"Thanks for the info." Turning away, I started to walk out. The priest came up and place his hand on my shoulder. "What is it?"

"Be careful young man. I can sense something powerful at work around you. May the Fayte watch over you." The priest said calmy but serious. A slight twinkle in his eye. "Always protect yourself from the madness within."

"Thank you... I think." I left confused and a little worried.

"Haa, so it begins again. I wonder if you will be able to save my kinsmen?" The priest then became lost in thought as he watched Azul walk away. "Ah, so many possibilities. Too bad that young girl knew nothing of my world."

A young child came running out from the others. "Master Yevon! Everyone is ready to sing the Hymn for the end of the match."

I drew my sword from inventory. I was a little put off with it being the Eldar Sword. Well, a piece of Slaneesh anyway. "Beggers cant be choosers. Galtea check on that for me." Launching at the nearest pod creatures, I attack before they even sprouted free.

With a slash, I cleaved it in two. Firing a concussive missile towards another. With each slash, the Eldar blade repaired itself. My pyscho/soul power activate. It happened just in time. I felt the blade reach out to me. It was pleading for something.

Several pods had launched from the air targeting me. I dodge them one by one. I ducked, jumped and slashed as I moved on the bridge.

"Hey over here!" A Zanakrand native yelled at me. He was surrounded by a few of the creatures. Furthur behind him on a bench were a few kids huddled up. "Can you buy me some time? Just a few minutes."

"Tch sure." Activating Misty Fist I sent water whips to push them back. The whips then pierced each of them to the ground before they could stand. A flush of energy left the sword and entered me. My biotics grew and instantly sent a wave to suppress the sword. A small battle wage for a second. The sword went dull before shining. I felt a complete resonance with it. Their was something inside the sword that wanted to be free. It tried to take over before it was subjugated.

Galtea: Good job. I have used my own points to make sure there will never be a problem again. I will run checks to completely figure out what happened. My first thought are the blade is reacting to this world.

'That is fine. As long as I can use it for now.' I sent that mental message before looking at another wave of the pods descending from the sky.

Activating my biotic shielding to protect us all, I watched as they hit against it. Molding misty fist I turned the exterior of the barrier to spikes. As the pods. .h.i.t they effectively killed themselves. Another two waves landed against it. The barrier finally strained from the onslaught. I look to the guy who called me earlier.

"Hurry up!" I said before catching one of the flickers in an aqua claw. Tearing it to pieces I already moved on to the next. "Or I will drop this and let you all get ripped apart!"

"Rig.. right!" Finishing with a stutter he finished his magic. Up above him a portal open. Out walked a Cat on two feet. I say feet because they did not look like paws at all. With daggers in its hand, it was ready for action. "Let's go Kani!" The man said extending his hand casting a small protection barrier next.

The cat growl. "Rooar!" The cat stabbed at the next group of pods. Spinning in a hurricane it moved through the area. It gave me a taunting smirk.

I understood it a little. I remember that people were able to create Aeons with deep emotion with another. Just hope this guy didn't you know.. make one with an actual cat. Or maybe his lover was a Ronso.

Rushing back I rejoined the fight. The more I fought the more comfortable I felt. My Laguz blood was running rampant. Not uncontrollable but excited. With each down sin sp.a.w.n, I felt the stirring of my Pyscho/Soul power. As well as my magic abilities.

A flicker came down differently than the others. It stood up the moment it landed. A mouth opened up that sucked in the mana from the surroundings. For a brief moment, I saw the world fluctuate away.

'Oh wow, that was..something.' With a quick few slashes, I ran deeper in. When the water made it to the bridge I used it to supplement my own power. Two inches of water made it easier for me to move around to dodge and strike. "Going have to thank Hotshot when I see her."

"Haa!" I slashed at the new flicker. The sword cut along its fin.

"Ehhhh," it screamed in pain as the energy left it. The sh.e.l.l closed up then the spikes along its sh.e.l.l fired.

"Tch, tch, tch, tch, tch." The sword caught against the needle-like spikes. With a deep inhale of what I could only a.s.sume as it taking a breath, it fired a blast of water at me. Placing my biotic shield back up I was pushed back a little till I used my control of water.

"Woosh," I repositioned my self along the water and slid around attacking the other Flickers nearby. When I could, I would stop and push the others that were far off with a water whip. The cat would then take that chance to attack them.

After a few minutes, the crowd of creatures dwindles to only a few. The people finally escaped as the cat started to vanish. I saw its summoner smile at me before he vanished. He mouthed out a thank you before completely vanishing.

"What in the world is going on here?"

Galtea: Part of the world is fading. Do not worry, they are technically safe. You should focus on those other Flicker's as well as that one that has been eating the world.

"Right." Seeing above as another group ran across an upper bridge chased by another Flicker. "So many.. well shoot." While I looked up there the Flicker from before fired a bunch of spikes at me. With no one behind me, I just moved away to the side. Firing a concussive shot at the upper bridge while doing so.

"Boom!" The flicker fell down to the lower levels. While it struggled to stand up the other one took a large inhale. Some of the rubble went its way before it disappeared. When the blast came out, I focused on the water and took control of it. It was quite easy to do. With the redirect, I sent some of it towards the other bridges that started to break. I tried using my mind to hardened the water to make roadblocks against the creatures. The remainder of the water I fired it at the ground. Using the pressure I launched into the air.

"Hup," my foot pushed against one of the small bridges and I launched back at the flicker. Pulling the water from the bridge I swung down with the added water making it a giant water blade. With my strength, I was able to put enough force to cut it right in half.

As the creature dissolved the sword glowed in radiance. Releasing a small bit of energy it washed over me healing me.

"That was fun. But hard to do. I need to push my powers more still. Where the heck is Tidus at?" The moment I said that a small map appeared highlighting the way. "Just what I needed." Reusing my Misty Fist, I dashed off towards the location.

In 10 minutes I arrived to find Tidus and Auron fighting against Sinsp.a.w.n Ammes. This monstrosity looked completely different from the game. The base of it was replaced with feet instead of just a solid trunk. The top was adorned with a head that sprouted mostly tentacles but they were made from human hands. I stopped for a second to observe. One of the tentacles went down and grabbed an unconsciousness girl nearby.

Getting picked up the girl started to wake up. "Ughh what happened?" She moved about and started to scratch at the hand tentacle. "Let me go you filthy thing! Why is this happening to me?! I just wanted to see a stupid blitzball game with my friends!"

Tidus was busy fighting some tentacles off. He looked awful. Blood dripped down his face and a deep gash was across his chest. Auron was busy chopping several tentacle hands up. As its head opened the tentacles stopped moving. The surroundings started to blur.

A blue option floated near the side of it. I couldn't tell with all the rubble burying it. Its mouth had a small red glow to it.

'Well I have no idea what that blue glow is but I cant just fired at something I don't that's buried. That red thing is its belly... I think.' Dashing at full speed I made my way. 'Adrenaline Rush at full power I jumped right onto its chest. On my feet, I turned them into water spikes with misty fist.

"Arggh," Ammes groaned a little. Its breath hitting me right in the face.

"Your breath smell's absolutely awful." I put my hand in it's mouth an fired a concussive shot into it. "Boom." As the explosion went off, I cut the tentacle holding the girl. She fell on her b.u.t.t on the ground.

"Ouch!" She stood up and kicked the monster. "Stood thing! I bet you were created by the dogs of Bevelle!"

I dropped next to her. "Can you actually fight?" My sword went out striking at the base of its leg. I made a cut about an inch deep. Seeing a tentacle come at us, I slid back pulling her with me. Stopping by Tidus I handed him the girl. "Here cheerleader for you!"

Running back up I moved just in time to see a tentacle come at my face. With a duck, I dropped low. Seeing another come skirting across the ground I rolled to the side.

"Kracck," it sc.r.a.pped the location I just was at. A few shards peeled off the bridge with ease. As soon as I stood up a blow finally caught me in the chest.

"Kuff," I spit a few drops of blood out. "Grrr," seeing my blood p.i.s.sed me off I let an almost feral growl. The next tentacle came at my face really fast. 'Lv 3 269/500 Adrenaline Rush' with thew slow down I dodged my head and brought the sword up to cut it off. Grabbing my hand at the next one that came, I pulled on it towards me. My feet dug into the metal of the bridge a little. I was not physically strong enough just to get a good footing. Turning misty feet into some anchors I heaved with all I had left.

Ammes jerked forward a little. Its leg hit the ground. I pulled again but had to let go when several tentacles came. I lost the chance to attack as I had to dodge. A white light encases my body.

"I so can fight. Just you watch me." The girl from earlier pulled a baton closer to her chest. Tidus moved next to her with his cut healed. "Keep it busy and I will send it back to oblivion!" She then started praying.

"Dont worry we got this. Tidus moved up next to me cutting a few tentacles away. "You ready?"

"No problem." With that, we fought back to back cutting the tentacles up. Auron stood next to the girl protecting her. Whenever I had the chance I would fire a concussive shot at its legs. Tidus took out any tentacle that got pa.s.s any strike of mine Unlike the summoner before it took her only a minute to complete her summons.

A blinding radiance covered the area. As the summons appeared the background started to disappear. A golden hand came out and strangled Ammes. In seconds it disappeared into motes of light that the summon absorbed.

"What in the world is going on?" The girl said looking around. Unlike everything else, she didnt disappear. She looked absolutely scared. Looking at me she asked me for help. "Please help I dont want to die." The summon came down and grabbed her. As she was enveloped they disappeared. But not like the others.

The place started to shake an break apart. Auron came over and placed his hand on Tidus they both started to disappear. Tidus smiled at me.

"Guess this is the end... goodbye bro." His smile looked too sad. The biotic strand hit me hard. He didnt want to die. With a blink, they disappeared.

"Ok, this was all way too different." Running out of the collapsing world I put everything into mist fist to help slide. "Galtea where is the exit?"

Galtea: Keep heading straight. I suggest you used just your Misty Fist for what is coming next.

"What is coming..." my voice trailed off as I saw them. Mechanical legs of doom step into the city outskirts. Down below people dying left an right as the buildings toppled down. "..this way." I finished my sentence shocked. "Are you telling me that is what they fought against?"

Galtea: Bevelle had the machines. Zanarkand had the summons. You will witness the fate of the Summoners capital city. Death and destruction. You cannot help them anymore.

"Why are you showing me this?" I didnt know what I was feeling. I felt the sword become stronger as well as myself but it was all used to get me out of here as fast as possible.

Galtea: I am not. The System is showing you. This is the possible outcome of several worlds. If you gain the strength you can save them. Power can be used for salvation. It also the reason you were not given enough feeling for you to become attached. I am sorry. Truly I am. More than others, I know what it is like to see a world twist and turn. Get ready for the time dilation.

As the attack continued it took me two hours to just get out. It would not have taken so long but I kept grabbing people as I went. I kept them in bowls of bubbles that slid along with me. In the end, I turned to watch with the others. The people didnt leave as the city just feel apart. Slowly they turned to nothing. But not before aging. Some became extremely old some disappeared young. Each smiled before leaving. Not one asked me for anything. They didnt have to. The biotic strands let me know what they wished. When it was all over I found that I had stood there for centuries. Several different summoners came out of the city and fought. New and more powerful Machina came to meet them. This went on and on. Then I saw him, the old man from the temple. It looked like him anyway, I couldn't really tell.

"Was that.. all .. for nothing..." I felt hot tears roll down my cheeks. I couldn't help it. All the biotic strands took its toll on me. I was hoping that I would have disappeared with everything else but I didn't. I was in limbo as I watched or something else. Galtea told me I was here but not really here.
