All the goods were ransacked and the mercenary that did the transport all died. The caravan was struck last night on its way to Eagrose."

The older boy snarled at the boy. "Was it the Corpse Brigade again?" He gestured towards the others getting there attention.

Before the squire was able to answer the older boy turned around and declared loudly, "the filthy peasants should all be killed. Who is with me? Leave them all dead at sort this out after."

Ramza said to his squad, "I wonder where all this leads...Delita, what do you make of this?"

"I'm not sure. I have my guesses, but...I think Duke Larg is coming to Garland." Delita said as he gazed into the crowd to see how they will react to the situation at hand. His teeth clenched when none moved to help.

Ramza placed his hand in front of Delita gesturing for him to continue, "I'm listening. Wait did you say Duke Larg? Why?

"Not just the duke. The marquis Elmdore de Limberry, too. All of Ivalice is in turmoil. The Order's supposed to be keeping things under control, but the fact is, they number too few." Delita said in a firm tone as looked at Ramza.

"So little cousin are you just gonna stare or will you do something?" I glared at Ramza and Delita I strode forward to the fool that was 'preaching'.

I ignore him and continue to address the crowd. I activate Lv2 1251/3000 Mental Cleansing on them trying to get there head straight. I don't need them going out acting recklessly. I spit over my shoulder and start to walk back to my group. Stopping at the young messenger, " here let me help you up. Everyone is just rattled from what's going no need to be alarmed, " extending my left hand outward for him to take.

The messenger looks down and starts to grab his scattered papers and mumbles, " You need not to concern yourself with me, my lord it is fine." He looks up at me with a strained smile while nodding his head.

"Ah", I let out an audible sigh to show my disappointment. I then begin to pick up the immediate papers near myself. Glancing over most of the contents before handing it to him.

"Oi, you coward turn and face me. Do not think you can just disrespect me and walk away like nothing happened." The older squire walks down his makeshift stage and up to me while drawing his sword.

I turn around slowly looking him dead in the eyes. "You really don't wanna do this you little cub. You should just try worrying about yourself and your team before others. Or hey, just a thought use your power to help direct that anger at the other n.o.bles who are abusing the laws and inciting rebellion."

Tia moved herself to the head of the crowd and began to draw her sword. "Master let me deal with him, you shouldn't exert yourself too much." She had a resolute looking in her eyes.

I noticed the other squire in my group had his blade drawn and ready for combat.

"No, it is fine. I need to fight more. Acting the way I have lately will only hinder me. Stand back Tia and the rest of you as well. No reason for anyone to get hurt because of us."

The older squire lunged at me with from my side. Saw him coming a mile away with the residual effects of my adrenaline rush still going. Activating my Lv4 43 /110 Biotic Shielding using it to take the brunt of the blow.

'Now this is a good time to hone my skills and try those upgrades. Should make it easier for me to meet up with Alistair. I focused my biotic shield to a smaller state giving it a deeper tint but less coverage area. For every blow of his, I parried with my left. On the last strike, he pulled back.

"Draw your sword, And fight me seriously." Old Squire said as he fixed his stance. He started to calm himself and drew magic into himself.

Galtea: Do not use your Eldar sword or your misty fist.

'Why the heck not!?' I thought quickly to Galtea. I am no where near the level where I should take it easy on opponents. Is this due to the upgrades.' I asked Galtea exasperatedly she should have said beforehand.

Dodging to the left his sword went past my right side. Barely even scratching my clothes. Steeping over to the side I brought my left to the front. My biotic arm came down on his sword.

"Ting," the contact of my shield hitting his sword echoed in the hall. His sword held against my blow. He looked slightly shaken from the impact.

I took a step forward reaching up with my right arm. Grabbing onto his collar I decide to attempt a knockout blow.

I pulled him by the collar into my left fist. A sickening crunch came out upon contact. My hand was fine when I eased it back, his nose, forehead, and cheekbones had cuts and was bleeding slowly.

Galtea: That's why. Your misty fist combined with your new strength is extremely deadly. The only reason he is not dead is due to your biotic shielding not meant for melee. More for defense. Especially using your ability on a squire who happens to just be a level three. If it was a level one complete scrub what do you think would happen. Also when you get the chance get another sword to use. The Eldar sword should not be used on regular people or allies mind you. Save it for the important people and battles.

"Tsk," 'Fine fine you are right about that.' Everyone was staring at the outcome of the little skirmish. "Give him a potion dammit! Don't just stand there like fools. This was just a dispute that was solved with our fist not one to the death." Several cadets scrambled for a potion. Soon some of them realize that they were a chemist. A minute or two later the old squire was back to his senses. I walked up to the man "sorry about the excessive force you sorta hit a sore spot for me with your speech."

"Aye sire you are correct. I may have been out of line with some of what I said but too many people are dying due to this war." He got up off the floor and looked me in the eye. "Most of what I said came from my own hatred at.. what the peasants did to my family. I can't just forget what they have done."

His magic started to die down as he calmed himself. I felt a biotic strand of helplessness leave him. Here was a man that lost something quite important to him that led him on a track of destruction. I activate observe to see who this man was.

A knight instructor walks in with a small group of archers. His eyes darting around the room glancing at each of us quickly before moving on to the next. When he notices we are so to react he screams out.

'Galtea brief me about how to meet up with Alistair while he is talking. No sense in dawdling here.'

"I said to gather around you brats!" At that, we all form up. "Listen up you all are getting flushed out for some a.s.signments. There is a new uprising of riots in a few towns, your orders are clear stop it at once. Treat this like it's your final test," the knight instructor stop at a short pause reading our faces.

He started giving us the details about what we were gonna go up against and answered some questions from some of the cadets. After a few minutes of this, he realized the time started to settle the crowd down. "Alright, that's it, good luck out there and come back safe."

The knight instructor gave everyone a once over before leaving with his attendants. He looked at me with a cold stare before exiting the hall.

Galatea's brief informed me how to meet up with Alistair. It seems The System fixed it for me and him to meet up during my test. It was set up that I could take a little detour to meet with him, even though I was here due to a companion mission mostly. The outward scenarios will happen as well, also didn't seem to matter what order I do this.

You will need finesse at that time and I know you don't like that route. But a high charisma will do the work for you. Also with our synchro going up, you have unlocked more of your special User ability which is that of a Pather. I can not tell you the details of that at this time.

The female squire in my group Tia is my personal attendant as I know from my new memories came up to my front.

"The knight instructor still has no love for you my Lord," Tia said in a very stoic tone.

"You still have love for me right though Tia that's what counts. Guess that's what I get for not asking a question heh. I dunno lets get some things squared away before heading out. Also, all of you go tend to what you need to I have some things to discuss with some people." At my words, the two chemists in the group leave. Tia and Carn stay by my side.

I look to address Tia and Carn, " go get some extra potions we will be hunting while out there as well it won't hurt to have extra supplies for ourselves. Also, make sure your gear is up to snuff. Especially you Tia stop holding back on your money I need you to equip yourself properly. Also, pick me up another sword or axe if you can. Also, this is an order so no refusing." In the beginning, she was gonna rebuke me until I made it an order. "Carn get a great deal of potion's and phoenix downs, ok something isn't sitting right with me. Both of you go togethor watch each other's back."

"Yes my Lord." They both pop to attention and leave the room. I head over to Draco.

"My lord how may I help you." Draco was getting his team ready to head as well. They were all geared out. He is definitely more adept at this than most of the other squads.

Even small amounts will help me actually. It does not come with its own risk the person who was poison is one of the most influential in our lands. The one who poisoned him will go to great lengths to keep it that way will you be able to handle this?" I tried my best to convey the importance of what was needed. Delita placed his hands on his shoulders to comfort him. The rest of his team gather around to calm him down as well.

I walked through the Akademy and made my way through the halls. I stopped when I felt something pull at me towards a deeper exterior. I headed that way as I head a voice began to speak.

"One who hears my voice come to me. I need to see you." The voice started to get higher and more captivating.

'Galtea what am I possibly looking at here or dealing with anyway.' This is definitely something new I think, I don't remember there being anything important in the Akademy.

Galtea: Whatever it is here, is gravely wounded. It is powerful still but be mindful and cautious.

'So I can use my Eldar sword now right??' I asked expectantly.

Galtea I would recommend you do, so yes.

'Sweet d.a.m.n yes.' I place my hand on the sword and walked deeper in. I was not expecting what was before me.
