingly command her to take care of the small injuries she had acquired.
