Reincarnation Into The World Of Naruto 36 Bounty

The day arrived for the second part of the chunin exams. The office of the Hokage would open at seven in the morning so Jiro and his teammates were there thirty minutes earlier. They were quietly whispering among each other whether it would be a good idea to sneak in and grab a bounty or wait for the office to open. They decided to send a snake of Orochimaru's to grab a bounty for one of their decided targets then sneak off into a restaurant pretending to eat so that other teams would not notice anything off.

After the snake was sent in, the team of three went to the restaurant that Teuchi's parents owned. Teuchi's cooking was also on the menu so the team of three enjoyed a hot bowl of ramen. Orochimaru suddenly got up and grabbed Jiro and Jiraiya interrupting their meal. Both looked at him puzzled, but Orochimaru whispered to them.

"The snake got a scroll, but it wasn't the one we wanted. Also we weren't given all the information for this mission."

Jiro stared at Orochimaru with a deadpan face, clearly irritated at having his meal interrupted. Jiraiya also gave a glare at Orochimaru, but the effect was ruined as a noodle was still dangling from his mouth. Orochimaru ignored the piercing glares and dragged Jiro and Jiraiya out the door while tossing a couple bills onto their table. The instant they were out of the door, all three of them activated the Body Flicker jutsu and disappeared from sight.

"None of the targets are the ones put on the list we got earlier. We are going after a target we have no information on so be careful. Most importantly, everyone that is part of the exams have a bounty set on them."

Jiro gained a huge grin on his face. Jiraiya and Orochimaru exchanged glances as they sensed the malevolence radiating off of Jiro. Orochimaru and Jiraiya were exchanging glances and trying to glare the other into submission so that the other would have to convince Jiro to stand down. Jiraiya had suffered many times at the hands of Jiro and he was not going to suffer a second time. After being glared out by Jiraiya, Orochimaru cleared his throat.

"Uh, Jiro you know that we have to hunt our bounty and not others right? I mean we could hunt others, but we still have to win points."

Jiro's expression was unreadable, but the light of mischief was shining in his eyes.

"We could just go around ruining the times others try to win a bounty every once in a while right?"

Jiraiya's mischievous side was ignited and he grinned.

"I agree, we could go doing bounty missions, but we could also spend time sabotaging the missions of others."

Orochimaru finally agreed with a huff, but he immediately got to the topic of hunting their bounty target. So the team geared up and got ready to go to the compound of the Akimichi. There was no need for Kana to come, but she insisted on tagging along. Jiraiya and Orochimaru were running while Jiro sat on Kana's back relaxing.

The team arrived and were hiding in some nearby trees while Jiro cast a Genjutsu to make them look like part of the tree for any nearby onlookers. As Kana continued to circle around, Orochimaru and Jiraiya let out their respective summons to find their target. On a stroke of luck, the target walked out of the compound, but he was immediately waylaid by another team of ninja. He was quickly subdued by a combination of earth and water release to trap him in the ground.

The team of three, oblivious to the spies tied up their target and prepared to bring him back to the compound. Orochimaru and Jiraiya were talking about when to ambush them, but Jiro was gone. He was on the back of Kana and slowly trailing the team. Jiraiya noticed a figure in the sky moving and pointed at it, mouthing that Jiro was probably on top of her. Orochimaru and Jiraiya figured that Jiro had a plan so they let him work, but they were irritated at his sudden disappearance with no warning.

Suddenly, a ninja dashed straight towards Jiraiya. He was shocked, but quickly jumped off the tree and blasted the ninja with a wind that blew it into a puff of smoke. Jiraiya quickly looked at his surroundings in preparation. He also saw that Orochimaru was having trouble fending off a girl and her dog companion. Before Jiraiya could go help him, he had to jump to avoid someone attacking from the ground.

Jiraiya couldn't get prepared before he was engaged in a fast paced Taijutsu match. He was dodging and slipping between the kicks and punches of someone much more gifted in Taijutsu than he was. Jiraiya slipped a kunai into his hand threw it along with many others. He had been envisioning a fast barrage of kunai, but they went off course. It still served the purpose of distracting the ninja enough for Jiraiya to blast the a.s.sailant with a strong gust that blew him away from sight.

Jiraiy ran over to a.s.sist Orochimaru, but he was interrupted by another two ninja. One released a blast of water to him while the other started forming handseals at a rapid rate. Jiraiya flickered to his left avoiding the water, but he had to interrupt the other ninja so he summoned a toad about his size to attack. The toad attacked the duo and kept them on their feet with its fast staff movements.

Jiraiya went past the duo and saw Orochimaru being attacked by a group of ninja. Some of the ninja were clones so Jiraiya ignored those counting a grand total of three. Jiraiya noticed that all three ninjas were triplets and happened to be systematically tearing Orochimaru apart.

He saw that Orochimaru was dodging the bursts of fire, but he was kept in a circle. The clones were not shadow clones, but the triplets blended in with the clones making it difficult for Orochimaru to identify where they were located. Orochimaru finally summoned a snake to attack, but it was sat on by a large turtle summoned by one of the triplets.

Jiraiya got close enough to help Orochimaru, but he was distracted by the duo attacking him with their combination of earth release and water release. Jiraiya suddenly sank into the earth and the ground beneath him felt very soft like water. He was getting ready to burst out when a knock on his head brought him into the realm of sleep.
