After finishing my meal and bath, I was contemplating on bed.

If the skull ring effect didn't activate, it would have been alot worse than what transpired. The girls are saying that I don't have enough combat experience, but that is still frustrating.

I'll set that problem aside for now, my current sighing is for something else.

Yep, it's the gacha. The last time I rolled was when I got Estel. It's been quite some time since then. We haven't doing much hunting as well, as of now I only have 4 manastones. This looks pretty bad.
If a new campaign period were to start as we are now, it's gonna turn into another Death March.

Sensing danger from my words, Noru carried Estel (like a sack of potatoes) and made for the door.
Looks like she intends to run away and avoid the problem.

The moment her hand touched the doork.n.o.b, she and Estel became particles of light and disappeared. After which those same particles of light gathered before me and the 2 of them appeared.

[Pyaー!? Why, why are we infront of Okura-dono!?]

[Phew, I antic.i.p.ated something like this happening and set up a Beacon beforehand.]

Noru yelped in surprise when I suddenly appeared infront of her.

Then the moment she tries to run away I tap the selection on my smartphone, I have the beacon selection screen prepared beforehand, and use that to transfer Estel and Noru as a group.

I restrain the confused Noru's arms from behind her, to stop her from moving. Estel slipped out from under her arm before I noticed and moved to my side.
I sit on the bed, all the while restraining Noru. Noru is forced to sit on my lap, and I entangle her legs too so she is unable to move at all.

[Hold on Noru, calm down already. What are you panicking so much for.]

She struggled to try and break free from my restraint. She struggled for awhile, and then finally settled down after realizing she can't break out from my restraint.

She is in her casual clothing for sleeping, which means she currently doesn't have her weapon equipped. Additionally I have my Power Bracelet equipped.
All of this is within range of my a.s.sumptions. My timing for talking about this topic was also planned from the start.

After telling Estel what happened during our last hunt, Estel looked at me with reproachful eyes.
Uuu, stop it, don't look at me with those eyes. That makes me feel like I have done something bad.

[Think about it this way. You'd be able to defeat monsters more efficiently with stronger weapons which means it'll be easier to level up. In addition, in the gacha rolling process, there's the chance to get UR units too if luck is on your side. That's pretty efficient isn't it? You'll be able to level up, get better equipment and even get new party members. How wonderful is that.]

[Hーmm… That sounds like a valid point.]

[Estel! Do not be swayed! The efficiency that Okura-dono speaks of, heavily derails from the norm! Now is our only chance to stop it!]

Also, this world differs from GC, as you can obtain manastones from defeating certain monsters. Increasing our levels the usual way, is also linked to acquiring manastones.
Which means collecting manastones is actually very logical here. This system is quite the blessing wouldn't you think?

[We already know that there are campaign periods for this gacha. If we intend to traverse that labyrinth place in the future, we are going to need to thoroughly equip ourselves. Getting set back by monsters at the level of those eagle warriors is out of the question.]

Estel waves her finger, and that same black haze appears and sticks onto Noru's face. She was still restrained by me, so she falls asleep on top of me as she is unable to move. From there I carry Noru, and set her down in the bed next to the one I was sitting on.
She was pretty heavy when I carried her before, but she's much lighter now as she isn't wearing her armor. I do feel slightly bad for her, but I'll get her to sleep forcefully this time round.
