Crap , I Was Rifted 57 The Newbies And Noveria

The conversation with Maldova didnt happen. As soon as I arrived she had to get to work on something else. But she agreed to talk with Galtea about what was going on. They both agreed I should spend time with some of the newbies. I guess they were right, but the System already informed them what they needed to know. Didn't think they would need to talk to me really till later.

I chatted with the newbies and would meet them the next day for a more personal talk. Right now most of them were doing something or another with the various crewmates. I spent the rest of the night working on a way to fight against the Reapers indoctrination method.

The next morning I did the usual clean up of myself. A little meditation and a mental cleansing on myself. l finished that quickly and decided to check up on the other me's. Nothing dangerous. Just couldn't still connect with the other me that was with Chari. I sent a message to Galtea about it. I sent a message to Alita as well. She might know what was going on.

Switching over to my Nether Realm I was trying to start a conversation with the newbies. Well, those who were present. Adon was sleeping after some training he did. Quists and Tifa were in the library studying.

Just left me with Proto Man, Samus, and Lighting.

"Alright Samus, what do you think of our mission?"

"Ehhh, nothing really. This place has some nice armor. The biotics are interesting but I rather not get involved here. Can I hold off for another place?" I felt her biotics, she was not interested in this world at all. Especially with the Reapers. They disgusted her a lot. "Maybe a place with more armored personnel suit wise. Or maybe a more distinct place. Not Warhammer. That place is... cruel."

"Umm, sure. I dont see why not." I said not really thinking about it. "Right now there is nothing pressing really. However, Warhammer might be a place you have to go if things get hairy again. I have a lot going to Magic the Gathering, so maybe another world later. I will talk to Galtea about it. On second thought I will talk to Alita. She can help with that matter."

"Ok. Wait. why not Galtea?"

"I have been overworking her. I think." I shrugged my shoulders. "Something is off. That is why I wanted to give everyone some time off. Ah, anyway moving on."

"I am good." Proto Man said nice and composed. He was up to something. It was not dangerous more like a little mischievous. "Go to her next."

"So Lighting.. how are you?" I asked staring at her. She was bugged by me. I didnt know why but I had to somewhat learn why according to Galtea.

"Good." She said preoccupied by something.

"Alright. Ready for a new experience?" I ask trying to see if she was actually capable of more. "How do you think you will react to a new world and its people?"

"Fine." One phrase answer again.

"Wanna talk about some things?" She stood there just staring at me. "Like seriously.. anything?" Still nothing. "Ok do you want to ask me anything?" Nothing still. I started to get agitated. "Ok then. Would you like to return to wherever you came from?" A little eye movement and that was it.

"I think she is shy Boss." Proto Man chuckled. He looked extremely comfortable still. Defintely was enjoying candy for one. He had bubble gum in his mouth chewing it between talks.

"Fwoo," he blew a big bubble. So big it covered his face before it popped. "Bap," I watched as he peeled it off and started up again.

"For the love of..." I was getting fed up as I looked back to her. " Listen here, if you dont talk nothing will get done." Still nothing. "Alright that's it, you can return back to where ever you came from you flat-chested little.." My sentence was cut off after I had to dodge.

"Fwish," the sword came really quickly. I looked up to see her very angry face.

"You are kidding me right?" I stared at her like she was nuts. "I call you flat-chested and now you react. I dont even know what your breast look like." She pulled her sword back and stared at me. "Oi, not this s.h.i.t again." Frustrated I walked away. "So glad I didnt get far with your blasted game."

"You what?" Samus asked.

"I did not get far. I have a little information about what happened to her and her people." I said shrugging. "Cant get to everything." I started walking again.

"Fight me." That's what I heard as she charged at my back. Parrying with my fist I stared at her. A look of determination, a feeling of wanting to prove herself pa.s.s onto me. She was no longer shielding herself from me. She knew that I didnt care about what happened there. That is why she was angry a little.

"Ching," her sword scratched against my fingernails as I threw her back. Stepping forward I sent a jab at her face. She prepared to dodge but stopped once she realized it was a feint. Seeing my actual fist going for her gut, she turned to the side. I made contact with her kidney.

"Thump," that was not the sound it should have made. Then I felt the leather against my skin. A whip had wrapped around my neck. 'How the h.e.l.l didnt I sense it?' With a yank from it, I stepped back. I turned to see Samus.

"Hi, boss." She had a smile on her face as she tightened her grip. "I thought it best I help her out." She grounded her legs and pulled harder. "I just want to see how good you are."

"Fine," I croaked pointing my hand at her I fired. 'Concussive shot!' The fire of compressed physic and tech energy blasted her away. Hopefully, her armor would hold.

"Boom!" Samus flew far enough away that she was not in my immediate threat range.

"Thundaga," I heard. I wished it wasn't true. A giant bolt of lighting wracked through my body.

'What the h.e.l.l?!' I looked over to see Lighting breathing heavily. She must have put a lot into that spell. "Rain Storm," I said as I summoned the water droplets to attack her. The countless water needles rained down pelting her skin. I increased it till I felt a new pressure. Looking to the side I saw Proto Man. He smiled as his buster arm fired.

I threw up my shield. "Ping," it broke. I was carried off by the rest of the blast.

"Huff, huff," I stood up covered in dust. "d.a.m.n that hurt." Gritting my teeth I stared at him as he walked forward. I should have expected this. Grinning I stretched my hand at him. "Good idea." He looked surprised as rune magic gathered around my hand. "Concussive Shot!"

My blast was intercepted by a hovering Samus who fired her charge shot-blocking mine. The explosion sent a little air around us. She dropped down with a plunk.

"So I am ready to try again. How about you?" Samus stretched her arm out and I saw as it transformed to the rocket mode.

"So three against one?" I questioned as I healed myself with my rune magic. "Fine!"

Sooting forward I watched as my body shot up a notch. Ramming toward's Lighting, I felt my body become unstable as I turned into water. I wrapped around her and applied pressure squeezeing down. Slowly I shrunk down crushing her and depriving her of oxygen.

"d.a.m.n you!" Samus yelled firing. "Woosh," the rocket travelled to us. Just as Lighting was getting low on air, I released her and kicked her forward.

"Kaboom," she flew back towards me. When she got near I grabbed her by the legs and started to spin like a top. I threw her up into the air. As far as I know she cant fly.

Samus looked at me, then at her. Her booster's activated instantly as she shot off to grab at Lighting.

"Heh, smart move." Proto Man said swinging his shield at me. "Divide and conquer."

"Well had to even a little bit. Still dealing with some things my self." I said as I allowed his shield to get close before I grabbed it. I felt a sense of danger instantly.

"Bad move." Proto Man said smiling. A large surge of electricity travelled through my body lighting me up.

System: Const.i.tution Check 23 Pa.s.sed. Strength 26 Pa.s.sed.

"Ahh, s.h.i.t thats smart," I said gripping it tighter and pulling it free. "Say goodbye to it." Feeling sort of where the other two where I threw it that way.

"That is just rude!" Proto Man sneered at me. "But this is fun. His fist came across my face. I dodged it easily. The next one came straight for my face again so I jumped back. "Gotcha," he said with that same smirk.

"Hah!" She gave me a fast thrust to my midsection. I pushed it to the side and leaned into her. She stared at me intensley. I was surprised at her next move. "Why are you holding back still?" Putting her hand up she fired a bolt of magic I thought. "Concussive Shot!"

"Boom!" The blast just pushed me back. "Feeww," I heard the cry of another rocket. Samus had fired again and then I saw Lighting speed back some.

I was really surprised for a moment. Then I remember they get abilities depending on what they accept to integrate to. Guess she chooses this place. When the rocket got near I grabbed ahold with my biotics and sent it toward Proto Man.

"What the h.e.l.l man!?" He yelled. I let my ropes go right before it hit. I pulled the water to me and weaved it into a spell to send towards Samus. No sense in wasting it. Besides I need to keep trying new things.

"Boom," the blast sent him across the dirt. Several bits of exposure of circuits were visible. His left arm was sparking something fierce.

"Water Arrow!" I fired towards Samus. She just turned into a ball and disappeared behind the smoke with Lighting. "Where the h.e.l.l did this smoke come from? No way it should still be here."

I saw a wave of blond hair coming. It was Samus Zero suit mode. The whip in her hand again. "Bzz," it lit up with electricity around it. "Thwack," she cracked the whip. I dodged to the side as it tore the ground apart.

'Adrenaline Rush,' I thought activating as I ran forward toward her. As her next whip crack came, I dodged inward with ease. She was keeping up with my movements easy. 'Tch blasted bounty hunter.' When the next one came I turned to water and half reformed around her side. swinging my hand at the whip I felt a strange energy wash over me when I made contact.

"Bzzt," I was electrocuted. My focus broke and I reformed. Seeing her leg come towards my temple, I threw up a cross guard to block. "Thump," her leg was fast but not powerful enough. Grabbing her thigh, I kicked out at her other leg causing her to split.

"Ouch," she grunted before jumping off with that other foot and kicking at my face. I was force to drop her leg. Before I could mouth a defense I felt my body go numb.

"What the.. when?" I was paralyzed. Her other leg caught me. It was not that effective but her next move was. She bent forward and grabbed my neck as she flipped over me. She was pulling my head back somewhat, but the strength difference made it negligible at best.

"Do it now!" Samus yelled. I look to Proto Man and saw he was still down.

The smoke cleared away. There was her suit. Its buster pointed right at me. Then I saw it. The exposure areas. It was also smaller. A vast amount of electricity was gathered around it.

"Fwoosh," the supercharged shot came towards me. It created a path in the ground as it actually picked up speed.

"Huh.. Lighting?" I didnt think she would be able to get in the suit. Thought it was bio locked or some s.h.i.t. When the blast got close I activated my Biotic Shielding.

"Bzzt," the blast absorbed into my shield and circulated around. The longer I kept my shield up, the faster it travelled. Shaping my shield, I thought of the move Shockwave. I fired it straight up and watched as it broke apart and sent lighting and energy in different directions.

"Heh, well the disadvantage of being in his Nether World sucks." Proto Man said stepping forward. He switched back towards his human self. "The repairs will take to long so I rather just heal as a human." He pulled out a Heavy Pistol. "I think the ammo in this can pierce your b.u.t.t."

"Tch yeah, the suit didnt really agree with me." Lighting said with her sword raised. "This Sword can hurt you. I think I will fight you another time one on one. I want to pit my martial arts against you."

"Well, there is the old fashioned way." Samus shrugged. The suit formed back around her and then receded. "I think we can give him a run for his money."

"Sorry to interrupt your training, but I need him right now," Agria said appearing. Her face was hard. Defintely nothing like the woman when I fist met her. But then again, she had a chance of dying under my sword. "Time to go." She grabbed me and we were back in the ship. Her biotics were more messed up than my own. I pulled my armor out of my inventory and put it on. She helped me. Every now and then she gave me a faraway look. Like she was looking at me but, not me.

The helmet was the only thing I didn't have on yet. She grabbed my shoulders and pulled my attention. "Mwah," she planted one on me. I was confused and felt my psycho power was happy. My Soul power started cranking up into high gear. I watched as she walked away. She was walking away slowly it seemed like, she just kept going. I started getting tunnel vision. Everything else faded away.

"Agria stop! I said wait dammit." I wanted to talk to her right now. That kiss she gave me was powerful.

"Stop Azul!" Maldova shouted at me. How the h.e.l.l did she get here? "There are other pressing matters to attend to."

"This is important to me." I spun and looked at her. The biotic strands. .h.i.t me hard enough that I calmed down. "What happened?"

"The Vorcha were ambushed," Maldova said as she pulled me back to the mag lift. "They are alive but reports of injured are coming in every five minutes. Its bad. We cant get there fast enough without causing a problem."

"Take me to hanger one," I said to her. "I purchased a few ships for an extraction mission like this. It was not supposed to be used so soon."

"They are in use already," Maldova said giving me a look. "Galtea sent them off to deal with something on Eden."

"Dammit. So what do we have available?" I asked.

"One Arwing. Your Arwing is available. Lunabella had finished it yesterday. Its a two-seater. Who are you taking with you?" Maldova tone was testing me. "Another team will be there later. If you dont think you can do it with out the team.."

"Cut the c.r.a.p. If they are in danger I will go down there. Sophia is busy and Mia will not do good in this high-speed mission. I need someone fast and flexible for this. What is Kasumi doing?" I asked as I looked at the information that was sent to us.

"Off on a.s.signment already," Maldova said quickly. "Only person who meets that.. is Jaina."

"In what way can she keep up, or is flexible." I looked at her like she is crazy. "Did Mileena leave already?"

"Yes, she did. Jaina spent her points on increasing her physical aspects. She also received a lot of Eldar upgrades from that last mission." Maldova really wanted me to take her with me. "She came back just a few hours ago to pick up a few othres. They left but I stopped her to talk with her and Galtea."

"Tch fine," I said as I stepped out of the maglift. "I will meet her at the Arwing."

"Swoosh," the other maglift opened. Jaina walked out with a helmet under her arm. Have no idea where the armor came from. It was not her Guyver unit that is for sure.

"Ready to go?" Jaina asked.

"Yeah." We moved to the Arwing. I started doing some flight checks. "You know anything about this machine?"

"Just a little." I could hear the uncertainty in her voice. "Just the bare basics."

"Just go over on how to apply the oxygen and the escape procedures. Those are the most important for you right now." Everything was good to go. 'Lunabella can you link and make sure everything works great during the flight?' I wanted to get there as fast as possible. I could fly the thing but didnt want to take any chances.

'Of course. Everything good. Setting coordinates to nearest Relay.' Lunabella voice was really happy. Was to preoccupied to check on that at the moment. Jaina's biotic strands were disrtacting.

Focusing a mental cleansing on her I had to get her to focus. "I need your head in the game. Can you do this or do I need to leave you in the Arwing when we arrive?"

"I can do it!" Her voice came out firm. "Just a little queasy is all. The emptiness of s.p.a.ce does not seem comforting."

"Gotcha. Taking off." I leaned back and rechecked that we both were secured.

Lunabella made sure everything went smooth. When we arrive at the relay the ship actually absorbed some of the energy from it. With the added shielding it was like we were pa.s.sing in an aquarium. Next moment we were 10 minutes from Noveria.

'What the h.e.l.l are we doing here Luna?'

'These were the coordinates that Maldova gave me.'

"s.h.i.t. Ugh, I need to get a handle on things more. I think I am losing my mind."

Galtea: You are not. They arrived here when they received the information about the mission we were going to next. This works in our favor since they already were here. However, something odd is going on here.

"Well, let's get our people out of here. I rather they get saved instead of completing this mission."

"The mission might be important." I heard Jaina say as I a.s.sume she was going over the mission parameters.

"I rather save Shalla and her people. Our people from the Geth." I said shaking my head.
