Crap , I Was Rifted 64 Training And Self Reflection Zelda Interlude Part 2

I was back in my Nether World for now. Me and Adon just finished sparing for a bit. He thought it weird that even I like the other me didnt fight like I use to in street fighter. I was just focusing on my Lin Kuei using it with another fighting for the most part. I needed to blend everything in he said. He suggested I meditate a little since I was the Prime and all.

On some weird instinct, I tried to do what I remember I saw Ryu did in Street Fighter anime. Galtea said as long as I remember I was a game User everything would be fine. She was all smiles as of late. Especially since what happened while I was away. Other me took spending time with the crew a lot better. He worked a little less and socialized more. Since that discovery, it was recommended I fuse back with him every time I came to my Nether World then separate. This helped balance us both out as well as keep my mind fresh on what all the other me's had been doing.

"No wonder Ryu almost blew his arms apart on the beach. d.a.m.n this s.h.i.t is strong." I gritted my teeth after I was done talking. Spreading my legs some more, I felt my balance was a little bit better. Had to be centered and gather the energy. s.h.i.t was ridiculous.

"The way you are gathering is familiar. Try picturing your using Terra Destroyer." I heard Lunabella say to me. Inside my node, my Agumon self was doing the same thing. "Well except it isn't over your head." She said chuckling.

"Wait .. I cant do it that way either. Terra means earth, I am water. So Poseidon force that War Greymon X used would make more sense.' Picturing the move as I remembered it, I felt the moisture in the air gathered around me. My Misty fist activated and spread all around me. "Dang it, this is not what I wanted. Wait... no this is perfect." Willing the water around me to focus on my hands, I felt the power grow. The water left all the other parts of my body that it covered.

"Crekk,' the ground started to break and lift around me. I felt a strong connection to Riku, Mileena, and Hotshot. Their different energies linking with my own. With a thought, I canceled the link. Some others were connecting to me as well. Mileuda was always there linked as well as Galtea, but some other ones were strong just not cemented I guess. Growing by the second as I thought about them. I was tempted to mess with this but decided not to. This was my primary focus.

I was trying to get a good feel on what was my max gathering but that would be bad considering this would be my first time. It was time to release it before I blew my arms apart or worse.

"Ha.." I said as I took a step forward. "Do..." I pulled my shoulders in. "Ken!" The blast fired outward.

"Kaboom!" The pressure pushed me back like a cannonball. Bending myself over into a roll, I then smacked the ground and flipped in the air dispersing the momentum. Landing on my feet unsteadily I dropped to my b.u.t.t. "Haha, that was fun." I couldn't help laughing. Then I felt it. A flood of memories rising to the surface from my times in Street Fighter. I had focused to much on my Psycho/Soul Power and forgotten about all the other people I fought and trained with. The different things I picked up on the way. I realized I was a failure as a martial artist. "Heh oh well. I can always improve. Street bawling was alway better then Techincal fighting styles to me anyway."

"You should never discount anything," Tifa said smiling from the side. "So.. I am staying just beat you into a proper martial artist at least."

"Yeah ok," I told her easily. "Sucks you developed the Pather ability. It sucks at times."

"Meh," Tifa said shrugging her shoulders. "It is nowhere near your level so it is fine. Besides, we didn't know I would have a response to all your free mana. But I can totally kick so much a.s.s with this power." Tifa had gathered water around her fingertips with ease in front of me. Lin Kuei suited her well. "This Misty Fist is nice. Glad you taught it to me with the other abilities. I am gonna practice some more. Oh, where did Adon go?"

"He went that way." I pointed to the left towards the mountain gate. I wonder if those to developed a thing for each other that would be fun to watch. "Why?"

"Oh I am going to pay him a beating," Tifa said smiling creepily. "He thought it funny to say I was the weakest to everyone else. Man enough to tell the others but not me himself. Let's see how weak he thinks I am after I put out his flames permanently. Oh, dont forget to digest what you just learned." Like that she was gone.

"Time to change that." Fixing myself into a meditation pose I drowned everything else out. I felt my Psycho/Soul power act togethor in tandem with the memories.

System: Willpower Successful 45 Adding fighting experience to Lin Kuei fighting style. Mental patch used. User martial damage has increased.

An hour later I was finished. Taking another hour I pulled more of the memories to the surface. Then the ones with Rose came along and had to divert my attention to pushing that to the side.

"That was.. something." Nothing was gonna cause me to lose this smile. That's what I thought anyway.

"So you wanna fight?" Mileena said staring at me. Her eyes had a strange twinkle in them. I had no idea when she arrived but she was here and stronger than last we met. Her Pyscho power growing steadily. I was getting ready to answer but was stopped.

"No," Galtea answered appearing. "How about you go and rest already yah big lummox. You have gone past the hours you set for yourself." She said pointing at her watch. "You need to take breaks. What is the point of leave time if you turn it into work time?"

"Ah, your right. But it isn't work if it is fun." Standing up I felt a little light-headed. "No, you are definitely right. Raincheck Mileena?"

"Sure my Khan." Mileena looked at me and smiled with the beautiful deadly teeth of hers. Placing her veil back on she winked and walked away. "I am going to fight with the others. Quistis has been slacking off since learning Lin Kuei. What kind of teacher does that?"

Watching her walk away I looked at Galtea. "Yah know I still want Rose gone. This is getting to be a problem for me. I can feel her presence everywhere. She is like a beacon. Constantly calling to me."

"Azul.. you know she can make you stronger." Galtea tried to convince me again for the next 10 minutes. When that didn't work, she changed it up a little. "If you beat her in a fight then get rid of her. It would be proof she cant help you anymore."

"I already beat her in a fight," I said staring her down. "Several times at that."

"Beat her again." Seeing my glare she decided against it. "Ok then. What do you want to do then? She is soul bonded to you. Unless you can sever that on your end it won't work sending her away really. Unless.."

"You.. dont really hate her yet. That version of you that married her does. But in your other lives, did she do anything to harm you." Galtea paused before she added, "when you were on opposing sides that does not count. She can help a lot of the others. Those who Soul power have awakened. You can help with the Psycho portion." Galtea looked at her screen before telling me some good news. "Everyone has awakened an element. But not all of them have it under control yet. Something for them to work on when they get bored."

I thought about it. Long and hard. Felt a few problems stirring. "No, she didnt. But that does not change what she did."

"You need to learn to forgive people. She did it for you." Galtea touched my arm. My Overlord power felt off from her words. I remember being chained up by her and poisoned. I had to flex my mental energy to block it out.

"No! I do not have to forgive people." My power jumped a bit as my Soul Power recoiled. "Forgiving people did not happen in my life on my original Earth I doubt it will happen here."

"You have to grow up!" Galtea said sternly. Realizing what she just said to me, she wanted to apologize. "I didnt mean to.."

"Grow.. up? Are you kidding me? I am doing things that are completely against my character here. I am in a weird crazy open relationship that I hate by the way. The only reason I can stomach it is because of the people involved. I did that because you said it was the best option." I felt my since of control start to leave me. "You know hard it is to hate someone when you can feel how much they care about you?!"

"It is! A monogamy lifestyle will not work for a User. It has happened time and time again. Almost always ending badly. It is the reason I push this so hard. They will not live forever. You will not be able to cope with the loss." Galtea paused letting that sink in. "Eventually Azul, someone will die. There will be nothing we can do about it. I dont want you to break apart when it happens."

"I.. tch.." I couldn't say much to that. I felt her concern and wanted to push it away. Not care about it like I usually do when I cant solve something that I dont like. Just as I started to, I felt a lash from my psycho power. It wouldn't let me. This is the first real-time I had a problem with it. My soul power started acting up. Then I heard my inner voices again.

'We do not have to forgive her. We can still use her. The same way we can still use Jaina and Techlis.' My psycho power said. 'We can make them tools if need be. Disposal tools that dont deserve our affections or time.'

'We are not capable of forgiveness still. That will take a better person than us to work us through that. However, we can move forward. We have to. There are so many worlds left to visit so many people to interact with.' My soul power said. 'I want to experience more. Grow more. Connect more.'

My wolf wanted to kill her. The desire to eat a person pa.s.sing over me for the first time. Defintely caused me to snap out of it. I was no cannibal. But I felt why it wanted to. Any threats to the pack had to be eliminated. Or brought under control. Complete control.

"Galtea you are a piece of work you know that?" I grabbed her and used my strength to read her biotic strands while sending her my own. The bond between us kicked up a notch making it harder for her to resist. "Haa, that is so much better."

"a.s.shhole.."Galtea slurred a little. Shaking it off she was fine. "Oh why did you share that with me? I was better off as a neutral party. Now even I want to get rid of her just a little." She watched my face and saw me laugh a little. "Just a little Azul! I didnt want to feel what she did to you. I cant believe she used your fears against you. Glad I never got to that level of training."

"Yeah me to!" I gave her an angry stare. "I would not be ok if you did that. Or if any of the others did."

Galtea smiled. "So you are ok with it now?" I grumbled shaking my head at her. "A fear of living paralyzation. Not as light as I thought. And here I thought you have a fear of something irrational."

'Come again?' I blinked at Galtea then switch to focusing on Zelda.

It did not end well for them. He fell in love with three of them. Two women and a man. We came home one day and they were togethor with one another. He flew into a rage and killed one of the women. Just like you, he had a mental power. It grew substantially while he did this. Realizing it was a way to get stronger he tortured the other two till they beg him for mercy. He then killed them in front of his other pulls. Afterward.. he regained himself. The light energy he had inside him grew in strength from his reflection. I rather you do not do that."

"I see.. what happened then?"

"Things were normal for a while. We continue on with our lives but a weird twisted evil festered in his heart. His new relationships had that shadow of a doubt with trust. For good reason. Once during a mission, he Soul bonded at the end of a fight. I believe we were in Fable or something. The one he married turned out to be someone he shouldn't have trusted. She took the power he had while our Operator was away and used it for her own means. That betrayal broke him once he saw what was going on. He killed everyone and absorbed their mental energies. Only I and two others remained at his side. Those with mental powers are dangerous. Your Pather power makes you even more dangerous. Thus the reason so many pillars were brought to you to form."

"Then what happened?" I looked at her shivering figure. 'A pillar. Does she just mean a support or a companion?'

"He pa.s.sed all that power to the three of us and released us. He then killed himself." Zelda's voice dropped low. "He deleted himself. Our operator was devastated she blamed herself for not helping him. She was like Galtea. Pushing you to your limits. Constantly."

"Tch, I am not that stupid to think I will be the exception so... I am counting on you to help with this." I opened the status screen and with to the delete option. I motioned for Zelda to come over. Showing her the option I disabled it. Then disabled the ability for me to enable it. Handing the coding over to her. "Since you are always inside me. With me?! How does that work again anyway?"

"I am always with you. The main soul. The only other I can travel with, would be the you here in Ma.s.s Effect. I would rather not change. I am comfy here." Zelda's voice had a weird happiness in it. "This is a lot of trust you are putting in me." I saw her eyes change to pure white as a lot of magic enveloped her. It then disappeared just as easy as it arrived.

Pulling back my focus, I saw Galtea still standing in front of me. "Call Rose over." I waited and thought about what we talked about. Well both conversation anyway.

In an instant, Rose appeared. She had a little bit of a sad smile on. Her strands went directly to me. I didn't know if she was doing it on purpose or if I our power called to each other even if she was not focusing on it. My wolf was restless. He didnt like this one bit.

"h.e.l.lo husb.. I mean Azul." Rose bit her tongue saying the words.

"Right.. so two options. I really hope I dont regret this. I have to become more mature apparently. This won't work. People dont change easy. Unless I get brain surgery or something." I shuddered a little bit. I knew of a few things that could completely change the way I think. "You can return as you are to somewhere else or you can stay here and.." I did not get to finish.

"Stay here!" Rose tackled me to the ground. "I knew you still loved me." Her Soul Power weighed on me d.a.m.n near crushing me.

"So freaking powerful! Get off me!" I yelled not wanting us to touch. She did not listen. My wolf was going frantic. It couldn't decide if it wanted to rip her apart or pin her down and make her submit.

A large force of wind picked her up and off me. I looked over to see a very angry Riku and a very angry Mileena. Their control over the wind was d.a.m.n near scary. I wondered if they could create a hurricane.

I stood up and watched. It was hot. Didnt help there clothes were a little disheveled from training. Galtea pinched my side and pointed at my mouth. I was apparently drooling.

"You are not his wife so dont act so familiar," Riku said releasing the wind. Mileena followed suit a little bit after. She didnt want to stop.

"I have definitely lost control of my life," I grumbled at them. I wanted to laugh since I realized I would never be bored this way. They gave me a look that I did not like. "Yeah... so I am going back to..mmmh not here. Bye now." With a wave, I exited back to Ma.s.s Effect. I was cuddled up with someone. Looking down I noticed Miranda was past out with a datapad over us. Lifting it up I saw it was data on her sister. "Not my business." Moving it over to a table I felt her stir.

"It is your business," Miranda said looking up a little. "I want you to check over her genetic profile just in case for anything strange."

"Hmm, alright." I started to pull the pad back over but she stopped me.

"Not now. Later. Right now just.. just relax." I felt something was wrong. I didnt know what. "My father reached out to me. He wants to meet with me. Says it's important. I think somehow he found out about what you did to me."

"Well, c.r.a.p. How do you want to handle this?"

"I dont know just yet. Right now I am feeling too..raw to think of this logically. He sent new agents to try and find my sister. Dont worry Kasumi kept tracks on him. They were dealt with. For now, she is safe."

"We could hire bodyguards. Or better yet I could send some people to watch over her. Protect her as a form of training of course." I had to add that. Miranda didnt want to be coddled. Serious trust issue. But she liked me well enough as well as Sophia so that was good enough for me.

"Thank you. I would like that. Preferably her age group. I worry about her friends she keeps."

"No problem." I watched as her approval rating went up. Looking back down I notice she was staring. "What is it?" Miranda flipped over and just looked at me before speaking.

"I see why Sophia is always getting grabbed by you. This is nice. As long as you keep your hands PG." She raised her eyebrows at me. I shook my head in agreement. "That's good. I also want you to know I acquired enough points to go to a world with you. I rather not go to Magic the Gathering though. Artificer technology does not really interest me. It looks the same as synthetic for the most part."

"Ok." I shift a little and placed my hands at the middle of her shoulder blades. "I figure you know where you want to go. So which is it?"

"I wish to go to Halo. The thing is, Galtea said the timeline would be during Halo 4 I think or maybe Reach I don't know. All I know it would be to hard to get the same material of Genetics training you received." Miranda had done her research with Galtea. I knew of one but did not want to go there for several reasons.

"I would purchase it with the points I have but it is extremely expensive. I could mentally share it with you but it wouldn't be the same. And I cant write it all down. The method for there teaching is ridiculous." I said taking a deep breath. "There is Resident Evil... but I really do not want to go there. I dont want any of you all going there either. Even with the ability to resist the mutations the psychological aspect alone would cripple the most die-hard of people."

"Ugh, I am no child. I can handle it." Miranda said taking the special pad that would allow her to look up the information. Her eyes dilated a bit when she read after 15 minutes. She put the tablet down. "On second thought I dont want to go there. No one should go there." Her biotic strands were disgusted. "Even I wouldn't do that to random people."

"Chish," the door opened and in walked Sophia. She looked at us and blinked. Walking around to the garbage can, she threw away a bunch of the trash on one of the tables. Me and Miranda just looked at her. She then stopped as if remembering something, walked back to the door and locked it and went to the kitchen. Coming back she had some snacks.

She moved her head side to side as I do sometimes before floating over Miranda and me to the opposite side of the bed. "We need a bigger bed. Snacks?" Sophia said smiling.

I grabbed a drink as Miranda grabbed what looked to be cookies. Or biscuits? I was noticing more about Sophia lately. I thought at one point she was British but that was wrong. Sophia then turned to the sliding monitor and moved it with her biotics. Next thing I know, she threw the remote at me.

"Pick something to watch. Dont care what." She then nuzzled into my shoulder. She gave Miranda a look and then look back at the monitor. "You can leave if you want to. But I rather you stay though."

"I will stay.. Provided he doesn't pick something stupid." Miranda turned halfway and looked at the screen.

"Screw it." I spent 50 points for a bigger bed and turned to find something to watch. Not finding anything good that I recognized I stopped on what looked to be a spy movie. According to the guide, a marathon was about to happen. We only missed a few minutes.

"I love this movie," Miranda said. She looked at me and Sophia with a look. We stared at her shocked. "What? I like spy movies so sue me."

"Hehe, good to know Miranda," I said smiling. I then looked back at the screen.

"They didnt have these in my time, guess best chance to learn the appeal of it," Sophia said. She then placed her knee above my thigh. "That's better." She gave me a whisper to my ear, "My Overlord." A large influx of biotic energy washed over me.

I absorbed it and relaxed and just felt good. We settled in for the rest of the day and enjoyed ourselves. Just snacks and some movies. A little bickering over parts when the movie ended before the next one started. Cant beat the simple things.

I did not believe the place I was going to next. Galtea was right I would defintely love it. The person that went with me however... I was not to sure about.
